1. Availability of the reservation service: The Parks Canada Campground Reservation Service ) Z# {5 A5 O8 { d. O6 E4 q
is available to all campers by telephone at 1-877-RESERVE (1-877-737-3783) between
! h/ k, l1 M( z/ h* G8 p" r 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. local park time or online 24-hours a day at www.pccamping.ca.
2 G3 @) Y8 n; W( w0 t& U You can make a camping reservation from the system launch dates up until 12:00 midnight3 M& I P. D9 {
on the night prior to your arrival. Same day reservations are not accepted.
7 a; S- L7 b! o W2. Times: All times quoted in these Terms of Use are the local time at the park where your
0 Q) J' l! {- ^ reservation is made (e.g. hours of operation are from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. local park4 z3 V1 C" t5 l6 F. V7 N& ?3 K
time – for a reservation made in Pacific Rim National Park Reserve in British Columbia,( N' L0 s+ \# W" k

Fees

3. Fees are payable when the reservation is made: Both reservation fees and camping fees are

( Y3 c. N$ {! V. J( q4. Daily entry fees: The fees paid when you make your reservation do not include your, E6 E, N+ j6 B* B
national park daily entry fees. You will be required to pay these daily entry fees upon

5. Reservation fees: The reservation fee is non-refundable and covers the operating cost of
/ _( ~6 `( |2 l7 R! q- T( x the Parks Canada Reservation Service. This fee is charged per stay. A stay is defined as
- f% `0 _' o& ? a series of consecutive nights (not exceeding the maximum length of stay) in the same
: ]% y Z# m7 @ campground. The fee to make a reservation is $10.80.
+ Q8 A" U# T1 g+ J6. Camping fees: Camping fees are the fees paid for use of the campsite. They are charged on, W; Y- U$ C$ G) e; K
a per night basis and the price is dependent on: the park; the campground; the type of+ Y/ L; ^+ E9 |& Y4 Q: {1 k- d
campsite; and the service type. ; G; }2 _2 Z% J9 w2 E
7. Changes and cancellations: Fees are also charged if you change or cancel a previously

These fees, along with any additional costs for camping, are due when you make the8 J U& i. i# ]6 E0 ~( Q

least 35 days prior to your date of arrival at the campground. Payment must be received

) M" J7 o& \- H12. Cancellations before check-in: Cancellations can be done online or by telephone. You! Y1 o0 X* x" W7 H: P' j
will be charged a fee of $8.80 to cancel. A reservation can be cancelled before you9 Z6 ?" C7 ?# ?$ k0 E
check-in to the campground, subject to the following:
/ M+ K! g! F* k$ Q# ?5 G - If you cancel your reservation prior to 2:00 p.m. on your scheduled day of arrival," W1 u1 f( e; _/ l2 c( o
you will get a full refund for all of the camping fees you paid when you made your
1 ?+ u: ]9 B. d5 E6 K' _ reservation. The original $10.80 reservation fee is non-refundable and, in addition,/ z# G9 R" B( T. S3 p
you will be charged a cancellation fee of $8.80 for this transaction.
% e' U+ I: \: j8 ^3 ?. W - Cancellations made after 2:00 p.m. on your scheduled day of arrival and before4 E! P: L. w- d6 @. k9 l! P* `5 {# _
11:00 a.m. on the following day will result in you losing the fees paid for one night' o4 n3 x0 _; |, ~
of camping. You will be refunded the fees paid for the rest of your stay. The original; t }, ~: X2 X* A% F Q, d* Z
$10.80 reservation fee is non-refundable and, in addition, you will be charged a

Changes and cancellations after check-in

3 N& x3 B! D0 T9 t+ o; _13. Changes after check-in: We will do our best to accommodate any changes you request to# h4 y; k8 w1 a4 s" j* i
your campsite once you are registered. It is important to note that changes cannot be
+ k8 j) A5 W% M guaranteed and can only be accommodated if a suitable campsite is available. If a change
# ?( j. c, q& [ j' D+ J is requested, there may be a difference in the new camping fee charged based on the7 N1 N- Y8 f0 U- D# Q# {8 P
services provided at the new campsite. The camping fee will be adjusted but the $8.80
" C9 f) W# M/ ?: {( j8 f$ J$ S change fee will not apply. Availability may be limited.
- O7 b0 |! H( ?2 k4 ?8 v14. Shortening your stay: We recognize that plans change. There is no penalty for leaving
" @0 p1 W/ ?1 O; x- Z- N3 W earlier than your original day of departure, provided that you notify the campground
" A6 T+ x7 ]$ X4 K prior to the check-out time on the day you want to leave. The $8.80 cancellation fee
3 y# K+ E8 t3 h) h w2 T3 v will not apply and the unused portion of your camping fees will be reimbursed. Please

15. Late Arrivals – Notification on the day of arrival until 11:00 a.m. the day after the
/ A" \% {+ v$ { expected day of arrival: If you are not going to be able to arrive at the campground
/ [, H6 Y0 d- q e on the day of arrival, but you still wish to retain your reservation, you must contact( }; {* X. H. R! m+ O
the park office. If you do not know the telephone number for the park,
4 n& z6 c( u" R9 o6 s1 j! \ call 1-877-RESERVE (1-877-737-3783).
% T4 H7 k7 U* S: d16. Late Arrivals – Notification after 11:00 a.m. the day after the expected day of arrival:
* ~8 z6 x- v$ ^& A If you are not able to make it to the campground before 11:00 a.m. the day after your
& m& `- U8 J. Y5 \ expected day of arrival, and you have not notified us, the fees paid for your first two$ }: Z& Z1 ^; J7 W& B$ v
nights of camping will not be refunded. You will also be considered a "No-show" (see
1 {/ s1 x" S i8 v/ e( X policy #17) and your reservation will be cancelled. Please let us know about any late

17. No-shows: If you do not arrive at the campground by 11:00 a.m. on the day after your
- R3 F: {# ^2 O( O* w7 J/ P' g scheduled day of arrival, and if you have not contacted the park to inform them of6 ]' _2 h, Z7 S% {- K
your late arrival, you will be deemed a "No-show."
: C) Z( w$ ]& l3 u5 Q, W: ]7 _8 v# N+ c; T- o. H
When you are deemed a "No-show," your reservation will be cancelled and your campsite
" k1 G Z8 r3 }) N; R; s# ~/ {& D will be made available to other campers.3 F6 `7 f) D9 U# @
, E/ v- ^8 x! f. s: k If you are deemed a "No-show," you can claim your refund of the total camping fees" h; R& D6 L+ s
paid, minus a penalty of two-nights of camping and the original, non-refundable,
# K' k# \8 B4 Z# u% G. N reservation fee of $10.80. This is provided that you contact the park within 30 days9 D( P! U* G8 D- O
of your originally scheduled departure date.

Closures

18. Closures: If Parks Canada must close a campsite or a campground for operational reasons,
