7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. local park time or online 24-hours a day at www.pccamping.ca.
1 l- q7 Q7 R8 k% O2 R& W+ h You can make a camping reservation from the system launch dates up until 12:00 midnight4 y5 f- g4 e' E7 z& I
on the night prior to your arrival. Same day reservations are not accepted.
/ J. o* q0 \/ C7 ]2. Times: All times quoted in these Terms of Use are the local time at the park where your. i7 Y$ Y7 e* T6 {' O
reservation is made (e.g. hours of operation are from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. local park1 s3 X- g6 \4 {# H
time – for a reservation made in Pacific Rim National Park Reserve in British Columbia,

3. Fees are payable when the reservation is made: Both reservation fees and camping fees are2 C5 T" ]$ P' d' W1 c* M ?
due when you make your reservation.8 I; n* F, I; [: j: q( a
4. Daily entry fees: The fees paid when you make your reservation do not include your
2 X- \* ~ O% y) u" {7 X% _ national park daily entry fees. You will be required to pay these daily entry fees upon

8 I6 ~$ g. U+ H5. Reservation fees: The reservation fee is non-refundable and covers the operating cost of) F* {! e7 R! g0 K6 ?0 t' j1 N3 x
the Parks Canada Reservation Service. This fee is charged per stay. A stay is defined as
& s# A! n3 |! s: z# _0 u4 i8 ]1 Q a series of consecutive nights (not exceeding the maximum length of stay) in the same" {- j+ j( L, d0 Y
campground. The fee to make a reservation is $10.80.
/ G% ?9 \2 O% g& e+ y& f* H* a2 v6. Camping fees: Camping fees are the fees paid for use of the campsite. They are charged on7 z% b* a4 v) ^* V
a per night basis and the price is dependent on: the park; the campground; the type of
5 A& \6 c& F% Q( k campsite; and the service type.
3 n0 u' Q( H& u: F% ~7. Changes and cancellations: Fees are also charged if you change or cancel a previously
0 \% C, o2 I3 f7 }8 l* d confirmed reservation. The fee for each change or cancellation is $8.80 and is non-refundable.* x7 {. W# [# ~
These fees, along with any additional costs for camping, are due when you make the

All reservations using certified cheques or international money orders must be made at
& _+ U% g3 X3 _- H' r+ `+ o least 35 days prior to your date of arrival at the campground. Payment must be received$ }- P6 k( G4 ~1 Y7 k
for processing no later than 21 days from the date that the reservation was made.) m; ^! L6 U2 h5 B& W. n
* X& ]3 W+ T$ e% m3 V1 w We will inform you of your confirmation number by email or by telephone once your

' G3 V# {3 [! I% M; ?7 L* N For reservations made by telephone, you have the option of providing an email address
+ _ K4 \2 D# w3 z1 H2 n to receive an electronic confirmation, and/or you may want to write down the confirmation
+ X+ M3 |' x7 M4 j. W0 D number when you receive it verbally from the Customer Service Associate.2 o- D2 d3 E; F H+ t7 X: S

electronic copy of your confirmation. You can also print out the confirmation screen,

the same national park), campsite type, service type, etc. Changes can be made online
: o+ ^0 z [: ~2 T( { or by telephone. You will be charged a fee of $8.80 to make a change.
$ N# q1 d+ ]+ B5 E/ \12. Cancellations before check-in: Cancellations can be done online or by telephone. You
5 R/ F' U9 D5 D2 t- [1 A3 @ will be charged a fee of $8.80 to cancel. A reservation can be cancelled before you

- If you cancel your reservation prior to 2:00 p.m. on your scheduled day of arrival,
& R2 U2 T( z5 P$ \! U( d# m you will get a full refund for all of the camping fees you paid when you made your1 e7 g+ W6 R5 j( ], z
reservation. The original $10.80 reservation fee is non-refundable and, in addition,
, Q/ C8 W$ W/ @* W) h$ u$ _6 i you will be charged a cancellation fee of $8.80 for this transaction.* \7 r$ E, r% h0 i4 g6 k( z
- Cancellations made after 2:00 p.m. on your scheduled day of arrival and before7 w9 S7 O) K2 u( m' h& N
11:00 a.m. on the following day will result in you losing the fees paid for one night2 j; u* S; @* u! O( @2 @# u$ @
of camping. You will be refunded the fees paid for the rest of your stay. The original

your campsite once you are registered. It is important to note that changes cannot be
9 T; U: y o* t f+ G+ z+ j guaranteed and can only be accommodated if a suitable campsite is available. If a change
. B2 z1 A9 ~- u! C7 q6 r is requested, there may be a difference in the new camping fee charged based on the

change fee will not apply. Availability may be limited.
# e# y) d& D7 o8 J5 h14. Shortening your stay: We recognize that plans change. There is no penalty for leaving
1 y; Y8 ]+ j+ `! x# X earlier than your original day of departure, provided that you notify the campground
# h' a! [* r) F6 | prior to the check-out time on the day you want to leave. The $8.80 cancellation fee. t" B6 B7 ]9 c# R1 U5 x* g
will not apply and the unused portion of your camping fees will be reimbursed. Please
" Z, s5 W* l# J' ^3 s+ Q5 A notify park staff at your earliest possible convenience if you plan on leaving early.1 s9 [; g5 @8 m. s) a
This will give other campers an opportunity to enjoy the park.

Late Arrivals . M# u2 ^2 R& ]1 O1 [& Z

/ x: w: q- g. i- B3 z expected day of arrival: If you are not going to be able to arrive at the campground
9 _9 }0 Y4 R( I on the day of arrival, but you still wish to retain your reservation, you must contact
' D* ^" U% P- k4 p the park office. If you do not know the telephone number for the park,

; w$ l4 D1 C6 ~2 ]2 `/ w P$ T16. Late Arrivals – Notification after 11:00 a.m. the day after the expected day of arrival:
/ Y9 K# Y! Z% b0 L& Q7 [, | If you are not able to make it to the campground before 11:00 a.m. the day after your
# k2 K$ k }# p w& ` expected day of arrival, and you have not notified us, the fees paid for your first two
7 z& F) H3 r }1 W0 g% }. ]/ ^, @ nights of camping will not be refunded. You will also be considered a "No-show" (see0 I W) H; @! E, e; F+ D0 ^
policy #17) and your reservation will be cancelled. Please let us know about any late2 ^" D% @2 ]- m

No-Shows

17. No-shows: If you do not arrive at the campground by 11:00 a.m. on the day after your
& c: w! q- K) p* u5 } scheduled day of arrival, and if you have not contacted the park to inform them of9 n8 ]1 U$ i: P% I# o8 j
your late arrival, you will be deemed a "No-show."

6 M$ o6 E; H) k7 y K$ z When you are deemed a "No-show," your reservation will be cancelled and your campsite; n6 k9 @6 v6 s( W9 W3 q; Q9 n
will be made available to other campers.! s3 `0 i- T- [! _' H

If you are deemed a "No-show," you can claim your refund of the total camping fees2 c6 u2 c" [: }6 q
paid, minus a penalty of two-nights of camping and the original, non-refundable," t( V ^9 D9 \ e$ X
reservation fee of $10.80. This is provided that you contact the park within 30 days
