Responsibilities:
: B$ u, A/ s+ q0 v5 lWorking as part of a team, this teaching and learning specialist will:
: w4 D( i. n0 p( s- g Provide research and writing in the development of an online Blended Learning Model.
, I* U4 s" {6 B2 T! n; W1 B Participate in initiatives of the Curriculum Development and Faculty Support.
& l7 L6 I- V5 `7 l Work in partnership with a Content Expert to develop an online curriculum in Moodle. - J; g* @8 a. [, h6 b
Qualifications:
t# a0 R, E5 I# `6 U7 m) t2 e2 VA Bachelor’s Degree in Education with teaching experience including experience in curriculum development. Some teaching experience in a post-secondary environment is desirable. A high level of knowledge in faculty support, instructional techniques, and/or designing and delivering online learning materials is required. A strong commitment to superior customer service and to a high quality teaching and learning environment as well as excellent skills in project management, consulting, and facilitation are essential. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered. |
