The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

* |* N2 q; P* [ T- a/ uThis is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.

, R% c% E4 W1 s7 n4 a• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required
+ o* k& V. [$ p6 b• Answer multi line telephone system

Administration:6 J3 B& c/ Y0 A3 N
• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads
( j' I+ d# e- S) g$ _• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits, E+ K! k7 V7 W9 I
• Input and manage high volume of data+ A1 c# l! w% i- i4 a
• Update and maintain databases& Y+ y- Q( i3 q2 B N0 v
• Generate monthly reports and statistics5 Z4 c% z3 F$ g) [8 T% N" o' J
• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation
. x+ w! H2 V' z& W8 w2 u" ]• Process payments and complete weekly deposits
9 F5 a, l* ^# f+ ^# C/ C2 f• Write and revise business correspondence and forms
% v& L% m- h& p* t8 ^! a• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors, S m5 s, z. F4 n
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre+ R* D8 b( U0 T9 _! N2 R3 p% k
• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
+ {2 C$ T1 @! I2 W& v- G/ _• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS . ?8 e- c2 q! X7 Y+ S+ O# f
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
; @' K# P" D+ \+ W8 E; I• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work& \! c! s. e7 v
• Able to interact positively with a diverse population: W$ r/ J9 L& Z' n
• Strong customer service skills
: H0 V: q3 c U( f! Y• Strong organizational skills and abilities
