 Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.) B1 U$ e# c7 u8 J" f1 I: q/ B' [
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.

 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.

 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.

Qualifications:
, W- f* J2 A N. P9 o. x7 B- j9 Y7 N& x+ W# {
 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
& a( z' G2 e4 x Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
/ `8 t, s/ h6 b1 h Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
( k; \1 A# O* ?8 ]" {$ T Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
j" [/ N3 x- }8 y Knowledge of community resources.
7 [6 e6 e3 m4 B% Z7 g Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.6 a/ d" g" K T6 ^3 K& f
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training. 6 _' y6 l% c+ v9 h8 i

Position:
) \* M1 x S0 W Y0 m7 z5 ?This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50;
8 O" D( w5 v/ }- Gstarting January 2006. There is a 3-month probationary period.
