Major Responsibilities:
! p1 o. Y7 a% P+ u% d/ d# b3 L8 ?$ P4 J•        Process research equipment design;
•        Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;
•        Equipment fabrication guidance;
4 A3 t9 U# G( o' Y/ @7 [•        Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;
•        Others.

Qualifications:
( V1 E. G6 p) ^& q" q# ]5 T•        Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months.
•        Equipment design experience is required;
•        Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;
, Q* x/ V0 b( \. ]•        Familiar with CAD software;
•        Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;
' N$ w, ?$ v2 b•        Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.

0 ]( ^/ t) f1 n; i/ l8 rSuccessful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term.
