1. Availability of the reservation service: The Parks Canada Campground Reservation Service 4 I7 U7 b+ z* _" T' Q4 ]; t( O
is available to all campers by telephone at 1-877-RESERVE (1-877-737-3783) between- _$ x1 g5 k/ J; _
7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. local park time or online 24-hours a day at www.pccamping.ca.
6 U' E/ d# ^1 H You can make a camping reservation from the system launch dates up until 12:00 midnight
, J4 T( d' E% v4 { on the night prior to your arrival. Same day reservations are not accepted. ! R1 `/ o8 a1 _2 a/ a
2. Times: All times quoted in these Terms of Use are the local time at the park where your
9 p5 X; U0 B# X( ^ reservation is made (e.g. hours of operation are from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. local park+ I# F/ K/ `0 Q3 V( V- L
time – for a reservation made in Pacific Rim National Park Reserve in British Columbia,

2 F1 X' }8 A) x L6 a4. Daily entry fees: The fees paid when you make your reservation do not include your
* c. N/ a* o& Q national park daily entry fees. You will be required to pay these daily entry fees upon( D6 X; o z, a+ ]
arrival at the park.
9 y! F% _: z* m0 U, b5. Reservation fees: The reservation fee is non-refundable and covers the operating cost of
% V- h3 }+ ?4 N' I! Q the Parks Canada Reservation Service. This fee is charged per stay. A stay is defined as
/ t, ?- D g5 F6 c& b a series of consecutive nights (not exceeding the maximum length of stay) in the same
/ e5 V$ t3 q( T$ l2 _: u campground. The fee to make a reservation is $10.80.
8 D$ V. ~, `7 z, ]" \6. Camping fees: Camping fees are the fees paid for use of the campsite. They are charged on* z& f2 O1 g/ Q1 R* K. ]% H
a per night basis and the price is dependent on: the park; the campground; the type of2 z0 i7 K6 o0 M$ o( O* M
campsite; and the service type.
. O% t: s$ F/ t# G( I7. Changes and cancellations: Fees are also charged if you change or cancel a previously
* ]+ b& @: Z6 V confirmed reservation. The fee for each change or cancellation is $8.80 and is non-refundable.
# o4 T9 \& u1 m8 m These fees, along with any additional costs for camping, are due when you make the( N. F, x7 a/ o. e5 z# P
change or cancellation.

9. Certified cheques and international money orders: Certified cheques and international/ P4 q+ s; W8 [/ A2 O3 ^' ~& E
money orders are only accepted over the telephone; reservations using these forms of7 k) D3 H3 K, M7 i9 Z' Q
payment cannot be made on-line. When this method of payment is used, campsite reservations1 X7 `8 T+ H0 y# B" p+ e

All reservations using certified cheques or international money orders must be made at( J# e& {+ h x9 O' a; K
least 35 days prior to your date of arrival at the campground. Payment must be received# }* i3 [8 p' e) L+ }; d& D
for processing no later than 21 days from the date that the reservation was made.

10. Confirmation number: A confirmation number will be provided at the end of every completed; P7 ~1 c A5 Q! ~
reservation. If you do not receive a confirmation number, your reservation is not complete. $ u5 O h( a. V" @' D4 `
5 a' @7 Z9 c/ y3 ~' S It is important that you take note of this confirmation number and bring it with you to

