1. Availability of the reservation service: The Parks Canada Campground Reservation Service & f4 c# R# T. r2 p" M6 J
is available to all campers by telephone at 1-877-RESERVE (1-877-737-3783) between
" |8 ?( K- e0 q3 @! k 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. local park time or online 24-hours a day at www.pccamping.ca.
9 c' H; Y0 @' ~$ ? You can make a camping reservation from the system launch dates up until 12:00 midnight
: D' N' |' W# a R) O4 C( _ on the night prior to your arrival. Same day reservations are not accepted.
; T- o% f6 L5 l2. Times: All times quoted in these Terms of Use are the local time at the park where your
# G1 C+ d! N) l6 l0 T reservation is made (e.g. hours of operation are from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. local park* R; b8 u/ l+ g: [# i9 q
time – for a reservation made in Pacific Rim National Park Reserve in British Columbia,

3. Fees are payable when the reservation is made: Both reservation fees and camping fees are
( l% z" g6 B$ M6 \& a8 F g! r due when you make your reservation.5 V( B- Y, i. R G6 o0 {0 _ R
4. Daily entry fees: The fees paid when you make your reservation do not include your
8 w* S; }# _ T0 \* E" z- f/ }; O national park daily entry fees. You will be required to pay these daily entry fees upon
6 s9 P1 E( c* o# C1 j arrival at the park.+ T& W( `( H' G# Z! r% r9 v) W
5. Reservation fees: The reservation fee is non-refundable and covers the operating cost of) H/ v1 l1 O; U3 I( }8 L# h
the Parks Canada Reservation Service. This fee is charged per stay. A stay is defined as
8 n$ F& f% t Z6 a3 Y6 `' o2 ] a series of consecutive nights (not exceeding the maximum length of stay) in the same
! O% y# W% s W2 T# M$ O campground. The fee to make a reservation is $10.80.. s: O) Z0 X7 ?3 f% S
6. Camping fees: Camping fees are the fees paid for use of the campsite. They are charged on( o `) N5 D( h5 Q) @
a per night basis and the price is dependent on: the park; the campground; the type of' @( }5 n& D! n% I9 B
campsite; and the service type. 5 B& n2 H$ Q \$ A
7. Changes and cancellations: Fees are also charged if you change or cancel a previously
4 _2 c, n1 r1 g# \, T# E Q confirmed reservation. The fee for each change or cancellation is $8.80 and is non-refundable.; F( U8 t, v2 |
These fees, along with any additional costs for camping, are due when you make the& A% P& `: s" s) i6 |
change or cancellation.

Methods of Payment

8. Methods of payment: All costs incurred through the use of this service can be paid by

9. Certified cheques and international money orders: Certified cheques and international

payment cannot be made on-line. When this method of payment is used, campsite reservations
) x& g2 t, \* e9 ~ will not be confirmed until the payment is received and processed.
3 U- Q" h( Y3 e0 P All reservations using certified cheques or international money orders must be made at
4 i# G F/ R( m2 w least 35 days prior to your date of arrival at the campground. Payment must be received
( d" x. d& @$ r9 \7 u( y for processing no later than 21 days from the date that the reservation was made.

Confirmation

10. Confirmation number: A confirmation number will be provided at the end of every completed5 G4 F6 g5 Q3 O; I
reservation. If you do not receive a confirmation number, your reservation is not complete. . H, ?! R& l7 _* Z
- j, c Z0 V% ?" g$ z3 ] It is important that you take note of this confirmation number and bring it with you to
% W B7 H! b0 r0 G the campground. It is must be given to Parks Canada staff so that they can register you$ Q" H7 v8 \5 E7 D8 I. E$ p, v
into the campground.

9 g3 ?& a Y5 y; I8 F For reservations made by telephone, you have the option of providing an email address: f9 D" _0 @; u/ H' R/ p3 C
to receive an electronic confirmation, and/or you may want to write down the confirmation/ P9 w$ W- E& {/ d
number when you receive it verbally from the Customer Service Associate.

