Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
$ {2 c: K8 A8 hplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
' k/ p6 N0 U; w# l$ b4 ?3 wMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).; F' H$ ~" a# w$ Q' S7 H- ?
t+ |0 w8 ~0 N: P; I+ Z% D% JTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.5 _2 _- z% o) O7 C
7 R' N. u, C- kJob Qualification
4 @/ A+ @% F% n( x! N/ q7 R. RMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
3 R+ S2 N0 \" R7 a/ YMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
' w+ C- X& U: c7 zSchool)+ B$ c8 N( {2 v' p! \. r! }
Must have supervisory experience1 s- A3 M2 e( p' c
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system4 i( \1 b- j& c% I, V- g0 |4 Z
Must be computer literate0 @6 C* P, \. E( z
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.( g6 F" w( z3 K, a* m
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network# c/ F- R7 l8 F+ q* H0 z. _
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
. O# f9 ~; E, \Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already* x2 h; B( P, i# ]1 N
