I strongly advise to focus on urban subdivisions, for the money you wanna spend, you can buy or build a pretty nice house in the SW. BTW, do you ever think about the water supply/sewage disposal problem that come with acreage living, these inconvenience is something which urban dwellers may not appreciate.
