7 q/ y% v5 b. K- w/ L 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. local park time or online 24-hours a day at www.pccamping.ca.5 X( l$ D7 N2 r! _3 ?% C
You can make a camping reservation from the system launch dates up until 12:00 midnight
( Y3 L" L) G6 z. Y8 c; s% H on the night prior to your arrival. Same day reservations are not accepted. , O4 L6 D8 K/ t {4 U+ q
2. Times: All times quoted in these Terms of Use are the local time at the park where your# l5 V6 C8 z( P- q T! \
reservation is made (e.g. hours of operation are from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. local park$ P, T7 y8 i1 m M1 U' [
time – for a reservation made in Pacific Rim National Park Reserve in British Columbia,

3. Fees are payable when the reservation is made: Both reservation fees and camping fees are
" U. f9 L. e6 B- D& m due when you make your reservation., W7 m* @/ Z% I$ |8 y8 i5 d& H
4. Daily entry fees: The fees paid when you make your reservation do not include your+ K" S8 O( W0 \0 y- `
national park daily entry fees. You will be required to pay these daily entry fees upon# {) t/ m8 O" m7 G7 ^: [- k
arrival at the park.7 \% {. F* m8 c- a$ K0 p# W& G
5. Reservation fees: The reservation fee is non-refundable and covers the operating cost of( K6 @1 p& F j0 F s6 b' _
the Parks Canada Reservation Service. This fee is charged per stay. A stay is defined as8 B" G7 i2 r) N1 z/ ~. E4 {+ U
a series of consecutive nights (not exceeding the maximum length of stay) in the same5 H- E! D& t" C! `6 i+ s" r
campground. The fee to make a reservation is $10.80.
6 s! E) t2 u8 F9 B6. Camping fees: Camping fees are the fees paid for use of the campsite. They are charged on( J- ^" O1 d0 S
a per night basis and the price is dependent on: the park; the campground; the type of
: Y; U3 R3 o7 D campsite; and the service type. 4 T9 m2 f0 s$ i r; y' R% B; s
7. Changes and cancellations: Fees are also charged if you change or cancel a previously
- c3 @" h! X# U& L# I; [ confirmed reservation. The fee for each change or cancellation is $8.80 and is non-refundable.
1 J( Q0 b4 h$ j) J* [ These fees, along with any additional costs for camping, are due when you make the( W% D$ _! C, Z- F# N0 T5 P

9 z$ w9 l& Q9 f8. Methods of payment: All costs incurred through the use of this service can be paid by

9. Certified cheques and international money orders: Certified cheques and international/ j; }: R" v6 \% V7 h
money orders are only accepted over the telephone; reservations using these forms of

will not be confirmed until the payment is received and processed. L, z, g8 J, I# T Y
All reservations using certified cheques or international money orders must be made at
! A9 E. |" h: O- b least 35 days prior to your date of arrival at the campground. Payment must be received7 p( d0 l" `% C( a# c( x
for processing no later than 21 days from the date that the reservation was made./ v' ?, `) _4 m% x {
D# B7 j c) M/ q) I8 g$ g# b We will inform you of your confirmation number by email or by telephone once your2 o5 w) ?2 D9 U, y0 R- S
certified cheque or international money order payment has been received and processed.

10. Confirmation number: A confirmation number will be provided at the end of every completed6 ?' f; y; r" ^, n' x* ?; g
reservation. If you do not receive a confirmation number, your reservation is not complete. / Z% m6 j1 D; A, W
! D- v, {1 @ ~3 n It is important that you take note of this confirmation number and bring it with you to5 t5 i% L8 G5 x, i
the campground. It is must be given to Parks Canada staff so that they can register you" u) J& d$ K1 ~

' W* T& D+ W- X! _ For reservations made by telephone, you have the option of providing an email address
# S M( P u3 E' N: @ to receive an electronic confirmation, and/or you may want to write down the confirmation
' E1 r. ~5 ?% N+ P/ N number when you receive it verbally from the Customer Service Associate.

