1. Availability of the reservation service: The Parks Canada Campground Reservation Service
d4 K. M# T; J' o is available to all campers by telephone at 1-877-RESERVE (1-877-737-3783) between
$ S' o( g1 I" j" j' ? 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. local park time or online 24-hours a day at www.pccamping.ca.
2 `% e' P% l. w You can make a camping reservation from the system launch dates up until 12:00 midnight9 L; b% @1 K; ^
on the night prior to your arrival. Same day reservations are not accepted. 6 z+ P# _% Z3 A& @. O
2. Times: All times quoted in these Terms of Use are the local time at the park where your
2 u! g) w" Z( }9 u7 z- d reservation is made (e.g. hours of operation are from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. local park, t. E1 ]" s. P6 R6 s
time – for a reservation made in Pacific Rim National Park Reserve in British Columbia,
( P: [& @ o# B+ p; S) t this is 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Pacific Time but for a reservation made in Fundy National1 ~0 O T# i6 W
Park in New Brunswick, this is 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Atlantic Time).

: L2 G) G; r# r5 A( T7 _' F3. Fees are payable when the reservation is made: Both reservation fees and camping fees are
, ]: D V% m, G& K0 K; {+ ]3 J due when you make your reservation.
% o, e+ }" `/ v, x2 ?7 |4. Daily entry fees: The fees paid when you make your reservation do not include your
7 x2 @, q& W& Q% r national park daily entry fees. You will be required to pay these daily entry fees upon& Z6 `( J- X& A4 y
arrival at the park.
( h- t, @( v( |# e5. Reservation fees: The reservation fee is non-refundable and covers the operating cost of* X0 Y" w+ _- M7 k) L$ f
the Parks Canada Reservation Service. This fee is charged per stay. A stay is defined as
# A; B2 S0 j. U5 Y a series of consecutive nights (not exceeding the maximum length of stay) in the same
6 M3 W: w+ y8 R" ^: [# e campground. The fee to make a reservation is $10.80.
3 g6 i. u& q6 @7 `! Y" w, U" h6. Camping fees: Camping fees are the fees paid for use of the campsite. They are charged on
1 x. y! G M5 }0 a# [; ? a per night basis and the price is dependent on: the park; the campground; the type of
% v& \4 U& S, h2 `1 A" S8 \; y campsite; and the service type. 0 N& {" A5 D6 k9 z* {9 R
7. Changes and cancellations: Fees are also charged if you change or cancel a previously& y5 @; K; j2 H7 M% k6 l% j0 @
confirmed reservation. The fee for each change or cancellation is $8.80 and is non-refundable.
/ D/ f4 C0 @. V; b7 g6 ]/ T2 r" d These fees, along with any additional costs for camping, are due when you make the

% [9 J( s, [ ~( P) `8. Methods of payment: All costs incurred through the use of this service can be paid by
1 S* {' M% |& J8 B credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express), certified cheque or international

+ c. w3 f- F4 P* \8 q9. Certified cheques and international money orders: Certified cheques and international2 t8 F) S8 M% k: F' d' D5 v
money orders are only accepted over the telephone; reservations using these forms of+ X+ q3 \; I. z s- I; t+ {9 e3 g
payment cannot be made on-line. When this method of payment is used, campsite reservations
5 \4 M& ?! ?+ B2 F9 s2 C will not be confirmed until the payment is received and processed.
9 A) D7 B2 K' D) R* W All reservations using certified cheques or international money orders must be made at
8 p/ B( T) W4 T& J4 u$ V least 35 days prior to your date of arrival at the campground. Payment must be received6 P; w! q/ ~8 f/ y
for processing no later than 21 days from the date that the reservation was made.9 k, B8 k% o& I* m

We will inform you of your confirmation number by email or by telephone once your' ~* T" J' s& j
certified cheque or international money order payment has been received and processed.

10. Confirmation number: A confirmation number will be provided at the end of every completed9 ^% {# X/ v9 ~7 Q
reservation. If you do not receive a confirmation number, your reservation is not complete. & K1 Y/ ^. W8 G$ \1 o4 s
+ Z/ z! O3 Y9 y5 F It is important that you take note of this confirmation number and bring it with you to
$ n8 C. ?5 S2 [+ f( h; h# T the campground. It is must be given to Parks Canada staff so that they can register you) l: h5 z6 Y8 ~

For reservations made by telephone, you have the option of providing an email address! n5 b/ V& ~& V4 g! Q% O- C4 n
to receive an electronic confirmation, and/or you may want to write down the confirmation
- E8 H4 n( H4 j2 U% q7 J8 C: p number when you receive it verbally from the Customer Service Associate.

