- promote the Centre’s ISP to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information/ K( p1 @/ P4 h% p' n$ ]- ?# \
- promote ISP in various media: newspaper, radio, newsletter, etc.
0 |* o g% M" G' x( I- develop or update brochures, pamphlets, information packages, etc. for ISP% @6 Q9 F/ e6 e M$ s) o- R
- provide support to ISP staff$ }. d, p7 M0 x" Y
- recruit new members to the Newcomers Club and maintain existing members4 }% U2 r7 z5 P u/ t7 a( d( ~
- promote, organize and coordinate the Newcomers Club’s activities

- fulfill the goals and objectives of ISP as contracted by funder: }. D4 Q7 i O$ r; T: m, y' `0 e J
- report writing, data collection, conduct evaluations, budget management, etc.8 Y" l& W. O. P8 e8 T' H* u3 b

- assist with front counter services as needed and assigned

Qualifications& z8 X4 }4 g9 G; r
- degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline; relevant experience with community services/projects/immigrants will be considered
0 t2 ?, I4 m% o- y# a% f- knowledge of immigrant issues and concerns, community resources and services available0 K- \, b1 N' {: ]; |/ x' L5 t' M
- experience in working with community groups and community liaison workers, P3 F0 f$ c* y
- good computer skills using Microsoft and Chinese software
) b- m& r \' N/ p0 x0 G8 j$ I- speak & write Chinese (fluent in Mandarin preferred). V3 R: X, P# w( I0 K9 z9 W! W) Q/ ~9 G