11. Changes before check-in: You can change your reservation until 2:00 p.m. (local park time); C# h( S. J/ r" I0 N c
on your scheduled day of arrival. Changes may include changes in date, campground (within
7 U/ k, C# B1 p' M: T e, V3 y; W/ x the same national park), campsite type, service type, etc. Changes can be made online U, W8 D* t0 Q6 |6 D9 q' \
or by telephone. You will be charged a fee of $8.80 to make a change.5 @1 ?2 V6 U/ U. }+ @: M4 ^% H
12. Cancellations before check-in: Cancellations can be done online or by telephone. You6 N& ^2 `$ \, k0 B$ y) h
will be charged a fee of $8.80 to cancel. A reservation can be cancelled before you9 o/ e. C; k6 M' e# R {
check-in to the campground, subject to the following:
5 ?8 o5 V6 a1 `( |% [0 | - If you cancel your reservation prior to 2:00 p.m. on your scheduled day of arrival,4 r) w; C& [- m8 d( S
you will get a full refund for all of the camping fees you paid when you made your
' A5 G% |9 Z7 H) ] reservation. The original $10.80 reservation fee is non-refundable and, in addition,
0 r B: y0 C5 Q" Q3 K# N you will be charged a cancellation fee of $8.80 for this transaction.
8 }6 k( `& N- P - Cancellations made after 2:00 p.m. on your scheduled day of arrival and before
a( k1 p, V6 J5 { 11:00 a.m. on the following day will result in you losing the fees paid for one night
: T6 K. Z( @- x) R of camping. You will be refunded the fees paid for the rest of your stay. The original& r, @% u6 W1 Y' H. r" v9 C5 B: J& t
$10.80 reservation fee is non-refundable and, in addition, you will be charged a
* x0 l. J1 I8 W. M, { cancellation fee of $8.80 for this transaction.

your campsite once you are registered. It is important to note that changes cannot be
) A. {) e9 X, E$ u% X) X9 f guaranteed and can only be accommodated if a suitable campsite is available. If a change- I& Z' o# l5 U% w
is requested, there may be a difference in the new camping fee charged based on the
, ~$ j3 z8 p4 o: u services provided at the new campsite. The camping fee will be adjusted but the $8.80

14. Shortening your stay: We recognize that plans change. There is no penalty for leaving8 ?0 q7 P. W" s6 @5 S
earlier than your original day of departure, provided that you notify the campground8 h2 x% H+ R' e. j; @4 m" X7 M* w
prior to the check-out time on the day you want to leave. The $8.80 cancellation fee+ \5 i" H9 h! ]! f' }7 H
will not apply and the unused portion of your camping fees will be reimbursed. Please
% O( }/ M' r c2 K, E; P notify park staff at your earliest possible convenience if you plan on leaving early.
" {6 L8 L$ g; c1 r1 Q [9 ^ This will give other campers an opportunity to enjoy the park.

! S' |: d% i F; }' k/ X15. Late Arrivals – Notification on the day of arrival until 11:00 a.m. the day after the

& e; Q0 P1 E2 S- l on the day of arrival, but you still wish to retain your reservation, you must contact
" B+ L9 `! E$ b the park office. If you do not know the telephone number for the park,; x& x0 G; @# m% e
call 1-877-RESERVE (1-877-737-3783).: b3 z* t6 a. O3 |5 \. _
16. Late Arrivals – Notification after 11:00 a.m. the day after the expected day of arrival:9 ~5 k9 [: l/ k
If you are not able to make it to the campground before 11:00 a.m. the day after your5 j2 D: }+ U3 s. u6 v: d; y
expected day of arrival, and you have not notified us, the fees paid for your first two- {4 ~5 `* ~1 e: x2 n
nights of camping will not be refunded. You will also be considered a "No-show" (see1 f" Y% q/ c4 s9 l/ H
policy #17) and your reservation will be cancelled. Please let us know about any late K- p9 S8 ~1 v
arrivals in advance.8 u2 T9 m' v8 O! P5 {

No-Shows
& o& K' ~* i7 t9 P" c, a
! ], c; v6 _5 J17. No-shows: If you do not arrive at the campground by 11:00 a.m. on the day after your
: i& g5 c4 _- ` scheduled day of arrival, and if you have not contacted the park to inform them of" d$ S8 x0 y% i8 g4 Q
your late arrival, you will be deemed a "No-show."2 l( f, B9 E! k% k5 |! x
( f# m: e1 m$ x When you are deemed a "No-show," your reservation will be cancelled and your campsite
' s2 {0 Y, I, V: A4 p/ J will be made available to other campers.
0 z1 X$ i- v9 L- B6 u* v% R6 Z$ B4 y3 Q
If you are deemed a "No-show," you can claim your refund of the total camping fees9 E1 e5 t( R) Z0 z2 P
paid, minus a penalty of two-nights of camping and the original, non-refundable,
' K# w2 e% M% b# o5 A reservation fee of $10.80. This is provided that you contact the park within 30 days6 R' c# x# ~2 _, W
of your originally scheduled departure date.

Thirty days after your originally scheduled departure date your camping fees become

18. Closures: If Parks Canada must close a campsite or a campground for operational reasons,
