1. Availability of the reservation service: The Parks Canada Campground Reservation Service

1 M) G/ V, F% i% O% v 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. local park time or online 24-hours a day at www.pccamping.ca.
& L9 Y4 |7 H) {: a: |7 J9 z+ | You can make a camping reservation from the system launch dates up until 12:00 midnight
9 e }' i" R/ N l: p on the night prior to your arrival. Same day reservations are not accepted.
! W3 u x4 o# h2. Times: All times quoted in these Terms of Use are the local time at the park where your% ^$ y: E; g( b; i) e4 s
reservation is made (e.g. hours of operation are from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. local park6 r/ @. f! O2 P' |% ]2 T& _$ P
time – for a reservation made in Pacific Rim National Park Reserve in British Columbia,

Fees

3. Fees are payable when the reservation is made: Both reservation fees and camping fees are8 C: J0 W6 N/ i! j) z5 y9 a
due when you make your reservation.
$ b" w3 v/ {* j4. Daily entry fees: The fees paid when you make your reservation do not include your
~6 z7 n6 v" `6 D7 c! m6 C national park daily entry fees. You will be required to pay these daily entry fees upon* r' f8 s! w& @( ]( `1 G V, Q
arrival at the park., ^5 I( ^. X* }3 m+ v
5. Reservation fees: The reservation fee is non-refundable and covers the operating cost of k. k" B9 @' b; ^/ f3 O/ G
the Parks Canada Reservation Service. This fee is charged per stay. A stay is defined as3 a$ t2 U2 v& G" [
a series of consecutive nights (not exceeding the maximum length of stay) in the same: o3 @& P( M) `& a9 w& X8 x
campground. The fee to make a reservation is $10.80. v, h+ E; d, e7 g
6. Camping fees: Camping fees are the fees paid for use of the campsite. They are charged on
k/ O1 E' J, o/ j4 g a per night basis and the price is dependent on: the park; the campground; the type of# l8 V& e. j4 t+ w$ u' r! r* N
campsite; and the service type. . G% K# h* @6 U2 u) r, ?8 S+ g
7. Changes and cancellations: Fees are also charged if you change or cancel a previously
! l( w3 m0 d* v/ S2 P confirmed reservation. The fee for each change or cancellation is $8.80 and is non-refundable.4 g" D( D; c7 Y. F$ f
These fees, along with any additional costs for camping, are due when you make the

All reservations using certified cheques or international money orders must be made at3 i# n! W/ ~. N3 B h. Y/ W
least 35 days prior to your date of arrival at the campground. Payment must be received' Z* G) `7 y4 U9 f# c( W1 f( Q! R
for processing no later than 21 days from the date that the reservation was made.

We will inform you of your confirmation number by email or by telephone once your# }7 P" U8 t$ f# \" A
certified cheque or international money order payment has been received and processed. 3 R, g; U( c( Z7 o4 m: N* h

reservation. If you do not receive a confirmation number, your reservation is not complete.

It is important that you take note of this confirmation number and bring it with you to
' m! U" r8 J1 k" o( f the campground. It is must be given to Parks Canada staff so that they can register you

2 n6 b( E2 `( f/ l* Q6 [ For reservations made by telephone, you have the option of providing an email address5 G; V8 I; y H5 B- k, o3 X
to receive an electronic confirmation, and/or you may want to write down the confirmation0 z, s! [% X" v+ W% e; F- m
number when you receive it verbally from the Customer Service Associate.

