General Terms of Use

1. Availability of the reservation service: The Parks Canada Campground Reservation Service
4 q* a# M- y6 f! P is available to all campers by telephone at 1-877-RESERVE (1-877-737-3783) between
5 M6 q) ^ V! e 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. local park time or online 24-hours a day at www.pccamping.ca.+ u+ V2 }+ t3 k& @0 ?' R
You can make a camping reservation from the system launch dates up until 12:00 midnight
3 m+ n' q; r; ]) |! W$ ~ on the night prior to your arrival. Same day reservations are not accepted.
9 l, y1 _3 U+ }6 d( Q2. Times: All times quoted in these Terms of Use are the local time at the park where your0 S P; f( V4 i' b* @# Z: J
reservation is made (e.g. hours of operation are from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. local park2 `$ D5 b; r+ E1 J8 C# I- c
time – for a reservation made in Pacific Rim National Park Reserve in British Columbia,1 @0 T; t: G& o
this is 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Pacific Time but for a reservation made in Fundy National7 w4 l0 v' ~1 \/ z
Park in New Brunswick, this is 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Atlantic Time).

3. Fees are payable when the reservation is made: Both reservation fees and camping fees are* x% @: F2 `# J5 Z
due when you make your reservation.( Y, C& t8 j3 g/ ~
4. Daily entry fees: The fees paid when you make your reservation do not include your I$ V4 g% [. v( U7 ^
national park daily entry fees. You will be required to pay these daily entry fees upon
3 E7 E- f2 N2 B- d' K1 p* g0 u9 F arrival at the park.1 @' J8 x/ j6 J+ E; d% r$ E
5. Reservation fees: The reservation fee is non-refundable and covers the operating cost of5 ~) k( q+ H( x/ B4 y
the Parks Canada Reservation Service. This fee is charged per stay. A stay is defined as1 }4 q3 F& S% w
a series of consecutive nights (not exceeding the maximum length of stay) in the same% [( x8 W: d2 k1 e% R
campground. The fee to make a reservation is $10.80.7 c) w6 x: u8 r( _+ @6 n6 O
6. Camping fees: Camping fees are the fees paid for use of the campsite. They are charged on
7 [9 W2 {2 `, u2 A! c" j/ Y" B a per night basis and the price is dependent on: the park; the campground; the type of4 c! V5 Q$ U" g1 B! ] N4 v- G3 j
campsite; and the service type.
y4 Q& x$ Z' U' H7. Changes and cancellations: Fees are also charged if you change or cancel a previously
1 N7 d0 J1 B1 b confirmed reservation. The fee for each change or cancellation is $8.80 and is non-refundable.
0 {" p0 q6 S. o9 N1 f These fees, along with any additional costs for camping, are due when you make the

8. Methods of payment: All costs incurred through the use of this service can be paid by3 G5 r+ r0 g9 E2 ~5 Z4 {
credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express), certified cheque or international

9. Certified cheques and international money orders: Certified cheques and international

payment cannot be made on-line. When this method of payment is used, campsite reservations

All reservations using certified cheques or international money orders must be made at- r% n+ V' I6 D) V$ n+ A
least 35 days prior to your date of arrival at the campground. Payment must be received/ W: |' t5 F; [: g
for processing no later than 21 days from the date that the reservation was made.

10. Confirmation number: A confirmation number will be provided at the end of every completed3 W, y% M/ h; W9 B! F I4 _
reservation. If you do not receive a confirmation number, your reservation is not complete. . r; c5 P% f# G f; c' G, b. i
$ d/ H" t; v# q; T9 L- _2 ~1 A It is important that you take note of this confirmation number and bring it with you to9 c* G) [; \& S9 E" N: {8 u6 N/ M
the campground. It is must be given to Parks Canada staff so that they can register you$ D, X8 _) U4 ^ ~3 M5 W0 v
into the campground.

9 B& `, C9 e$ S2 @0 w; x* K For reservations made by telephone, you have the option of providing an email address ?! a j) m0 L0 r
to receive an electronic confirmation, and/or you may want to write down the confirmation

% t% m+ p9 B( P) h% {" k' ~ For reservations made on-line, you should enter your email address to receive an7 y8 t$ Q( w; ^+ m( A' G
electronic copy of your confirmation. You can also print out the confirmation screen,

money order, you will not receive a confirmation number until your payment has been

