# M' G& j) W+ `3 s" n Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
) p6 k8 k0 I5 Y2 L6 ^' `* Y+ I Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
6 i& |8 w4 {- E+ @0 b \; ] Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.( [1 f6 I+ G J
 Completing required paperwork.

 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
% b4 d$ s. G( O5 l7 w Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information. 8 p# x- ?* Z1 o6 C8 K
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.

 Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.2 h- _+ \& q! M# _; t: B' Z6 ~

 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
- }4 ^# ?. I6 ]! H3 j& X/ v Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.; l, w+ U# Y* H* Q* r
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth. q8 n( `. D. Z/ \- i
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.8 I0 o% ]* C: x8 M* A6 i2 U; @
 Knowledge of community resources.
% Z" ~& H0 A8 y$ r! N Z Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
. U+ G* R f# |7 d Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training. & a: M# W3 V0 ?# b6 z6 O" v; z
2 d+ Z& \& g6 t( q: l! XPosition: U5 F9 C8 P" H) _/ B
This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
