Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
9 l& X% j+ O# E. m- |: I+ w2 ^5 nment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
6 }. G! W, w% D5 F+ F4 zŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
) x6 o6 K" T, v* ~  u+ @. w$ Gthe organization;
7 Z" G- v1 [. K& e8 g4 }% EŸ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
3 O: ?; ]. ]) X: e: S9 j& SŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
& m, |* R  `+ u! J& T1 iŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
$ K6 ~  {/ N/ |* U4 X/ MŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
: b! e' ^) f$ MQualifications:
Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
3 O! ^9 s5 U1 v* _Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
5 \" B/ Q0 X- N0 M) l. ZŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
( ~8 Z8 @5 |4 O3 oŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
. b" w. j) ^) w7 f, e4 L* J) i4 ~& a1 d1 Hverbal and written.
: a; F4 n5 E! m& L) I, S) ^Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
