Our Employment/Career Counselors provide professional support and assistance to our customers as they work towards meeting their employment needs. Qualifications that we typically look for in our team members include:
5 u, ]. K( k$ IPost-Secondary education in career development, human resources or related fields ' T w/ t3 W: J# u6 t
Understanding of, and demonstrated application of, the employment/Career counselling/coaching role
I. c2 b$ y+ c3 lExperience working with clients experiencing difficulty securing employment and a commitment to motivate and encourage such participants
; n" ]! b. P& G# f3 mExcellent communication and negotiation skills ( P6 a- A3 ~, I# T5 e% F: G
Experience in providing information in a group session and/or individually for one to one appointments . a) d* {- b% X2 v, F& B- E0 f7 K
Current knowledge of greater Edmonton labour market
