 Proactively and independently develop initiatives in ethno-cultural communities that * P; p' u. E' I/ g) B; T0 U" m
increase their capacity to participate fully in the community
0 X3 `0 ?) X9 ~% H! {8 P; u( C Develop initiatives that convene stakeholders, community organizations, government agencies and foster collaborations between immigrant and main-stream stakeholders.
7 G( K. @- Y1 a; m, C5 c& W4 a+ e7 Q% i Proactively assist immigrant communities with: identifying needs, training, strategic planning, board development, project development, community economic development, funding proposal writing, program planning and implementation
- O+ U0 M9 r) Q. P* ?, F7 A: a! @ Develop Community Economic Development initiatives and provide small business coaching to groups and individuals

) E$ g/ H1 F) b) w! x Demonstrated ability to independently develop community initiatives u% y, ~( z& z* p
 Community development and CED background and experience
9 R0 c1 @) K/ [+ E Strong group facilitation skills 3 {! f9 b+ R8 l0 E. j7 \
 Experience supervising staff
( n% C% ` I4 e- T Understanding of cross-cultural issues
9 P5 H( L$ C: J Excellent written and oral communication skills, including proposal writing skills
: S R$ ?# s0 q# t* V Strong organizational and Program delivery skills" D. R* e g! l/ A

Education/technical skills
