The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

Reception:
- }: Y e2 v% c' j% }* H& E• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required
$ x2 M6 z B; }$ I. H' G• Answer multi line telephone system

. p: G P: O- @6 F& ~• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads3 ^* ?- a0 S* r- y; u J
• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits4 e* Q6 O. j7 V, _7 C0 n9 X3 f
• Input and manage high volume of data3 ?$ a3 s/ C9 u1 z, D. z
• Update and maintain databases
7 ^! L6 v5 G! d! [5 v8 [• Generate monthly reports and statistics0 y) g2 ?% s/ _0 g
• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation
3 n# G: W0 U! S, [% r& O• Process payments and complete weekly deposits
) ^9 i N2 r- j K; U• Write and revise business correspondence and forms9 }/ y/ v$ M* M- w% W% W! Y
• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors3 ?: H7 [, U9 M" L; n
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre. Z$ E6 H' ~. F: ?
• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients8 G$ B% Z5 [: \9 p$ W6 W" V* j, { w, N

Qualifications:
# b4 h! | n& n2 _2 w& S, q/ v% ~
• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
) Z7 h! l! Q( {: I• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS . i. c: D8 ^+ {5 d
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
2 B6 \" U. l( {! h• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work7 h0 s6 t/ n# M2 m# d0 Y0 X" t
• Able to interact positively with a diverse population
+ }0 e2 G$ d% P0 x+ f5 T• Strong customer service skills

• Knowledge of HOMES database an asset
