, Y8 y" m. J" G3 n% c. F; ` Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
1 W3 D- l9 u3 h  A1 y+ Y Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
( c$ v% O( W( ?9 A" l) Y* \2 r Completing required paperwork.
 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
3 Q+ c; i) {) L( S0 ~% | Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
$ B, d- Y$ g) U0 f) ]- |6 r Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
 Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.


; _- C. u  v1 Y* D* UQualifications:

 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
 Knowledge of community resources.
# \; ~1 @" `# P Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
" Q  m* v, ]- ^3 q4 n  H Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

Position:
This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
- H3 t, |" D$ D! JThere is a 3-month probationary period.
