- promote the Centre’s ISP to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information o2 z0 i( @/ z- a4 ?
- promote ISP in various media: newspaper, radio, newsletter, etc.2 N7 c( p# n+ |. R) `. A# x' R
- develop or update brochures, pamphlets, information packages, etc. for ISP0 k& D& `) V' \5 o1 y
- provide support to ISP staff/ O( y% t; h3 b2 w6 M
- recruit new members to the Newcomers Club and maintain existing members
; W5 @1 [/ r. U9 p- promote, organize and coordinate the Newcomers Club’s activities
: r1 ^3 b6 o) r/ Q( O2 b9 n, G; Z* f- outreach in different areas of the city where new immigrants are concentrated+ L* p) {; i; t# J6 ?
- attend meetings relevant to ISP and outreach work to advocate issues and concerns of new immigrants o0 j; Y, Y% Q* ]5 A$ l W i
- adapt to a flexible working schedule to accommodate the program’s goals
" T0 ], T. P8 i' ~' J( L- fulfill the goals and objectives of ISP as contracted by funder% e; L; ^+ v. h4 @7 l9 j7 d
- report writing, data collection, conduct evaluations, budget management, etc.
; I3 B z: v% @2 f8 `- recruit and coordinate volunteers to assist with outreach activities

Qualifications
9 G4 o5 p+ S8 c2 W1 M0 x9 k% R- degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline; relevant experience with community services/projects/immigrants will be considered
: L& f5 X1 C4 r6 N5 |" w- knowledge of immigrant issues and concerns, community resources and services available
# A E' u9 K1 e' q8 I- experience in working with community groups and community liaison workers" B \2 [+ K& p4 Y: \# t; D3 B0 g
- good computer skills using Microsoft and Chinese software. E6 ~% y+ \& v' T- u" R
- speak & write Chinese (fluent in Mandarin preferred)
7 E1 g# H3 |4 S7 s0 R3 m( J- good interpersonal and people skills
0 |0 g, y* w; K: W2 N$ Q- good organizational and coordination skills
