Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
8 W( I3 P7 ], ~- o! g9 xment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
9 Q$ L5 E6 X! g! l3 k2 OThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
2 b3 N" \$ g. `+ R$ u) |$ f2 E& Rthe organization;
; e" K5 s9 w9 b" C4 f# G8 yŸ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
. ^& ~) B# R) w. k2 q  sŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
. x. F" m5 q* d- `7 U  [, aŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
0 D# T; T  G: @5 H/ r+ Y; \! {' vŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
% n9 c4 |* K0 h, @( xŸ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
8 a. ]3 ]" A2 F- k' yŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
$ @' Y" ]# {8 [9 |! T. u2 m/ a- ]. keducation and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
6 J5 @0 J6 ^7 }$ {* e; RŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
: [1 N) D6 U& q& T) H$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
