2. Times: All times quoted in these Terms of Use are the local time at the park where your/ |9 [- V+ E$ @$ h
reservation is made (e.g. hours of operation are from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. local park/ O& \/ N) [4 M$ h0 z
time – for a reservation made in Pacific Rim National Park Reserve in British Columbia,

3. Fees are payable when the reservation is made: Both reservation fees and camping fees are( l- N- }) N* [0 m& R, }3 L
due when you make your reservation.
! X+ m9 f! }# {$ y5 L+ _, O4. Daily entry fees: The fees paid when you make your reservation do not include your
) E$ @$ ]9 e, x/ \ national park daily entry fees. You will be required to pay these daily entry fees upon
P \5 [# v4 U' L arrival at the park./ _1 h. u$ J. @1 |6 r# G9 N' c: N
5. Reservation fees: The reservation fee is non-refundable and covers the operating cost of' `( G# p; s" `" u
the Parks Canada Reservation Service. This fee is charged per stay. A stay is defined as
2 D$ v/ h" j9 g6 x6 w/ z O# _) E a series of consecutive nights (not exceeding the maximum length of stay) in the same' U; D. I* F4 J
campground. The fee to make a reservation is $10.80.; B$ z# f6 C4 H' G3 K. J6 U
6. Camping fees: Camping fees are the fees paid for use of the campsite. They are charged on2 F+ f" W' y J% Q3 ?% |; s( g
a per night basis and the price is dependent on: the park; the campground; the type of
: h3 ?# S" k/ B+ o( Y) b- X campsite; and the service type. ; \1 X( H2 r" Y L7 @) j) ]
7. Changes and cancellations: Fees are also charged if you change or cancel a previously
" B8 s5 \1 l4 J; S7 Y6 ~' v0 x& B confirmed reservation. The fee for each change or cancellation is $8.80 and is non-refundable.& I0 ]. h" j7 \* u/ h
These fees, along with any additional costs for camping, are due when you make the

money orders are only accepted over the telephone; reservations using these forms of

All reservations using certified cheques or international money orders must be made at2 G" o% U/ ~- O3 i
least 35 days prior to your date of arrival at the campground. Payment must be received

10. Confirmation number: A confirmation number will be provided at the end of every completed
: X1 v. D, S: m, F* d) J" h0 s& o reservation. If you do not receive a confirmation number, your reservation is not complete. / }, R* X5 @, y# M
6 m& z: n+ N) C( a3 L7 d3 k3 ?7 p It is important that you take note of this confirmation number and bring it with you to+ G. i/ U @5 G
the campground. It is must be given to Parks Canada staff so that they can register you

For reservations made by telephone, you have the option of providing an email address

or by telephone. You will be charged a fee of $8.80 to make a change.
3 z( p) a6 @5 b12. Cancellations before check-in: Cancellations can be done online or by telephone. You; @+ m! U6 T( B- u& N
will be charged a fee of $8.80 to cancel. A reservation can be cancelled before you9 c) |/ v% g% U2 J
check-in to the campground, subject to the following:( E2 _/ Z, r; L
- If you cancel your reservation prior to 2:00 p.m. on your scheduled day of arrival,
z6 E, B% H: i) W# D' B9 E you will get a full refund for all of the camping fees you paid when you made your
E, W8 h9 w! `6 ~6 c/ z) h, q reservation. The original $10.80 reservation fee is non-refundable and, in addition,
% P+ X6 o8 C' A W/ j you will be charged a cancellation fee of $8.80 for this transaction.
3 X& Z, K3 f( O' ^4 Y9 V - Cancellations made after 2:00 p.m. on your scheduled day of arrival and before T8 X4 S% P/ M& W- C; N
11:00 a.m. on the following day will result in you losing the fees paid for one night8 `1 q" {0 @# Y, T) w
of camping. You will be refunded the fees paid for the rest of your stay. The original; h4 L0 u1 p1 b" H0 w8 f
$10.80 reservation fee is non-refundable and, in addition, you will be charged a

Changes and cancellations after check-in

13. Changes after check-in: We will do our best to accommodate any changes you request to

guaranteed and can only be accommodated if a suitable campsite is available. If a change
/ [7 S; R: l8 D7 k/ [/ Q( b, ]& I is requested, there may be a difference in the new camping fee charged based on the
; I0 M+ R# V" O" d services provided at the new campsite. The camping fee will be adjusted but the $8.80

14. Shortening your stay: We recognize that plans change. There is no penalty for leaving
' O5 p, s6 J- R( F/ I) D earlier than your original day of departure, provided that you notify the campground. h3 F4 o; k% t& v; w' A2 Z
prior to the check-out time on the day you want to leave. The $8.80 cancellation fee9 O. Q% a6 {. ^$ F5 S. w
will not apply and the unused portion of your camping fees will be reimbursed. Please2 J, n, l6 U0 Q: t: }6 f r+ B

$ o- J1 {: w! i+ J# I- `4 `# l16. Late Arrivals – Notification after 11:00 a.m. the day after the expected day of arrival:

& b8 h& G+ d7 b( }) g17. No-shows: If you do not arrive at the campground by 11:00 a.m. on the day after your
; Z! {5 d; I$ M scheduled day of arrival, and if you have not contacted the park to inform them of2 y0 c! ]2 k! T: t9 @. Z4 ~8 S' q
your late arrival, you will be deemed a "No-show."

/ ~7 U$ \8 B& ?- M When you are deemed a "No-show," your reservation will be cancelled and your campsite: w0 [ |6 v @) p' L

If you are deemed a "No-show," you can claim your refund of the total camping fees

reservation fee of $10.80. This is provided that you contact the park within 30 days
