Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
) E. @. p% A" x( B# Q: }Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
8 s( x& c& g1 ~  JŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
the organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
9 z) h6 b  L" a) H3 Q' v* ~3 rŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
* i0 z4 e, s* ]$ V" Ximplementing staff wellness programs;
* L0 t6 ]  z7 sŸ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
! z. B+ t; ]+ n% @) X/ wŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
! l0 J; d5 T* \! q1 C. JŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
8 d5 @' `: r0 s# S9 A" tŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both

$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.

/ {/ \( r2 @4 }successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
