1. Availability of the reservation service: The Parks Canada Campground Reservation Service

You can make a camping reservation from the system launch dates up until 12:00 midnight
% }+ o0 x* q! v, ]9 E% a on the night prior to your arrival. Same day reservations are not accepted. 6 e5 e: U8 [# }- z2 w* [8 q( w
2. Times: All times quoted in these Terms of Use are the local time at the park where your
7 R4 V1 X% z! c) V7 E reservation is made (e.g. hours of operation are from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. local park+ L6 ?" d$ t9 o* y1 o' [3 a
time – for a reservation made in Pacific Rim National Park Reserve in British Columbia,

3. Fees are payable when the reservation is made: Both reservation fees and camping fees are6 D+ s# u2 Z4 l7 i0 c
due when you make your reservation.

3 a* J) y1 B! X) X) T national park daily entry fees. You will be required to pay these daily entry fees upon

# u2 O1 I& S8 p8 A1 l5. Reservation fees: The reservation fee is non-refundable and covers the operating cost of
3 H3 ~; q2 a+ i$ D7 t) i4 U4 u the Parks Canada Reservation Service. This fee is charged per stay. A stay is defined as
( ~: E! m+ B8 \/ p* f7 |" x1 g+ ] a series of consecutive nights (not exceeding the maximum length of stay) in the same6 J5 t+ A- N# K4 I$ C$ r
campground. The fee to make a reservation is $10.80.! q! P9 w6 Z: k" {* c' M: }
6. Camping fees: Camping fees are the fees paid for use of the campsite. They are charged on
6 j5 R* R* b+ f4 W) ` a per night basis and the price is dependent on: the park; the campground; the type of
$ ^$ Q( o H# g2 y campsite; and the service type.
) `) ?& i6 [; p% O" [7. Changes and cancellations: Fees are also charged if you change or cancel a previously
% B: \1 n" u i. A confirmed reservation. The fee for each change or cancellation is $8.80 and is non-refundable.6 W* ]9 g$ R, S" ?! F) l6 Z" M
These fees, along with any additional costs for camping, are due when you make the' U3 E) b; I" R

8. Methods of payment: All costs incurred through the use of this service can be paid by

9. Certified cheques and international money orders: Certified cheques and international
( h' D" E) m0 v) n3 I( k$ h" c6 } money orders are only accepted over the telephone; reservations using these forms of

All reservations using certified cheques or international money orders must be made at
7 c8 ~) M& ~2 j- N3 h least 35 days prior to your date of arrival at the campground. Payment must be received

Confirmation

10. Confirmation number: A confirmation number will be provided at the end of every completed6 c, x0 `1 n2 q r# ~7 q& D
reservation. If you do not receive a confirmation number, your reservation is not complete.

It is important that you take note of this confirmation number and bring it with you to
2 Q4 c/ {& y/ R" J y j5 H0 l the campground. It is must be given to Parks Canada staff so that they can register you' {" t! i m! ^- [
into the campground.

For reservations made by telephone, you have the option of providing an email address

For reservations made on-line, you should enter your email address to receive an

Changes and cancellations before check-in

11. Changes before check-in: You can change your reservation until 2:00 p.m. (local park time)% D# O4 h0 T( j6 O2 k
on your scheduled day of arrival. Changes may include changes in date, campground (within
- U- s0 \3 n6 a3 Q! W the same national park), campsite type, service type, etc. Changes can be made online
' I9 P( l3 [3 n& x) _4 B% n$ G+ c' j* O or by telephone. You will be charged a fee of $8.80 to make a change.8 ~1 w' L: P# ?' S' f* H: Z
12. Cancellations before check-in: Cancellations can be done online or by telephone. You
: u8 i) Z* h3 N$ Q will be charged a fee of $8.80 to cancel. A reservation can be cancelled before you
5 H/ |5 F0 F4 |. O6 M. o check-in to the campground, subject to the following:
! [: @3 U1 ?( O1 ~/ Z( J - If you cancel your reservation prior to 2:00 p.m. on your scheduled day of arrival,
2 v1 o7 `+ J7 A" h/ d you will get a full refund for all of the camping fees you paid when you made your' f: b1 @6 ~8 i' j$ ^5 j
reservation. The original $10.80 reservation fee is non-refundable and, in addition,$ |) y; C) L' |2 e0 d
you will be charged a cancellation fee of $8.80 for this transaction.5 S1 S9 y0 H; X2 T; n& P
- Cancellations made after 2:00 p.m. on your scheduled day of arrival and before1 V: t3 z6 ?7 O- z9 g
11:00 a.m. on the following day will result in you losing the fees paid for one night1 L# U3 k' M% h. S6 M8 o/ n
of camping. You will be refunded the fees paid for the rest of your stay. The original2 R: w' n- l+ h( n. \

