 Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
4 T5 K/ x; d- v' B Completing required paperwork.
 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
$ t! x" Q; Q, T2 t& R: l Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
% ~4 |4 j+ {- p" z& ^ Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
 Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

Qualifications:

# U  L, W, N) A& S. e Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
# ^7 p! R4 H. p8 |' H Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
- q' @; m" r( O8 E Knowledge of community resources.
6 c0 u& H* m0 U* g6 \1 J3 V Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

Position:
7 q  K" @1 R; u. o" `0 h$ \This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
There is a 3-month probationary period.
