 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.

 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.

 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information. # t2 C# W5 t7 v5 N% C+ H" t
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.

 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.) u' q0 m: W2 D, v. t: m0 \9 r
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.6 T+ s! b6 g6 ]5 \% X3 D! e; u c
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.; W1 \# E* A& g! J* I3 K+ m: T
 Knowledge of community resources.
# \; ~1 @" `# P Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
" Q m* v, ]- ^3 q4 n H Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training. 7 U E" O, x' x; [1 g2 ]4 ^

This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
