1 w1 R: U. ?5 ]& H Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
+ W: k( F. r1 p# d: j. |4 {! F Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.+ x }6 c/ A) l) h7 g
 Completing required paperwork.

 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information. 9 F! J/ e# H& B! _8 B
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
& D+ S) b+ q3 f7 M/ ^2 R Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.- W: e H" L. g
 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.

Qualifications:; B! K8 F* W0 t7 M7 M
) x0 A% V: a+ ~! d. w0 C$ z# h6 E Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.0 M6 h2 r9 M$ `6 i: G# E# C, ~" }" z
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.. S2 ] ?) f h
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
0 _, f2 C! `; R Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
! h4 g: h9 \4 A! F$ x6 g* I) R2 r T( Z Knowledge of community resources.9 h3 M1 f; o }$ |, F4 F' u
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance. T. \" u- S. P0 k; v
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50; 7 t# U5 I3 H' v- ]
starting January 2006. There is a 3-month probationary period. |
