Position Summary
- k( g& N. g* s# k+ lUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
" S: I2 Y& o8 a* {0 aplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
* g- ?: |& N7 K- RMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).9 k, r1 {$ L) S9 x* c. S
L C" q* T$ DTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.% j/ D6 i) }, ^! d T* K
+ t# t3 u- B; |7 X- OJob Qualification
- ~7 Q/ _; D" d6 i. h$ WMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
1 Q3 J' c9 o) l" M& }" [6 G9 U3 xMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s0 I- v: k0 b2 O
School): T! t" ^2 U6 t# i' j/ E% z2 O
Must have supervisory experience/ M0 X( ^/ L. ?/ b) b* O$ l
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
1 [2 P' f7 l: T$ ]1 L5 `Must be computer literate
% L7 Y# H" [! S# i8 oMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.( G: S& W+ Q: X: p, o, Z3 S
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
0 @6 E$ {! c/ { @1 a+ W: bMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills
( b9 m; U0 Q0 A& B+ QMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
0 P3 A% V% y n* N6 J) {establish team.
