Duties; m" }% R/ O) I0 G4 J+ T
Assists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)# Q. r+ B1 F4 E1 {+ ~5 q0 @
Provides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required
$ J) h+ j) J% P$ UPerforms other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed

$ H) z& ^0 P% R/ S: CDiploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred
/ W' `+ [" h+ H3 ?% ^' gDemonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred, k, k. U& h4 u0 _
Solid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset
