1. Availability of the reservation service: The Parks Canada Campground Reservation Service
# X0 a; g& d3 R( Q& l) V- T is available to all campers by telephone at 1-877-RESERVE (1-877-737-3783) between
& e S# C$ b; U$ T5 r( z. Z 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. local park time or online 24-hours a day at www.pccamping.ca." b* z9 I8 Z# T6 ]
You can make a camping reservation from the system launch dates up until 12:00 midnight; A/ Z* X7 x9 i1 H8 B7 d. G4 N) b
on the night prior to your arrival. Same day reservations are not accepted. 1 |( h+ |% c* _+ \3 V
2. Times: All times quoted in these Terms of Use are the local time at the park where your/ U& J$ b) m% I5 V! }. i% A2 d
reservation is made (e.g. hours of operation are from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. local park, h$ A- U7 C9 V ]3 Z; z v) `; Q( V

4. Daily entry fees: The fees paid when you make your reservation do not include your
9 I+ `1 r+ ~' }2 R- E( x0 _2 O national park daily entry fees. You will be required to pay these daily entry fees upon
$ L m: ~8 p( ?/ m arrival at the park.8 z5 j" ?" @3 J; }9 ^) L$ }
5. Reservation fees: The reservation fee is non-refundable and covers the operating cost of+ ^) u/ }$ q' ?! c; x1 [, ^
the Parks Canada Reservation Service. This fee is charged per stay. A stay is defined as
" P( a7 f- o0 G$ ]6 z. Z/ o a series of consecutive nights (not exceeding the maximum length of stay) in the same
7 U: e* y! M/ \7 Q campground. The fee to make a reservation is $10.80.
; J% b1 ?* l% E+ ^+ ]4 \3 f6. Camping fees: Camping fees are the fees paid for use of the campsite. They are charged on- e" m' ]' c6 t$ E
a per night basis and the price is dependent on: the park; the campground; the type of# d) _; O. Z, _- J1 t
campsite; and the service type.
1 p; y) d2 e4 E' M+ b7. Changes and cancellations: Fees are also charged if you change or cancel a previously
. ~7 e# w* N( Z) U" F confirmed reservation. The fee for each change or cancellation is $8.80 and is non-refundable." I- U7 @' \1 P$ Q9 ` [8 A2 V
These fees, along with any additional costs for camping, are due when you make the. l9 D; d/ B% f& @5 F0 |- X

8. Methods of payment: All costs incurred through the use of this service can be paid by
/ C- r8 I( x T% B credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express), certified cheque or international

u* O* J9 I3 ?! `+ n8 ?# @. f9. Certified cheques and international money orders: Certified cheques and international' n- e; ~5 |9 L7 l6 W: ?
money orders are only accepted over the telephone; reservations using these forms of
! i" @. L; b4 F* z: I* H! V8 H payment cannot be made on-line. When this method of payment is used, campsite reservations: V4 u3 l0 n. \/ Q5 v1 G1 g
will not be confirmed until the payment is received and processed. 1 x$ }& u8 A! c1 ^. B
All reservations using certified cheques or international money orders must be made at( m" p5 r4 r; m9 m+ p# C
least 35 days prior to your date of arrival at the campground. Payment must be received0 g3 u6 w( y/ ^$ b3 s$ H: B
for processing no later than 21 days from the date that the reservation was made.

2 L8 Y% k: v3 M/ S4 p% t& F- } We will inform you of your confirmation number by email or by telephone once your
3 j$ \/ _8 P# y. H6 n4 ]( l$ o certified cheque or international money order payment has been received and processed.

10. Confirmation number: A confirmation number will be provided at the end of every completed

9 e' a2 ~2 ~5 T5 R% _& k5 J7 p7 U. I It is important that you take note of this confirmation number and bring it with you to* ?( [7 H" m! f2 C; O- R- N) G% o
the campground. It is must be given to Parks Canada staff so that they can register you
$ n0 B i- [; M1 v7 }, p into the campground.

For reservations made by telephone, you have the option of providing an email address. d+ i e$ J! a4 t# f0 }
to receive an electronic confirmation, and/or you may want to write down the confirmation+ \- ^2 q$ G" O7 t5 \
number when you receive it verbally from the Customer Service Associate.8 _4 l: b- e% i. p

For reservations made on-line, you should enter your email address to receive an

Remember that if you pay for your reservation by certified cheque or international3 Q0 C4 l/ m( I, F