Remember that if you pay for your reservation by certified cheque or international

Changes and cancellations before check-in 7 T" P9 t" l7 J

% M' [- @! e- Q; G+ j on your scheduled day of arrival. Changes may include changes in date, campground (within* ?$ W' E# Y# k* g! _; a/ _0 R
the same national park), campsite type, service type, etc. Changes can be made online) r+ z2 O3 M4 Y
or by telephone. You will be charged a fee of $8.80 to make a change.) U/ r) H& v9 {" W8 }* C
12. Cancellations before check-in: Cancellations can be done online or by telephone. You
! V$ }( D8 v2 r1 [ will be charged a fee of $8.80 to cancel. A reservation can be cancelled before you! n0 Q* p' v& }; q
check-in to the campground, subject to the following:
! g6 K1 p# M1 z - If you cancel your reservation prior to 2:00 p.m. on your scheduled day of arrival,
4 P0 p7 w' k1 y: t% T you will get a full refund for all of the camping fees you paid when you made your X8 y7 T. L" B9 a" [
reservation. The original $10.80 reservation fee is non-refundable and, in addition,
8 {8 {, X; Q6 F you will be charged a cancellation fee of $8.80 for this transaction.
+ R% ^! W5 w( N2 D8 P - Cancellations made after 2:00 p.m. on your scheduled day of arrival and before+ F: H* g9 K% W( }
11:00 a.m. on the following day will result in you losing the fees paid for one night. P/ _9 s' ~+ P+ K3 \3 w
of camping. You will be refunded the fees paid for the rest of your stay. The original

3 t+ l+ F4 `# K0 X0 i13. Changes after check-in: We will do our best to accommodate any changes you request to
h! ?7 c) V x, O, N your campsite once you are registered. It is important to note that changes cannot be/ k. b; t- m& v; K2 }
guaranteed and can only be accommodated if a suitable campsite is available. If a change" J/ H% n8 u, ]5 N- d1 H" ~
is requested, there may be a difference in the new camping fee charged based on the0 ^- u Y$ G8 \' |
services provided at the new campsite. The camping fee will be adjusted but the $8.80. Z; N# u/ z! S
change fee will not apply. Availability may be limited.
2 `' ~2 y+ y: A14. Shortening your stay: We recognize that plans change. There is no penalty for leaving5 f4 k- Y: k6 X; W
earlier than your original day of departure, provided that you notify the campground
# p/ N3 M& x) ~) g" i- O prior to the check-out time on the day you want to leave. The $8.80 cancellation fee1 [* @& c5 m: W6 @, |8 P
will not apply and the unused portion of your camping fees will be reimbursed. Please
7 H0 ?( ?& Q( I) D/ P notify park staff at your earliest possible convenience if you plan on leaving early.

15. Late Arrivals – Notification on the day of arrival until 11:00 a.m. the day after the( C' y' m) d" d% j
expected day of arrival: If you are not going to be able to arrive at the campground
: B9 {# L2 u) p: J/ p on the day of arrival, but you still wish to retain your reservation, you must contact" H: l5 l2 D& ?
the park office. If you do not know the telephone number for the park,4 O4 d) q }: p
call 1-877-RESERVE (1-877-737-3783).
6 t1 i9 t! w' ^4 k( d: X' p3 s16. Late Arrivals – Notification after 11:00 a.m. the day after the expected day of arrival:
6 q# a5 R2 x. H" o& q If you are not able to make it to the campground before 11:00 a.m. the day after your
% f; a6 B" E& X- e2 v expected day of arrival, and you have not notified us, the fees paid for your first two
+ L+ ?+ j9 i9 O6 k& s9 j% I nights of camping will not be refunded. You will also be considered a "No-show" (see
8 E' |5 Q/ P& ?" U+ j$ N policy #17) and your reservation will be cancelled. Please let us know about any late

17. No-shows: If you do not arrive at the campground by 11:00 a.m. on the day after your , J% ]% h- g' w5 _. O1 X
scheduled day of arrival, and if you have not contacted the park to inform them of

2 ^+ U- f* o/ f9 L When you are deemed a "No-show," your reservation will be cancelled and your campsite

If you are deemed a "No-show," you can claim your refund of the total camping fees
3 z+ m2 e- c- v$ ] paid, minus a penalty of two-nights of camping and the original, non-refundable,
) ~5 k1 A$ L Q+ g# M4 d/ A reservation fee of $10.80. This is provided that you contact the park within 30 days
& s0 ^8 [+ p: J1 }0 n' W3 W* J of your originally scheduled departure date.

Thirty days after your originally scheduled departure date your camping fees become