For reservations made on-line, you should enter your email address to receive an, ^ U* i4 F3 A8 x3 w
electronic copy of your confirmation. You can also print out the confirmation screen,

Remember that if you pay for your reservation by certified cheque or international, Q+ `3 r: C0 u6 U

on your scheduled day of arrival. Changes may include changes in date, campground (within
; k5 V$ ]4 |6 I4 R7 F% F/ _ the same national park), campsite type, service type, etc. Changes can be made online
& {( C8 w J( x3 O or by telephone. You will be charged a fee of $8.80 to make a change., m: ]" P' ^6 B
12. Cancellations before check-in: Cancellations can be done online or by telephone. You
7 m- \3 A# X: z8 ~/ N will be charged a fee of $8.80 to cancel. A reservation can be cancelled before you
# B" Q* S3 U( q$ e: I% E check-in to the campground, subject to the following:
( K! B' E6 k. x5 {! C7 g. a- A - If you cancel your reservation prior to 2:00 p.m. on your scheduled day of arrival,
+ \* ~3 c% q0 H+ O. @8 I you will get a full refund for all of the camping fees you paid when you made your
. [3 [: B2 ?6 y& q reservation. The original $10.80 reservation fee is non-refundable and, in addition,; p8 A5 q: U$ |
you will be charged a cancellation fee of $8.80 for this transaction.
3 h# K3 X1 {' q+ {) t3 r - Cancellations made after 2:00 p.m. on your scheduled day of arrival and before9 G: G$ W! q3 a, n( v. U
11:00 a.m. on the following day will result in you losing the fees paid for one night
1 m7 C; C7 P2 ?" i+ \5 t of camping. You will be refunded the fees paid for the rest of your stay. The original0 T. _( e3 @ P4 g2 h W+ N
$10.80 reservation fee is non-refundable and, in addition, you will be charged a

! d0 P0 m; _9 h13. Changes after check-in: We will do our best to accommodate any changes you request to* q6 ?( R% I3 W- b& F3 {8 J$ T( `
your campsite once you are registered. It is important to note that changes cannot be, x# y# v7 F" D- l6 m0 ~% A$ k9 Z
guaranteed and can only be accommodated if a suitable campsite is available. If a change. w8 \1 O$ v/ `/ V" l( _
is requested, there may be a difference in the new camping fee charged based on the
1 I8 j6 Y* a& ` services provided at the new campsite. The camping fee will be adjusted but the $8.80

14. Shortening your stay: We recognize that plans change. There is no penalty for leaving
/ Q8 M4 P( s7 ^; o5 a1 d earlier than your original day of departure, provided that you notify the campground5 ]9 A% b6 K# M4 ?
prior to the check-out time on the day you want to leave. The $8.80 cancellation fee
1 g+ X& q* y6 W1 z will not apply and the unused portion of your camping fees will be reimbursed. Please) W6 e9 [2 ]* b( g, J( q! u3 S
notify park staff at your earliest possible convenience if you plan on leaving early.5 n8 l+ O% V9 i

15. Late Arrivals – Notification on the day of arrival until 11:00 a.m. the day after the8 W: J9 j, M: P: q; H6 O
expected day of arrival: If you are not going to be able to arrive at the campground
. w; N& h: `/ P7 q( ]' N on the day of arrival, but you still wish to retain your reservation, you must contact
9 h7 f; S2 Y" J% \! T" Y( F the park office. If you do not know the telephone number for the park,
; Z5 z" r9 a0 [ call 1-877-RESERVE (1-877-737-3783).
; q o" X( c$ g( b16. Late Arrivals – Notification after 11:00 a.m. the day after the expected day of arrival:
: B& X$ X, l p% Z If you are not able to make it to the campground before 11:00 a.m. the day after your
2 N6 z& C8 t) l, C- z) z& V expected day of arrival, and you have not notified us, the fees paid for your first two& p1 o2 K4 j7 A1 |+ t( @
nights of camping will not be refunded. You will also be considered a "No-show" (see$ L) {/ g% D/ q* c4 h2 l8 i( t
policy #17) and your reservation will be cancelled. Please let us know about any late* t; d/ m: [' i1 t9 j

17. No-shows: If you do not arrive at the campground by 11:00 a.m. on the day after your
/ ]# Y* U9 c" d- T/ a" c scheduled day of arrival, and if you have not contacted the park to inform them of
) Q6 H/ v9 u; C, b& e your late arrival, you will be deemed a "No-show."
# k, U& W- \ ]7 d5 a/ H( X* s$ L2 ^; y4 Y0 N
When you are deemed a "No-show," your reservation will be cancelled and your campsite; ?( j; `, x' E' h e
will be made available to other campers.; l! {2 ^ F2 m% Y+ Q5 i1 Y* G

If you are deemed a "No-show," you can claim your refund of the total camping fees
; \" X9 P" C* x# q" h0 H paid, minus a penalty of two-nights of camping and the original, non-refundable,
) S% [, ?% V% i4 j, k, y3 `& ?0 f reservation fee of $10.80. This is provided that you contact the park within 30 days