For reservations made on-line, you should enter your email address to receive an

on your scheduled day of arrival. Changes may include changes in date, campground (within
* y9 T0 N; E- E the same national park), campsite type, service type, etc. Changes can be made online! X: n6 S j, W5 P$ B z
or by telephone. You will be charged a fee of $8.80 to make a change.5 L6 F3 S' n! E6 s. Y/ i; k
12. Cancellations before check-in: Cancellations can be done online or by telephone. You
8 a% E7 A& Y' i: r0 k will be charged a fee of $8.80 to cancel. A reservation can be cancelled before you
; n2 e' n% S- T0 h check-in to the campground, subject to the following:5 e- b# _! y/ l; n8 ]2 F
- If you cancel your reservation prior to 2:00 p.m. on your scheduled day of arrival,# Z/ Y6 i* Y) ?9 w
you will get a full refund for all of the camping fees you paid when you made your* e. _. r, N' L1 H* N, [
reservation. The original $10.80 reservation fee is non-refundable and, in addition, p8 B* S- h( p9 L* z
you will be charged a cancellation fee of $8.80 for this transaction.- |4 P0 ?. Y9 R% R6 z; s, m
- Cancellations made after 2:00 p.m. on your scheduled day of arrival and before* X& z" U6 x! t$ ~
11:00 a.m. on the following day will result in you losing the fees paid for one night' \9 \/ k) \% g6 \+ F
of camping. You will be refunded the fees paid for the rest of your stay. The original1 ~0 H9 k# o) }
$10.80 reservation fee is non-refundable and, in addition, you will be charged a6 l1 U$ {2 O: O; S' [9 B
cancellation fee of $8.80 for this transaction.

13. Changes after check-in: We will do our best to accommodate any changes you request to, d6 D. Z7 n' S! _5 i
your campsite once you are registered. It is important to note that changes cannot be; B9 R; N- E) Q0 K! z L- V
guaranteed and can only be accommodated if a suitable campsite is available. If a change
& w( n- l. R) g% m5 | is requested, there may be a difference in the new camping fee charged based on the& C% f# Q! Z* ^& R9 Q! \
services provided at the new campsite. The camping fee will be adjusted but the $8.80
9 ], P0 Z' z% `; p" o change fee will not apply. Availability may be limited.
# M3 e+ ]/ l# S) M! L/ ]14. Shortening your stay: We recognize that plans change. There is no penalty for leaving" @2 H5 Z5 W' \! U( z( V, j K; ~
earlier than your original day of departure, provided that you notify the campground% G4 g# S$ Z! k Z$ s8 L2 e8 z. D0 P8 ]
prior to the check-out time on the day you want to leave. The $8.80 cancellation fee0 i0 }8 S! z G& \7 T' r
will not apply and the unused portion of your camping fees will be reimbursed. Please; v: f0 ^# Z) b( U `7 ^
notify park staff at your earliest possible convenience if you plan on leaving early.3 s% ?6 ^5 n6 ` Y

15. Late Arrivals – Notification on the day of arrival until 11:00 a.m. the day after the! K7 O" J) V* d! s! B& ?9 g
expected day of arrival: If you are not going to be able to arrive at the campground
* \) X( D$ J/ L3 \/ i+ i1 O on the day of arrival, but you still wish to retain your reservation, you must contact% U' m8 }- }4 U4 R: P' q. q; s" U
the park office. If you do not know the telephone number for the park,
) j: j7 z" x4 ? call 1-877-RESERVE (1-877-737-3783).
. i$ Z6 G. X2 [. j+ i16. Late Arrivals – Notification after 11:00 a.m. the day after the expected day of arrival:3 ]7 v1 b8 h/ ~
If you are not able to make it to the campground before 11:00 a.m. the day after your5 ]# o" L! A* ~# J% u& f
expected day of arrival, and you have not notified us, the fees paid for your first two* ^4 d( C8 ]) k% s
nights of camping will not be refunded. You will also be considered a "No-show" (see
7 U4 |5 v8 e2 B, G. B policy #17) and your reservation will be cancelled. Please let us know about any late) q6 ^* l0 N+ I# Z; p- v. y* `& E
arrivals in advance.

( m, d6 a+ o x: \8 L/ b17. No-shows: If you do not arrive at the campground by 11:00 a.m. on the day after your

' F% o& {! a; d8 A your late arrival, you will be deemed a "No-show."

When you are deemed a "No-show," your reservation will be cancelled and your campsite6 I( r* C5 L9 F0 S8 b. E" M" q

$ T4 R6 H2 m5 U2 l+ E0 N7 R9 Z6 [ If you are deemed a "No-show," you can claim your refund of the total camping fees
