Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
+ R# f5 h5 J# a0 u. r  l# R- kment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
0 F5 ?5 m2 M6 B/ RThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
. K6 t/ L# Y% L$ F* qthe organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
' ]* D6 P+ K! r% k. \7 o- _1 j. uŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
% H% x, ]6 K' p/ }8 X, OŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
# ~) t# e$ ^' v. B3 G5 dimplementing staff wellness programs;
' Y, z7 N5 _" Z: t, y0 h: e; hŸ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
0 ?: M  M. Q4 ?  dŸ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
: {& \7 x6 k  _9 q% W& fŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
0 m! W9 n- n! v. p9 PŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
; j  `" C. j6 @6 N$ z; U- U7 GŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
& \- w, m0 Z1 Q. b; `Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
3 v# z& d* ?) gŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
1 P7 H, `1 I9 L# t3 E; lverbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
