 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
0 `) W j6 E: @6 @: }8 V. q$ U: T p Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.

 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
- }! I) S: S2 h) A' C Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.* @; ` A: l/ c: v% C7 `' S8 V
 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information. / Z4 _2 V$ E7 ?4 ?- D0 j
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner./ k! m+ }8 N& a+ y* x. s
 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
5 M; u& m: [! H3 F9 J" ] Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.

) ]* ~" z6 n5 G+ n- V# j+ d3 Y Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.- z" G: n" _* }
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
4 x' r9 P& R+ ~1 c- p* b" j3 g Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
. ~# ]4 H: w/ ~# ] Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.7 {# m- A0 R# A6 a' L) b
 Knowledge of community resources.
! ? {9 J4 A" k Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
' I- i4 }5 A* [; C$ |! F" W' a8 U Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training. # ?, y% s* G1 b( R% O4 ~
" S6 a; t' {2 q! {1 K9 a( F) fPosition:
3 _; O' i, ^0 D+ T2 jThis is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
