• Process research equipment design;# S# d0 K1 z/ H5 p a, }7 ], C" ~& R
• Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;4 l/ c" h$ q) w. w1 k: Y4 ]+ @
• Equipment fabrication guidance;4 B& N8 W7 U2 q$ u% z# S+ o; ~( R
• Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;" `# A! M; K% \. o

$ A4 \# \+ I; }; p8 S5 zQualifications:
& g% j' O; B' P' c1 V D/ v9 E• Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months. ) [4 H& T) L( u [
• Equipment design experience is required;
3 J* _- Y$ |1 G• Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;5 f( J, r! j; z8 Q) t: t5 S# `9 U
• Familiar with CAD software;5 S- }# e+ ^/ s& S1 u2 j
• Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;, S6 x; {4 D: d4 \2 z! s
• Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.

Successful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term. - w I$ Y4 Y. m+ | {3 ~ G
