Major Responsibilities:5 R3 ^2 G- E' O. W5 J5 O- e
• Process research equipment design;
, N! D$ X4 ]! g; j9 h0 u/ L5 t4 x• Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;
9 Z) q- x3 Y% n7 ]• Equipment fabrication guidance;" }8 v* J2 i$ T d& a v
• Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;2 c, m3 }$ s8 y; s8 v2 y
• Others.8 x+ W& k. X4 A; Y4 Q. W/ ]

Qualifications: P# m( y; T8 F) F5 v- b! e& c
• Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months.
% p, f) ?0 t; m$ P( G6 l• Equipment design experience is required;
$ |$ k- L1 w0 q* x& i6 r8 c• Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;4 ~5 A$ L- Y; Z. e
• Familiar with CAD software;
. H- W/ A4 k1 e5 f• Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;
9 k# R1 N* `* s$ `• Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.8 \2 A4 c6 ~; T) I* {

( [* S+ I) R9 ?7 pSuccessful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term. 6 t6 x: r+ n9 O: P' X
