The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre. ; B* i- U9 d' ?; s7 a. ^- [
3 J/ _' F; c9 X* m9 n" f0 r+ V3 _This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.

$ |8 Y2 _$ I/ J! L+ d) z• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required1 x" Z% b$ k3 P- y: V+ Z& {# o' ~. o
• Answer multi line telephone system2 h8 [3 z( T& m0 N$ e+ g
- n' a( j2 R' e0 h2 u6 b- a Y/ QAdministration:5 `6 b1 P' B% }
• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads
1 \% p4 r7 W( L1 e+ `• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits! {$ r" [* r M/ s4 _" L
• Input and manage high volume of data
8 u4 J& H4 r$ l5 G• Update and maintain databases
. V' f6 x' T% Y: f9 [• Generate monthly reports and statistics4 Y) Y" t9 {$ `3 I9 ~3 s/ F9 e
• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation5 O) \4 w$ A- b6 I7 ]$ p" R
• Process payments and complete weekly deposits
9 Y# ~& Y7 E' G• Write and revise business correspondence and forms
, ~! y( U( D/ y: w! _• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors
7 U9 b2 j5 q9 z8 N- S: D1 b, ]• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre: a& ?! R* w9 [7 i+ I l, H
• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

Qualifications:4 V7 R$ z2 H8 l8 b7 ]
4 R3 n1 l& x2 Q! W/ R& E4 ?• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
4 R" j) | d, F o, |/ g• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS 1 B" x& U- m- z' J. S
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
3 h) b. {: X8 U1 O• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work
$ X" l# N6 h8 n# T, a* Q( l" h* Y• Able to interact positively with a diverse population/ E t, F, [1 ^6 N& R/ v( Z; W; {
• Strong customer service skills

• Knowledge of HOMES database an asset
