Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
) Y7 r+ q; A5 {" R2 Iment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
# ^5 f  ^" o2 s& L% ?! `Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
the organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
  Y+ ^0 G( u$ nsupport;
8 }3 s$ v7 Y4 A5 TŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
4 ?- E7 t, h2 m3 k0 Nimplementing staff wellness programs;
  C/ c! J* \3 |, ZŸ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
/ a# W2 J5 u1 s6 \: ]5 l, \! P/ jŸ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.

6 M0 A  H: q  yŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
6 \, D' O* v) N3 e5 Q( \education and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
  ?% W# J+ a8 T6 \9 `8 @% [% Q3 Gverbal and written.
* g: j0 q9 j4 j  h' m" A9 }Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
