General Terms of Use

1. Availability of the reservation service: The Parks Canada Campground Reservation Service
) c# K3 d4 ?7 G& a6 i4 e7 _ is available to all campers by telephone at 1-877-RESERVE (1-877-737-3783) between! ^0 H2 b6 @3 j( v2 e8 C2 ^, [
7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. local park time or online 24-hours a day at www.pccamping.ca.; A g9 N, Y% u/ E% @1 }7 }# F( V* p
You can make a camping reservation from the system launch dates up until 12:00 midnight
6 i# G0 |2 r5 Z4 I2 O i5 m on the night prior to your arrival. Same day reservations are not accepted. ' A3 Q/ X) w- Z2 G
2. Times: All times quoted in these Terms of Use are the local time at the park where your/ A# K: q* {5 s. E+ T5 _* e, c
reservation is made (e.g. hours of operation are from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. local park

3. Fees are payable when the reservation is made: Both reservation fees and camping fees are7 L$ Y5 _3 A. x7 @

4. Daily entry fees: The fees paid when you make your reservation do not include your
h7 H, l+ ]9 f. Q national park daily entry fees. You will be required to pay these daily entry fees upon
0 J9 O* s7 |2 |$ y/ u& l3 X4 }7 { arrival at the park.
% i" M' _; E! t, \' j5. Reservation fees: The reservation fee is non-refundable and covers the operating cost of) `/ m* b" @% B: _5 ~
the Parks Canada Reservation Service. This fee is charged per stay. A stay is defined as8 H' L- G4 ]7 W5 Q$ K3 T; z4 {6 z
a series of consecutive nights (not exceeding the maximum length of stay) in the same
5 |- l" T9 S4 @; L8 }) f$ N8 g campground. The fee to make a reservation is $10.80.
5 C$ [$ m- d$ z) P6. Camping fees: Camping fees are the fees paid for use of the campsite. They are charged on
9 ^- C( s5 A- u. p a per night basis and the price is dependent on: the park; the campground; the type of
0 t+ E+ r+ A7 L9 N0 U campsite; and the service type. ( h# K M% ` i. ]( f3 D; r5 i# e" f
7. Changes and cancellations: Fees are also charged if you change or cancel a previously" q* R* h% |7 E9 P \' b
confirmed reservation. The fee for each change or cancellation is $8.80 and is non-refundable.' _- N/ ^# O; K0 o' b T
These fees, along with any additional costs for camping, are due when you make the

credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express), certified cheque or international

( N0 s0 q/ F3 C, J9 l' l9. Certified cheques and international money orders: Certified cheques and international
a( W4 B+ E h: x! j, ^* w1 k money orders are only accepted over the telephone; reservations using these forms of
; T3 o" }# z1 C2 O payment cannot be made on-line. When this method of payment is used, campsite reservations
7 d) U0 q2 w' {( G3 ~+ [/ n& \ will not be confirmed until the payment is received and processed.
+ O8 \/ _* q8 u All reservations using certified cheques or international money orders must be made at' B I5 H# o- q
least 35 days prior to your date of arrival at the campground. Payment must be received

10. Confirmation number: A confirmation number will be provided at the end of every completed

12. Cancellations before check-in: Cancellations can be done online or by telephone. You
- T _: ~# b, G will be charged a fee of $8.80 to cancel. A reservation can be cancelled before you

- If you cancel your reservation prior to 2:00 p.m. on your scheduled day of arrival,) y/ K4 A: p. y2 f9 r, ^
you will get a full refund for all of the camping fees you paid when you made your
1 H! p/ Y" e9 e reservation. The original $10.80 reservation fee is non-refundable and, in addition,; C7 u- W \5 l! ?! ^
you will be charged a cancellation fee of $8.80 for this transaction.
& t% l. I+ A; Z5 W - Cancellations made after 2:00 p.m. on your scheduled day of arrival and before
6 O' s/ s' q& f+ {/ q 11:00 a.m. on the following day will result in you losing the fees paid for one night& k2 i5 D$ @# Y& r
of camping. You will be refunded the fees paid for the rest of your stay. The original& j% [7 }3 z! E
$10.80 reservation fee is non-refundable and, in addition, you will be charged a

13. Changes after check-in: We will do our best to accommodate any changes you request to
& b& s* k& s6 j your campsite once you are registered. It is important to note that changes cannot be5 l6 }; \! M2 ?1 [) |7 g
guaranteed and can only be accommodated if a suitable campsite is available. If a change `$ h5 A4 E0 }: N; y; X
is requested, there may be a difference in the new camping fee charged based on the
4 [6 `9 j: H- c' m9 f/ V6 U services provided at the new campsite. The camping fee will be adjusted but the $8.80
: R5 x2 L& V2 S; F+ l# S/ ^' x change fee will not apply. Availability may be limited.
+ Y) \) j& F# p+ n$ @6 y- s14. Shortening your stay: We recognize that plans change. There is no penalty for leaving
& v% e- b; d( _" { earlier than your original day of departure, provided that you notify the campground, p, ?, Y. n* c! X9 a8 W
prior to the check-out time on the day you want to leave. The $8.80 cancellation fee/ ]' R6 `( B0 u# ?
will not apply and the unused portion of your camping fees will be reimbursed. Please

15. Late Arrivals – Notification on the day of arrival until 11:00 a.m. the day after the" V3 l; u) z/ f( O5 i
expected day of arrival: If you are not going to be able to arrive at the campground( a. r& x) G. {# T2 M0 q( S$ t4 F) C
on the day of arrival, but you still wish to retain your reservation, you must contact
8 l) G' ]/ \5 {2 u' V: C the park office. If you do not know the telephone number for the park,
+ U. {/ L8 C9 {/ n call 1-877-RESERVE (1-877-737-3783).8 m! X( {/ B6 \; l# o
16. Late Arrivals – Notification after 11:00 a.m. the day after the expected day of arrival:# Q2 U! a z7 @, `
If you are not able to make it to the campground before 11:00 a.m. the day after your8 u3 h: ?; k1 ~; K" G6 @
expected day of arrival, and you have not notified us, the fees paid for your first two# m- Q7 B- V. f2 \8 J1 H0 [" f, m
nights of camping will not be refunded. You will also be considered a "No-show" (see( O( ]. I1 Y2 g" h& M4 a' d
policy #17) and your reservation will be cancelled. Please let us know about any late& O; H+ q$ }# [" ?4 U {6 t, J
arrivals in advance.

No-Shows

17. No-shows: If you do not arrive at the campground by 11:00 a.m. on the day after your
0 Q. Q3 A a/ x5 r scheduled day of arrival, and if you have not contacted the park to inform them of4 `0 _0 k- Y2 A
your late arrival, you will be deemed a "No-show."
" j9 w2 h$ V) z" v6 I8 M h: p" P6 d5 t& b% D$ [
When you are deemed a "No-show," your reservation will be cancelled and your campsite% v) K$ D9 Y) W2 m6 s& y# K
will be made available to other campers. z% v( g- O# r% @$ O4 E! K

If you are deemed a "No-show," you can claim your refund of the total camping fees
9 ]5 k. }/ x4 I paid, minus a penalty of two-nights of camping and the original, non-refundable,0 v0 k7 m, K9 a& `# A0 z- e V# Y- s
reservation fee of $10.80. This is provided that you contact the park within 30 days7 }4 i7 B U. d8 s$ n' F/ }2 B
of your originally scheduled departure date.
