Our Instructor/Facilitators provide meaningful learning experiences to our customers. Qualifications that we typically look for in our team members include:
" N4 V( _& G* |: R& V; ?) C0 \3 EPost-Secondary education in Career Development, Human Resources, Social Sciences or related fields.
% d5 C5 v8 g/ l9 P1 EAdult education background
: p5 p* h$ ?0 ?& u% F7 aExperience in providing a variety of workshops in the areas of personal and professional development
Ability to deliver workshops for persons requiring specialized services
2 G8 n* X. [- H/ {. jExperience in facilitating group interaction and providing coaching with a client-centered focus
Extensive knowledge of the Edmonton and area labour market and the business and education communities
Computer proficiency
% {7 }$ ]; ]3 ?3 M" dStrong writing, editing and proofreading skills
Understanding of the role of facilitator, the stages of group development, group roles and group leadership theories
Demonstrate techniques used in structuring group activities