Changes and cancellations before check-in " ?1 v+ a$ m+ E& L

11. Changes before check-in: You can change your reservation until 2:00 p.m. (local park time)
# |/ C/ s* P) \ on your scheduled day of arrival. Changes may include changes in date, campground (within
5 S- F$ b) W' G* I: v the same national park), campsite type, service type, etc. Changes can be made online
9 ]' b1 ?3 j" t/ r* c or by telephone. You will be charged a fee of $8.80 to make a change.
& L5 s/ B6 ^& u4 f12. Cancellations before check-in: Cancellations can be done online or by telephone. You
6 i1 \8 d! D5 x. I2 c) Q will be charged a fee of $8.80 to cancel. A reservation can be cancelled before you/ S/ W6 R: o8 L7 b
check-in to the campground, subject to the following:
' z9 X9 k/ C" p) p6 {* } - If you cancel your reservation prior to 2:00 p.m. on your scheduled day of arrival,- n8 W( ?5 p$ a- K8 p
you will get a full refund for all of the camping fees you paid when you made your
% U1 |/ Q5 _' y3 O% } reservation. The original $10.80 reservation fee is non-refundable and, in addition,7 { c8 i$ ^' y! I- q' C) A% f
you will be charged a cancellation fee of $8.80 for this transaction.
, ^9 R( V& s5 B% w - Cancellations made after 2:00 p.m. on your scheduled day of arrival and before% I4 i0 I3 | U2 ?: l8 d. y8 n6 T4 m; f
11:00 a.m. on the following day will result in you losing the fees paid for one night
) N/ v9 E' ~5 P9 H of camping. You will be refunded the fees paid for the rest of your stay. The original
7 b! D! W2 D" ? $10.80 reservation fee is non-refundable and, in addition, you will be charged a
& l6 ?9 m& Z! v: p \# Q cancellation fee of $8.80 for this transaction.5 v2 `$ |8 @$ K' \1 E/ u; w$ C

13. Changes after check-in: We will do our best to accommodate any changes you request to5 r7 u, e8 {( ~4 N( t8 }" j$ F6 ~
your campsite once you are registered. It is important to note that changes cannot be! @! I8 Y: p b0 u; |
guaranteed and can only be accommodated if a suitable campsite is available. If a change
% U I0 E6 v9 h& j2 l$ S- M, S1 J is requested, there may be a difference in the new camping fee charged based on the! ?! r( P/ d: B7 h; K
services provided at the new campsite. The camping fee will be adjusted but the $8.80
3 A4 w& ^% F1 T6 R1 A3 }. ]$ s change fee will not apply. Availability may be limited.* n( y, J2 N2 }1 y, }" c$ f
14. Shortening your stay: We recognize that plans change. There is no penalty for leaving% z: f$ f6 a$ B" A: u+ K# e
earlier than your original day of departure, provided that you notify the campground( g% q* }' j% Z8 k# o
prior to the check-out time on the day you want to leave. The $8.80 cancellation fee
+ S$ G" F! n9 ?0 G) V" K4 ~2 B$ S will not apply and the unused portion of your camping fees will be reimbursed. Please
h7 P7 C- ?4 M) ?; P/ z% j4 ^# d8 y& E notify park staff at your earliest possible convenience if you plan on leaving early.

on the day of arrival, but you still wish to retain your reservation, you must contact, \: J0 g2 e# B% n/ _1 Z
the park office. If you do not know the telephone number for the park,+ e9 x0 n! Y. n& V2 s
call 1-877-RESERVE (1-877-737-3783).
% A8 M& n6 m# t" ~" W16. Late Arrivals – Notification after 11:00 a.m. the day after the expected day of arrival:9 G1 O/ g9 p4 N: R/ X/ g, ?
If you are not able to make it to the campground before 11:00 a.m. the day after your6 w# F" ]# A) d
expected day of arrival, and you have not notified us, the fees paid for your first two
# V8 r3 h: I) _# W R% u) d nights of camping will not be refunded. You will also be considered a "No-show" (see
3 q+ f3 Z3 d- {( e& s3 Q policy #17) and your reservation will be cancelled. Please let us know about any late

17. No-shows: If you do not arrive at the campground by 11:00 a.m. on the day after your
) ~) q1 ]' Y& [, e% Y9 q3 f scheduled day of arrival, and if you have not contacted the park to inform them of
7 h$ w1 n8 Y& k3 i3 z your late arrival, you will be deemed a "No-show."

When you are deemed a "No-show," your reservation will be cancelled and your campsite, W; [ D& c9 c {
will be made available to other campers.

: I- p) S0 o4 J3 R& k/ p If you are deemed a "No-show," you can claim your refund of the total camping fees
0 |- C- S# k+ u, Q" ^- c paid, minus a penalty of two-nights of camping and the original, non-refundable,
6 O& `" l" R$ z: w3 n+ x reservation fee of $10.80. This is provided that you contact the park within 30 days
# u9 y% D; |+ {9 p% z# F8 h of your originally scheduled departure date.
