1. Availability of the reservation service: The Parks Canada Campground Reservation Service

; I. k. e* }" ^ 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. local park time or online 24-hours a day at www.pccamping.ca.8 K/ v+ ?: Q% {" R, K5 o4 I2 X/ F
You can make a camping reservation from the system launch dates up until 12:00 midnight
. v3 U4 r1 l4 P( k7 w$ r on the night prior to your arrival. Same day reservations are not accepted.
3 @8 |" V. U* k+ U) D+ x2. Times: All times quoted in these Terms of Use are the local time at the park where your, N% b N! z7 x* R+ V8 o5 ~* b* K
reservation is made (e.g. hours of operation are from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. local park/ l/ H5 Z! F. `0 P; g) F
time – for a reservation made in Pacific Rim National Park Reserve in British Columbia,

4. Daily entry fees: The fees paid when you make your reservation do not include your
$ z0 i, @( L% [3 n- } X; t; W national park daily entry fees. You will be required to pay these daily entry fees upon6 H% s! S; `9 m. X$ o" r8 ?9 F) i. R
arrival at the park.
4 i9 k, Q5 X% _. P( s5. Reservation fees: The reservation fee is non-refundable and covers the operating cost of
; l' Y: ^ `" j: V' f the Parks Canada Reservation Service. This fee is charged per stay. A stay is defined as; s0 v8 Z6 f5 Q3 D, {- ^4 n7 p
a series of consecutive nights (not exceeding the maximum length of stay) in the same! D: |" Y2 Q- t
campground. The fee to make a reservation is $10.80.
5 m% x" O5 }4 e* f6. Camping fees: Camping fees are the fees paid for use of the campsite. They are charged on0 M# o1 i( w* x6 b4 l
a per night basis and the price is dependent on: the park; the campground; the type of
" C/ a9 U/ V' u' I6 E campsite; and the service type.
8 M* K# M2 I4 u3 [7. Changes and cancellations: Fees are also charged if you change or cancel a previously6 _. d) e, K6 }& I6 M
confirmed reservation. The fee for each change or cancellation is $8.80 and is non-refundable.
) u* _0 T: B4 F' l- R. D These fees, along with any additional costs for camping, are due when you make the( q# I6 X, o. r( T/ e6 W
change or cancellation.

Methods of Payment

8. Methods of payment: All costs incurred through the use of this service can be paid by
% A( U, l6 n" j/ a- W F credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express), certified cheque or international

" V9 H: U" r, X* M9 S3 U9. Certified cheques and international money orders: Certified cheques and international5 X& D4 f3 |: q( S
money orders are only accepted over the telephone; reservations using these forms of2 M$ }9 r! i" p$ G
payment cannot be made on-line. When this method of payment is used, campsite reservations
: \: I6 E0 D% ?5 B/ \- E& K5 d) w will not be confirmed until the payment is received and processed.
2 Y# T6 _) x% v' H- p All reservations using certified cheques or international money orders must be made at
! J- f0 E3 j) U5 ^7 z h least 35 days prior to your date of arrival at the campground. Payment must be received( n# ^; X# B% `5 o2 ^# \" A# }
for processing no later than 21 days from the date that the reservation was made.; B9 p* f2 d6 R" V
8 ?$ {# p4 A# F1 R7 I, ^ We will inform you of your confirmation number by email or by telephone once your
1 k! V& D1 R1 u0 B9 H certified cheque or international money order payment has been received and processed.

10. Confirmation number: A confirmation number will be provided at the end of every completed

. F$ _6 I `' Z0 T It is important that you take note of this confirmation number and bring it with you to
! [/ f& W T5 y4 |. v% N the campground. It is must be given to Parks Canada staff so that they can register you

9 G4 m* O# T2 j$ f* T$ p For reservations made by telephone, you have the option of providing an email address e2 w9 `/ S' B! U
to receive an electronic confirmation, and/or you may want to write down the confirmation
# C+ g n3 O: J( v number when you receive it verbally from the Customer Service Associate.4 ?+ S7 b8 b. r

For reservations made on-line, you should enter your email address to receive an% {" f, O5 E O" u
electronic copy of your confirmation. You can also print out the confirmation screen,) X9 f& z) \, f) s; w# Z

Remember that if you pay for your reservation by certified cheque or international5 I7 n0 v( V! V, A