( R9 `1 j: K' K) L13. Changes after check-in: We will do our best to accommodate any changes you request to
+ y( [! b2 _2 P" A% D" } your campsite once you are registered. It is important to note that changes cannot be2 e* v9 l& P2 o$ {+ } G5 A6 U, T0 d
guaranteed and can only be accommodated if a suitable campsite is available. If a change6 B+ C6 b h5 D# Q9 ^ p
is requested, there may be a difference in the new camping fee charged based on the
! e' G$ M% d; J; ? services provided at the new campsite. The camping fee will be adjusted but the $8.805 ]6 |6 i9 {9 w$ x" N3 u
change fee will not apply. Availability may be limited.
& \5 i/ D; r/ Z1 w4 T- e3 y14. Shortening your stay: We recognize that plans change. There is no penalty for leaving
& S! l# H; H% u% j; G earlier than your original day of departure, provided that you notify the campground; s9 n) ~! a* a
prior to the check-out time on the day you want to leave. The $8.80 cancellation fee v9 l( J4 M2 m
will not apply and the unused portion of your camping fees will be reimbursed. Please

Late Arrivals

15. Late Arrivals – Notification on the day of arrival until 11:00 a.m. the day after the1 f- y# V g2 i
expected day of arrival: If you are not going to be able to arrive at the campground0 Y* g8 W+ A5 `
on the day of arrival, but you still wish to retain your reservation, you must contact1 G# a2 w- S* j2 z" f+ ?
the park office. If you do not know the telephone number for the park,
' Z! {1 g8 }3 I( I& s% y call 1-877-RESERVE (1-877-737-3783).
- j G/ A3 Z, _9 P. }3 V16. Late Arrivals – Notification after 11:00 a.m. the day after the expected day of arrival:+ i V& h$ v1 x' E v* c& f6 Q _
If you are not able to make it to the campground before 11:00 a.m. the day after your
: ^" B6 x! m4 I s1 l5 C expected day of arrival, and you have not notified us, the fees paid for your first two
% E+ H! f+ V9 O" j nights of camping will not be refunded. You will also be considered a "No-show" (see
; Q4 u. F( f8 L/ `4 f; F" D policy #17) and your reservation will be cancelled. Please let us know about any late* ?( b& y9 g* a( r/ C( Z
arrivals in advance.

No-Shows " }% ]4 @0 N) @& M

17. No-shows: If you do not arrive at the campground by 11:00 a.m. on the day after your
0 e) v9 \. y" r, ]# |' Q4 `+ z scheduled day of arrival, and if you have not contacted the park to inform them of7 ]. i: E: w/ L; C0 `; I; b
your late arrival, you will be deemed a "No-show."

" n+ I: P' D! T% z, l When you are deemed a "No-show," your reservation will be cancelled and your campsite: z6 W4 G' O# t9 S5 u6 i
will be made available to other campers.8 E9 u% X+ x8 M
2 Z6 Q; p6 D" F6 Q- ?& ~ If you are deemed a "No-show," you can claim your refund of the total camping fees+ U' o6 V7 Q6 e1 H7 J
paid, minus a penalty of two-nights of camping and the original, non-refundable,
