Responsibilities, H% O2 B4 v# r
■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.3 i. C; O6 ^' ~2 A" c
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.6 j+ X# `" K6 `- v% E
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
/ _$ j% x6 \. G, tExperience and Education:) ^6 f+ x6 v: B# n4 V3 r
■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.2 `4 }( y, ?% `* q& T
■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
. y! a" N8 [4 h( }# _/ B1 o K■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.& b, D& ~; r( Q# j% P1 c
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
/ u9 B$ y; [- q0 C. y h6 A■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;" c% w& H! F7 ]! |7 q
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
+ D# B+ I% }3 t5 t* m; [■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