11. Changes before check-in: You can change your reservation until 2:00 p.m. (local park time)

the same national park), campsite type, service type, etc. Changes can be made online
+ {# s8 w2 n" D5 n: U or by telephone. You will be charged a fee of $8.80 to make a change.: X$ f2 r& }# f1 \3 f B
12. Cancellations before check-in: Cancellations can be done online or by telephone. You
' e" R+ w" [# V- @. w" O8 ~ will be charged a fee of $8.80 to cancel. A reservation can be cancelled before you5 I. Z; E+ a* C5 B
check-in to the campground, subject to the following:7 U" |1 w. K4 u* t) R/ @6 ]2 ^/ F
- If you cancel your reservation prior to 2:00 p.m. on your scheduled day of arrival,2 }2 ?$ z9 a/ g4 H8 N
you will get a full refund for all of the camping fees you paid when you made your
& e3 ? p5 K! B$ k: I6 Q- R reservation. The original $10.80 reservation fee is non-refundable and, in addition,
0 @2 A7 O2 q3 H+ i9 L7 V you will be charged a cancellation fee of $8.80 for this transaction. [- s/ b6 u2 Y+ s( w6 d: n6 }
- Cancellations made after 2:00 p.m. on your scheduled day of arrival and before
! g( @+ I0 V& B9 S 11:00 a.m. on the following day will result in you losing the fees paid for one night; Y. L, h+ p. z3 V2 D3 J) K

$10.80 reservation fee is non-refundable and, in addition, you will be charged a

Changes and cancellations after check-in

your campsite once you are registered. It is important to note that changes cannot be
3 Z2 w! F& P, h9 ]8 ?3 U* M$ J1 e guaranteed and can only be accommodated if a suitable campsite is available. If a change
/ O- a- \# U, D& ^& e( |1 V# K is requested, there may be a difference in the new camping fee charged based on the( y) P w1 L+ e
services provided at the new campsite. The camping fee will be adjusted but the $8.80
$ f# O1 S) d. t9 i( F6 q change fee will not apply. Availability may be limited.$ F( M+ l; d6 @3 C" U& a
14. Shortening your stay: We recognize that plans change. There is no penalty for leaving
t8 i* T! Z( n5 o. b6 [9 L earlier than your original day of departure, provided that you notify the campground, e7 m; S6 J* z/ R, D, P( O$ ?
prior to the check-out time on the day you want to leave. The $8.80 cancellation fee
0 W, K$ B# g, T r9 L will not apply and the unused portion of your camping fees will be reimbursed. Please
( a% Q) c. E7 w k: f! q9 H notify park staff at your earliest possible convenience if you plan on leaving early.

15. Late Arrivals – Notification on the day of arrival until 11:00 a.m. the day after the

4 {% @5 G' k. y5 c2 ?% \" {6 L on the day of arrival, but you still wish to retain your reservation, you must contact3 W0 v4 n2 x" O" ^" f
the park office. If you do not know the telephone number for the park,0 U$ e/ J5 |* s" A8 y
call 1-877-RESERVE (1-877-737-3783).7 p$ ?3 V g/ Y/ K$ P4 c
16. Late Arrivals – Notification after 11:00 a.m. the day after the expected day of arrival:3 k' x6 @. q0 \
If you are not able to make it to the campground before 11:00 a.m. the day after your
4 ]) O. g: k+ F$ ]/ \* v3 C: t: y m expected day of arrival, and you have not notified us, the fees paid for your first two3 S2 l* r3 i8 x! T
nights of camping will not be refunded. You will also be considered a "No-show" (see0 J) R( p! y3 ]( R/ c& ^
policy #17) and your reservation will be cancelled. Please let us know about any late
( O' ]' ?* O- p3 r7 S# Q3 L$ L0 U arrivals in advance.

No-Shows
+ w/ v- I6 _) R. _- L- G p( Q& b. k! r8 T+ b7 w9 n0 s
17. No-shows: If you do not arrive at the campground by 11:00 a.m. on the day after your
# w* _1 o$ w1 ~+ T, |! } scheduled day of arrival, and if you have not contacted the park to inform them of
3 z4 ^) H$ ~2 F your late arrival, you will be deemed a "No-show."
/ ~! Q. Z. G( ]. o2 n7 g t' T' B, O' j8 d+ C; T
When you are deemed a "No-show," your reservation will be cancelled and your campsite& U. V: S V6 a/ E
will be made available to other campers.0 C/ m1 j# Z- r: k. S
. m# f% l. O y" n If you are deemed a "No-show," you can claim your refund of the total camping fees
9 R- |+ g. K2 A* v, G3 b" o6 T paid, minus a penalty of two-nights of camping and the original, non-refundable,/ u+ M* K2 i+ X4 t
reservation fee of $10.80. This is provided that you contact the park within 30 days* O3 r0 d7 q# ]0 f' V
of your originally scheduled departure date.

Thirty days after your originally scheduled departure date your camping fees become
