4 Y7 [" Y. d# B1 a; A* c  B4 G0 d Complete comprehensive intake and needs assessment process and develop referral and case plans to support newcomers in fully settling and participating in the community  
 Continue to follow-up with newcomers, EMCN staff and other service providers to ensure newcomers’ needs are met     
/ `. g) o# z0 ?( `7 D" w Provide holistic counselling to individuals and families, including hands-on support with accessing resources and resolving difficult issues
 Advocate on newcomers’ behalf to programs, institutions and service providers
. C8 P+ E3 i/ D6 s Research and maintain current information about programs and resources available in the community
 Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with staff of programs and services in the city and ensure EMCN clients access the most appropriate solutions to meet their needs
 Work as a team with EMCN staff to ensure holistic supports are provided to newcomers.

Qualifications
* P" ?1 j: q. n- k) Z" I8 S Social work degree or diploma
0 D  F" I4 |$ m& F Current RSW designation preferred   
 Demonstrated experience with holistic case management and supportive counselling
+ a) l) {; b. k6 R' `* Y Knowledge of and experience in accessing a wide range of programs, services and supports available in the City  
 Ability to effectively listen, assess needs and guide people in a supportive manner
 Sensitivity to cross-cultural issues
 Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
 Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
. m# E/ t, }3 P# C Ability to perform variety of diverse tasks under time pressure.
