• Process research equipment design;
! l- t1 A, j+ [) a5 X8 w% l6 e• Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;
. z( ^* g4 Z) w( v1 M• Equipment fabrication guidance;
, b1 Z* T8 N$ b9 W; O, S6 m• Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;

1 S" m) C7 x+ oQualifications:
( c4 [: H8 e: X9 a6 C1 l1 v2 F+ @* K• Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months.
* R; S& T# E& s- c2 r# R• Equipment design experience is required;5 G' ^$ n: L; I, {' Y$ z+ P
• Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;/ C' B/ x8 ~5 j( F5 h' D" ]; B8 Z
• Familiar with CAD software;
6 @- H& i) N; T$ v+ J• Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;3 f0 f; \4 ^- U! K$ k0 j5 N! S5 m" {+ J
• Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.

Compensation:" Y3 h, e% N* W' j
Successful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term.
