Duties
$ z4 R2 U4 ~2 F( \Supports a team that is responsible for developing and maintaining desktop and on-line applications using Oracle databases, Oracle tools (Forms and Reports 6i), and Java in various flavors
Modifies forms and reports according to client specifications
Creates and modifies web-based front ends using Java, JSP and Struts
8 y. {( h9 }5 FAssists in the conversion of applications from older Oracle tools to an Oracle Application Server environment
; a& G0 r, j1 v* {% A8 }# @Qualifications
- |9 Q, i! n+ n4 qB.Sc. in Computing Science; equivalent experience considered
+ }9 Y5 c/ p! p: b9 q5 rSeveral years related experience in a similar environment
Knowledge and experience in Java, JSP, Struts, Eclipse, Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle Forms/Reports 6i
Knowledge and exposure to Oracle Application Server Enterprise Edition 10g and Oracle Forms and Reports 10g would be a definite asset
; N# u7 e; z: R- \+ G6 ]Excellent communication (oral and written), organizational and time management skills, accuracy and attention to detail
Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills, strong commitment to client service, and a professional and positive approach
Able to work independently with minimal supervision and thrive in a highly dynamic, energetic and demanding team
