The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

* s3 e6 b# `/ @$ y' S, A# k0 XThis is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.

* o/ M/ T* \7 m8 v• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required
+ r6 q1 i- ]4 o- U7 b6 Z8 \• Answer multi line telephone system# i3 w7 J3 ?/ s

• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads
" H: @; ` h6 W& v$ p ] m' J• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits* O& U% `, R9 I% ]
• Input and manage high volume of data
. Q/ i+ ]/ `' [: Q( V& c• Update and maintain databases' z ~! N0 U- }$ R6 ]
• Generate monthly reports and statistics! k" j; w; W& V2 F, q9 K m$ H; i' j
• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation

• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors4 _9 E" m* N0 e, _
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre
" ?/ [! l, Y7 G2 e3 a• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

6 }0 P& O0 h n* B• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure6 [- Y7 _% E4 M+ m/ m6 p( D v
• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS 3 q9 {8 i# G5 V [6 F0 r2 X
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

) N Y$ P" V& A• Able to interact positively with a diverse population7 o7 E/ g. m' y9 j; h