11. Changes before check-in: You can change your reservation until 2:00 p.m. (local park time): X6 D4 g5 g ~, {
on your scheduled day of arrival. Changes may include changes in date, campground (within1 h8 j8 D% I2 z0 D7 }( _& q/ M+ y0 L4 x
the same national park), campsite type, service type, etc. Changes can be made online I4 @4 }1 N+ E! @3 M3 z+ j
or by telephone. You will be charged a fee of $8.80 to make a change.% S% c0 W1 G6 l+ ]6 ?
12. Cancellations before check-in: Cancellations can be done online or by telephone. You5 a* Q- S% } `( d% D) e
will be charged a fee of $8.80 to cancel. A reservation can be cancelled before you( p* t" @: r, F9 l9 o
check-in to the campground, subject to the following:' A& a$ z, c" Q) H
- If you cancel your reservation prior to 2:00 p.m. on your scheduled day of arrival,& ?: T$ Y) z1 C0 `# V( s
you will get a full refund for all of the camping fees you paid when you made your( c3 O: n+ @' [" ?
reservation. The original $10.80 reservation fee is non-refundable and, in addition,) ]5 e5 N5 S( c! g' i( ~
you will be charged a cancellation fee of $8.80 for this transaction.4 P s" l# m- T( I; ~
- Cancellations made after 2:00 p.m. on your scheduled day of arrival and before/ `$ V g, a/ |% @, Z$ y/ [
11:00 a.m. on the following day will result in you losing the fees paid for one night. |* ^: y$ v, n; L p$ O
of camping. You will be refunded the fees paid for the rest of your stay. The original7 y1 j( J( s9 w

your campsite once you are registered. It is important to note that changes cannot be3 }, m/ W* I$ T* e9 s8 m
guaranteed and can only be accommodated if a suitable campsite is available. If a change

14. Shortening your stay: We recognize that plans change. There is no penalty for leaving
& \1 ^+ D, B- d' H6 e4 O2 c earlier than your original day of departure, provided that you notify the campground0 r) C$ J! }$ A+ D
prior to the check-out time on the day you want to leave. The $8.80 cancellation fee
8 R/ B! f0 F- y2 m7 w+ }# q will not apply and the unused portion of your camping fees will be reimbursed. Please
# @8 w/ L* s: k, O notify park staff at your earliest possible convenience if you plan on leaving early.* Y& {5 x$ v3 J$ w! A

15. Late Arrivals – Notification on the day of arrival until 11:00 a.m. the day after the
6 c, T2 G- z7 R0 U" Y% D expected day of arrival: If you are not going to be able to arrive at the campground2 @) r4 @2 O7 Y9 d2 a
on the day of arrival, but you still wish to retain your reservation, you must contact
& X+ q( Y, k- A$ C, G7 u s* G! ? the park office. If you do not know the telephone number for the park,
* E1 A. q9 f) a! v! ]9 m. T call 1-877-RESERVE (1-877-737-3783).
8 C# B) r; n: f& ]/ c16. Late Arrivals – Notification after 11:00 a.m. the day after the expected day of arrival:" A9 i& _! u# Y4 c+ W
If you are not able to make it to the campground before 11:00 a.m. the day after your8 c0 `- O% U3 Z
expected day of arrival, and you have not notified us, the fees paid for your first two6 `" [9 x2 p. R& a) S4 M1 l
nights of camping will not be refunded. You will also be considered a "No-show" (see
3 S% x' h' W2 j3 t! U5 q policy #17) and your reservation will be cancelled. Please let us know about any late
1 r+ K) l6 M- U s) e arrivals in advance.

5 V f0 F, m5 i3 j2 n C# t- x17. No-shows: If you do not arrive at the campground by 11:00 a.m. on the day after your 7 t% B6 M4 T# g* R) D7 @0 z! O
scheduled day of arrival, and if you have not contacted the park to inform them of
9 ]7 O5 m8 M9 I+ B4 {! o your late arrival, you will be deemed a "No-show."
) i9 S T! ?8 q: c; |$ v6 C+ Y: \: r7 u& d' x
When you are deemed a "No-show," your reservation will be cancelled and your campsite
$ G) b* }8 v9 I; h' K2 Y8 |+ U will be made available to other campers.
& s& a' L7 `1 K
: H, i4 B/ U& g) W8 b( [ If you are deemed a "No-show," you can claim your refund of the total camping fees% ]$ J) n) e" a9 Y& M; B6 V! X) _
paid, minus a penalty of two-nights of camping and the original, non-refundable,
; _9 O1 V) C- r% i: G reservation fee of $10.80. This is provided that you contact the park within 30 days
% F3 M8 P* Y) i2 z! p* L2 Y of your originally scheduled departure date.

Closures
