1. Availability of the reservation service: The Parks Canada Campground Reservation Service # P' s2 s# B* P/ [' u
is available to all campers by telephone at 1-877-RESERVE (1-877-737-3783) between) N5 f# L# c' G8 ?6 h
7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. local park time or online 24-hours a day at www.pccamping.ca. D3 q% m: c, I9 e
You can make a camping reservation from the system launch dates up until 12:00 midnight
/ h, g* ~0 c9 k7 A' C4 H on the night prior to your arrival. Same day reservations are not accepted.
" f0 `2 \* v. k, _1 J0 i2. Times: All times quoted in these Terms of Use are the local time at the park where your- B6 q' U: w: u' x; }7 d! Y
reservation is made (e.g. hours of operation are from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. local park
6 \2 k2 N9 R1 k% V7 j& Y time – for a reservation made in Pacific Rim National Park Reserve in British Columbia,
5 ]- ]* n5 u7 e7 T this is 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Pacific Time but for a reservation made in Fundy National
; }- p4 o% z0 X2 M- E8 Z Park in New Brunswick, this is 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Atlantic Time).

3. Fees are payable when the reservation is made: Both reservation fees and camping fees are
& K5 h- V1 X; k) S8 l: S% P due when you make your reservation.
+ N3 R% [% Z8 b1 |4. Daily entry fees: The fees paid when you make your reservation do not include your8 T: j) Y) B% _8 u) |
national park daily entry fees. You will be required to pay these daily entry fees upon$ N* t, e. y0 P) `
arrival at the park.
$ ]% ~; O. Y: t6 k( ~" y& Y5. Reservation fees: The reservation fee is non-refundable and covers the operating cost of/ v' |$ n3 z1 T1 d7 Q0 g1 A
the Parks Canada Reservation Service. This fee is charged per stay. A stay is defined as/ ?0 L* a; P) r4 `9 ?/ ~
a series of consecutive nights (not exceeding the maximum length of stay) in the same
/ T0 H- Y$ M2 m/ K campground. The fee to make a reservation is $10.80.
% ~1 G" q h; ^9 ^- c6. Camping fees: Camping fees are the fees paid for use of the campsite. They are charged on
9 F7 R0 V7 }- d7 H a per night basis and the price is dependent on: the park; the campground; the type of; V+ Y6 ~- X. ^3 v
campsite; and the service type.
- c( x u5 o) z; _0 s/ R: Z7. Changes and cancellations: Fees are also charged if you change or cancel a previously- O5 t! D- p2 Q$ K$ r9 F' H
confirmed reservation. The fee for each change or cancellation is $8.80 and is non-refundable.! ^8 K S! v3 U" L
These fees, along with any additional costs for camping, are due when you make the4 S3 \% s; r! t7 |4 _

Methods of Payment

8. Methods of payment: All costs incurred through the use of this service can be paid by
& e" m T1 S- L$ j$ o credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express), certified cheque or international

7 F% |$ o0 w: P7 t2 \$ C" c k9. Certified cheques and international money orders: Certified cheques and international
; I5 C2 H) d3 i4 O9 Z0 ^ money orders are only accepted over the telephone; reservations using these forms of0 Y2 v: [+ H" @! p7 Z6 a( \' r
payment cannot be made on-line. When this method of payment is used, campsite reservations4 A; P' C; h3 F9 k" V
will not be confirmed until the payment is received and processed.
& u4 Y. m- ^2 r% X5 F3 e0 m All reservations using certified cheques or international money orders must be made at9 B: e0 h* T9 k8 O
least 35 days prior to your date of arrival at the campground. Payment must be received/ n/ J7 _ c, e+ p. p2 k
for processing no later than 21 days from the date that the reservation was made.

We will inform you of your confirmation number by email or by telephone once your2 _" e$ Q y+ o! {0 L

Confirmation

10. Confirmation number: A confirmation number will be provided at the end of every completed
; S2 b j% e# C3 y7 K# t reservation. If you do not receive a confirmation number, your reservation is not complete. 3 q" n0 E9 b3 w9 }8 Z. W/ [

It is important that you take note of this confirmation number and bring it with you to- x6 e; h3 ^* d. r! _3 h
the campground. It is must be given to Parks Canada staff so that they can register you8 W- _. J% d* u" Y/ Z- V
into the campground.

# i( [; A1 |2 [ For reservations made by telephone, you have the option of providing an email address& U$ {: R! [7 p7 Y- B
to receive an electronic confirmation, and/or you may want to write down the confirmation2 C! @: d6 ^! J7 i
number when you receive it verbally from the Customer Service Associate.

For reservations made on-line, you should enter your email address to receive an

11. Changes before check-in: You can change your reservation until 2:00 p.m. (local park time)" n5 |' {& g' J' S L
on your scheduled day of arrival. Changes may include changes in date, campground (within: E/ Z5 f, m8 m) @
the same national park), campsite type, service type, etc. Changes can be made online
0 b/ P* G* d: U9 G# _ or by telephone. You will be charged a fee of $8.80 to make a change., l+ S+ E% o7 f2 i4 x2 v0 F
12. Cancellations before check-in: Cancellations can be done online or by telephone. You
& |6 D( z% o- t4 q* l will be charged a fee of $8.80 to cancel. A reservation can be cancelled before you+ {9 h3 [1 }& i6 J
check-in to the campground, subject to the following:
, Z- a* ]% ?( D" i# [$ ?0 z7 J: }+ K - If you cancel your reservation prior to 2:00 p.m. on your scheduled day of arrival,
# q3 A1 I1 d- o$ V! d you will get a full refund for all of the camping fees you paid when you made your2 X6 B# S: ?& k4 d8 T
reservation. The original $10.80 reservation fee is non-refundable and, in addition,# e- O2 L) Z) x, [9 v
you will be charged a cancellation fee of $8.80 for this transaction." e2 D% L' ]! l1 k
- Cancellations made after 2:00 p.m. on your scheduled day of arrival and before$ ^; C$ r3 U# L3 D. |1 h
11:00 a.m. on the following day will result in you losing the fees paid for one night
1 y/ Y1 Z& m# e0 i, X# p of camping. You will be refunded the fees paid for the rest of your stay. The original* I3 d/ w! P2 @/ K' f3 D
$10.80 reservation fee is non-refundable and, in addition, you will be charged a5 s7 D, P# `/ D+ k" o
cancellation fee of $8.80 for this transaction.4 I6 o+ W; t* ~- T _1 `: d

13. Changes after check-in: We will do our best to accommodate any changes you request to
9 g5 h) E9 p8 J2 x. Q# a your campsite once you are registered. It is important to note that changes cannot be
X- {9 e! |# |( x- ?" O guaranteed and can only be accommodated if a suitable campsite is available. If a change! _! q8 X( M6 M* g
is requested, there may be a difference in the new camping fee charged based on the
6 x! D) V4 E# j6 E* C services provided at the new campsite. The camping fee will be adjusted but the $8.80
! d+ ^! A( F; n0 p+ ]$ F" p l. } change fee will not apply. Availability may be limited.
6 @( @$ u( a& p p" a) k14. Shortening your stay: We recognize that plans change. There is no penalty for leaving4 I( j* C/ U. P7 V
earlier than your original day of departure, provided that you notify the campground+ ~" E+ a( o7 H: S5 z
prior to the check-out time on the day you want to leave. The $8.80 cancellation fee
2 q% H7 F+ M9 z7 ` will not apply and the unused portion of your camping fees will be reimbursed. Please
- d ^2 ], n, j* I7 W$ h8 G! F notify park staff at your earliest possible convenience if you plan on leaving early.

15. Late Arrivals – Notification on the day of arrival until 11:00 a.m. the day after the
# M& @, a$ w1 i' E1 M expected day of arrival: If you are not going to be able to arrive at the campground
M" f$ i* B9 L0 o on the day of arrival, but you still wish to retain your reservation, you must contact: a: ]+ T$ R5 C- ?
the park office. If you do not know the telephone number for the park,
5 a9 z. w$ f. V& {' E* J4 X call 1-877-RESERVE (1-877-737-3783).
" W! d' W; G! m4 |+ T- b2 [8 Y16. Late Arrivals – Notification after 11:00 a.m. the day after the expected day of arrival:; K( Q, ]) b# |& R& x {- ?
If you are not able to make it to the campground before 11:00 a.m. the day after your; U p, J0 G0 f* O
expected day of arrival, and you have not notified us, the fees paid for your first two9 Z1 O- P8 y3 _/ a& n2 _
nights of camping will not be refunded. You will also be considered a "No-show" (see, v+ j- ]+ k O# Z' N

No-Shows

1 U8 i: K% T. A+ H17. No-shows: If you do not arrive at the campground by 11:00 a.m. on the day after your : O* ^, S/ y) s- m$ \: S- d
scheduled day of arrival, and if you have not contacted the park to inform them of
+ o2 R) t* c) W+ @7 U your late arrival, you will be deemed a "No-show."
; o# ^# Y7 R+ g: [( q. h3 ?/ D" X% }# A" ?6 d/ o& e. |, C
When you are deemed a "No-show," your reservation will be cancelled and your campsite
$ y' K* C% b) q. i- o7 [1 s' T6 ` will be made available to other campers.$ c1 ]/ o( \3 f7 p8 k3 h* C- p0 q0 p
- U" }8 a' `1 f l- v If you are deemed a "No-show," you can claim your refund of the total camping fees
& h/ S4 t4 V' {: U: b paid, minus a penalty of two-nights of camping and the original, non-refundable,
, L6 v* y: C3 A reservation fee of $10.80. This is provided that you contact the park within 30 days

Closures

18. Closures: If Parks Canada must close a campsite or a campground for operational reasons,

possible if we encounter this situation.