2 W, q' y$ m7 x& a For reservations made on-line, you should enter your email address to receive an

12. Cancellations before check-in: Cancellations can be done online or by telephone. You" r3 o* q) W9 S4 `1 s% l4 r3 l
will be charged a fee of $8.80 to cancel. A reservation can be cancelled before you
& {" S" c; }" `% ~" z check-in to the campground, subject to the following:
8 B; U; K# B# b - If you cancel your reservation prior to 2:00 p.m. on your scheduled day of arrival,
/ m% z7 N% @' a9 |, j( Z5 ]8 E you will get a full refund for all of the camping fees you paid when you made your; r- W; j2 _3 P
reservation. The original $10.80 reservation fee is non-refundable and, in addition,
) l$ G) {0 T" }0 d: v. Q you will be charged a cancellation fee of $8.80 for this transaction.' g; {) T, f5 t( ]* J
- Cancellations made after 2:00 p.m. on your scheduled day of arrival and before: Y, x- d; v$ w: O8 J+ [- B
11:00 a.m. on the following day will result in you losing the fees paid for one night
( V1 x' n- r8 b3 Z of camping. You will be refunded the fees paid for the rest of your stay. The original6 W" U* C. ?' f ^9 A
$10.80 reservation fee is non-refundable and, in addition, you will be charged a2 h9 O, s4 N% S7 u
cancellation fee of $8.80 for this transaction.2 F, X' w' |: w7 E7 D

Changes and cancellations after check-in

13. Changes after check-in: We will do our best to accommodate any changes you request to# e! O6 Z- [: T) C6 }
your campsite once you are registered. It is important to note that changes cannot be2 G9 i" r, d" Z/ }& C+ }) Y! l4 |6 n) i
guaranteed and can only be accommodated if a suitable campsite is available. If a change2 u1 m, G, ~- A3 P* \) `/ c* X
is requested, there may be a difference in the new camping fee charged based on the
" v2 W$ g [. k1 w8 Y services provided at the new campsite. The camping fee will be adjusted but the $8.80
5 E7 j# A$ @4 _! j" c' g0 ~, @! n( i change fee will not apply. Availability may be limited.
. l% {5 V3 o: @) V( G' ?14. Shortening your stay: We recognize that plans change. There is no penalty for leaving
9 F; p6 Z4 i. X% P' ?% i earlier than your original day of departure, provided that you notify the campground
1 C: s" H6 c' Q prior to the check-out time on the day you want to leave. The $8.80 cancellation fee' U' W7 U; M3 m9 C' s
will not apply and the unused portion of your camping fees will be reimbursed. Please
& C8 l" A' ?' @4 Z1 T- t% x5 j notify park staff at your earliest possible convenience if you plan on leaving early.

9 ]: R! K% F* ]2 Q! [+ ^3 a on the day of arrival, but you still wish to retain your reservation, you must contact
# k( U2 K2 v, X5 Z the park office. If you do not know the telephone number for the park,# L' O+ g @" Y2 I) V d
call 1-877-RESERVE (1-877-737-3783).
! |# G# X) b. K7 g16. Late Arrivals – Notification after 11:00 a.m. the day after the expected day of arrival:
8 o+ L3 b5 r6 t% f/ Q- {) S If you are not able to make it to the campground before 11:00 a.m. the day after your2 r: x( F# x, e. N' j/ {+ s T/ D
expected day of arrival, and you have not notified us, the fees paid for your first two2 @3 J4 A$ e) B' Z+ x
nights of camping will not be refunded. You will also be considered a "No-show" (see2 O7 @8 |/ E/ v
policy #17) and your reservation will be cancelled. Please let us know about any late
+ d. W* o1 W0 y) K arrivals in advance.

scheduled day of arrival, and if you have not contacted the park to inform them of) w; D, p7 V c$ J
your late arrival, you will be deemed a "No-show."

0 W: C! a: d& Y: w When you are deemed a "No-show," your reservation will be cancelled and your campsite, F. W* w9 k1 }
will be made available to other campers.

If you are deemed a "No-show," you can claim your refund of the total camping fees
3 d! a/ ?6 Y7 ~4 O paid, minus a penalty of two-nights of camping and the original, non-refundable,
( w. W, t8 J0 v0 F' [2 a9 P- M, V reservation fee of $10.80. This is provided that you contact the park within 30 days
A4 F# Y, j c6 c( f of your originally scheduled departure date.

Thirty days after your originally scheduled departure date your camping fees become
