Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
+ a+ S4 ?/ k1 V3 h) a( wManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
2 j# w1 C) n: P2 L; s6 l' D* QThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
6 ]) I* k  p. L% n( m- }, Y0 dthe organization;
0 d) c* m1 J3 c- F" ]3 e$ o, o/ }Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
( X: h$ M# W$ r8 iŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
  v0 a4 I' e! C) _Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
' L% z6 m& L+ T& nimplementing staff wellness programs;
. L! x) ^8 l  S5 ?Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
3 N7 K  j  I& VŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
7 t' ^/ |& m/ Z9 o) l3 [/ ?Ÿ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
( v+ z" ^, E( W# b6 \% k1 ~Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
# O! C( h1 C/ I6 [# k) i& ?Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
4 b/ J; v8 w$ H2 ^$ V4 QŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
9 |; E) z! R7 A7 m. ~7 ]Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
  X: k8 k+ p5 D! o/ V1 ^$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
