% R6 U6 I* m2 U% `/ S6 s, k" l% Y5 CAssists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)
5 Y+ |* F' b8 Q( c- E) V/ a! `Provides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required
5 H" p* U* s2 |+ iPerforms other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed

Qualifications6 v5 }8 S, b. _0 y7 f r
Diploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred. J/ h4 k0 ^# K
Demonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred7 ?) G |7 \' ~+ d2 l) z) x
Solid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset
7 C- b. H; u" U$ u* |) hKnowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred
- s/ H; G7 t$ O: s% q$ s9 yFamiliarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit
