General Terms of Use

1. Availability of the reservation service: The Parks Canada Campground Reservation Service
6 E6 J7 d/ Y+ M* k is available to all campers by telephone at 1-877-RESERVE (1-877-737-3783) between
& I4 I% t9 `: C9 |9 ]4 V* H# M 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. local park time or online 24-hours a day at www.pccamping.ca. \& p3 S5 u' M7 S; e
You can make a camping reservation from the system launch dates up until 12:00 midnight$ \- L8 s& U6 N. H0 `9 |# f& Z, m
on the night prior to your arrival. Same day reservations are not accepted.
" E$ J' F9 L _, m/ n2. Times: All times quoted in these Terms of Use are the local time at the park where your
; ?" d; a7 h3 Y reservation is made (e.g. hours of operation are from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. local park9 b1 T* R D! Q: P' k% C, X
time – for a reservation made in Pacific Rim National Park Reserve in British Columbia,: f3 t! ]) q2 C% D
this is 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Pacific Time but for a reservation made in Fundy National

) }. p) D& o2 ?4. Daily entry fees: The fees paid when you make your reservation do not include your/ h0 j) G, i. ^8 L" l& ^2 C
national park daily entry fees. You will be required to pay these daily entry fees upon* U. [5 i2 d5 t! j [9 r
arrival at the park.
$ [# ~( S, |$ U+ U! W8 C5. Reservation fees: The reservation fee is non-refundable and covers the operating cost of
6 l5 D7 s# N3 l& A, G+ R3 N$ W0 P Q the Parks Canada Reservation Service. This fee is charged per stay. A stay is defined as' C. _( h( h/ ]" m3 [
a series of consecutive nights (not exceeding the maximum length of stay) in the same7 u0 i( S; H1 ?' @) `6 n0 M- c6 E
campground. The fee to make a reservation is $10.80.$ ~, t5 M2 @8 s& E
6. Camping fees: Camping fees are the fees paid for use of the campsite. They are charged on9 h. c. w0 O" o0 k
a per night basis and the price is dependent on: the park; the campground; the type of& O* D( g+ f8 [
campsite; and the service type. . a& I0 n+ L- ]) r* G$ s
7. Changes and cancellations: Fees are also charged if you change or cancel a previously3 K/ e/ D. t% X
confirmed reservation. The fee for each change or cancellation is $8.80 and is non-refundable.

Methods of Payment

All reservations using certified cheques or international money orders must be made at. G4 y W4 u9 L
least 35 days prior to your date of arrival at the campground. Payment must be received0 j( c U; w7 Z; W( P
for processing no later than 21 days from the date that the reservation was made. e6 y" M+ D) }' C

certified cheque or international money order payment has been received and processed.

reservation. If you do not receive a confirmation number, your reservation is not complete.

the campground. It is must be given to Parks Canada staff so that they can register you

to receive an electronic confirmation, and/or you may want to write down the confirmation

11. Changes before check-in: You can change your reservation until 2:00 p.m. (local park time)

the same national park), campsite type, service type, etc. Changes can be made online7 Q" E: R5 P7 g

12. Cancellations before check-in: Cancellations can be done online or by telephone. You
0 T1 F8 k! u1 z9 z. S will be charged a fee of $8.80 to cancel. A reservation can be cancelled before you' K8 P. W: n1 b1 X# ]
check-in to the campground, subject to the following:! z' H. b- V' Z- g0 l; B
- If you cancel your reservation prior to 2:00 p.m. on your scheduled day of arrival,: B/ p% x2 c! b: h1 ]2 A8 I1 o
you will get a full refund for all of the camping fees you paid when you made your
9 \: X* x$ Z' s1 T" O reservation. The original $10.80 reservation fee is non-refundable and, in addition,
9 T( T. t/ r) ?- @: D you will be charged a cancellation fee of $8.80 for this transaction.
z) i6 ~/ U r - Cancellations made after 2:00 p.m. on your scheduled day of arrival and before+ T! t/ A$ l6 N: I; _; V6 F' X
11:00 a.m. on the following day will result in you losing the fees paid for one night
! d) r, x% I$ E of camping. You will be refunded the fees paid for the rest of your stay. The original
' x2 f! V* B$ L! J* b" Q( c6 a) i $10.80 reservation fee is non-refundable and, in addition, you will be charged a
5 z$ K& i# o2 G ?$ v" L8 c cancellation fee of $8.80 for this transaction.

Changes and cancellations after check-in 2 Y3 X- l7 G5 p0 ^! X8 ~

13. Changes after check-in: We will do our best to accommodate any changes you request to
: I, a& _- V- K: ]* x your campsite once you are registered. It is important to note that changes cannot be
3 a7 X+ p) k3 T3 q+ z3 P9 d8 y$ J guaranteed and can only be accommodated if a suitable campsite is available. If a change4 A" |+ _2 W+ L# A
is requested, there may be a difference in the new camping fee charged based on the
$ O" F- ]8 d0 n' M- M services provided at the new campsite. The camping fee will be adjusted but the $8.80
5 B# @( }0 [7 K7 `- p7 x Z change fee will not apply. Availability may be limited.9 ?' W$ U, l( M: a+ t$ [9 ?/ D
14. Shortening your stay: We recognize that plans change. There is no penalty for leaving& H" t7 E5 O0 I* i* R$ N) f
earlier than your original day of departure, provided that you notify the campground6 O) ^+ {9 I. b4 B4 B* U, R0 ~( o7 o
prior to the check-out time on the day you want to leave. The $8.80 cancellation fee
' S5 ?6 j& S5 T! g4 w' G will not apply and the unused portion of your camping fees will be reimbursed. Please: C* N' j: y, y+ V* N/ G
notify park staff at your earliest possible convenience if you plan on leaving early.
9 o1 _ S% v# ?% @ This will give other campers an opportunity to enjoy the park.

Late Arrivals

15. Late Arrivals – Notification on the day of arrival until 11:00 a.m. the day after the% l( a: u! ?$ G2 @! ^0 A" W
expected day of arrival: If you are not going to be able to arrive at the campground
# n, n( @2 r" s2 h& A/ M on the day of arrival, but you still wish to retain your reservation, you must contact
: a# o) i: v9 a6 h4 J the park office. If you do not know the telephone number for the park,
9 W2 O% q# \: I3 | call 1-877-RESERVE (1-877-737-3783).
% \& _8 u5 u- d/ k' J16. Late Arrivals – Notification after 11:00 a.m. the day after the expected day of arrival:
- @5 t5 K3 n. e If you are not able to make it to the campground before 11:00 a.m. the day after your+ d% d; J, s3 o# f7 H; W" O
expected day of arrival, and you have not notified us, the fees paid for your first two
3 h# H9 Q5 A. N. u- S0 d* ~3 @ nights of camping will not be refunded. You will also be considered a "No-show" (see. ^8 d9 `3 H( B# m2 T; }
policy #17) and your reservation will be cancelled. Please let us know about any late

( K x* k/ V; |17. No-shows: If you do not arrive at the campground by 11:00 a.m. on the day after your
) L1 v$ T. y J" U/ T; {' @+ X) k scheduled day of arrival, and if you have not contacted the park to inform them of# j" e% l; d2 z% i0 l- C+ d7 [) Z
your late arrival, you will be deemed a "No-show."

! \% g1 u# G/ [1 ^ When you are deemed a "No-show," your reservation will be cancelled and your campsite
, b3 @2 U6 `3 G& N will be made available to other campers.

If you are deemed a "No-show," you can claim your refund of the total camping fees
5 x B# h; n6 G. D paid, minus a penalty of two-nights of camping and the original, non-refundable,
s4 m' K) O0 `/ i reservation fee of $10.80. This is provided that you contact the park within 30 days
% d# `/ n, ~6 y) ~, L) V) X& m of your originally scheduled departure date.

Thirty days after your originally scheduled departure date your camping fees become
