General Terms of Use

is available to all campers by telephone at 1-877-RESERVE (1-877-737-3783) between( @* u" o% ^4 n& I6 |
7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. local park time or online 24-hours a day at www.pccamping.ca.& W+ ~4 c) m: Z* a' ~! p
You can make a camping reservation from the system launch dates up until 12:00 midnight
* S) S( k E/ C9 f6 a6 ~ on the night prior to your arrival. Same day reservations are not accepted. 0 Z6 O( J. d# t; H1 x# z5 W9 |% ^
2. Times: All times quoted in these Terms of Use are the local time at the park where your) G; r `. g y- U7 u0 D
reservation is made (e.g. hours of operation are from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. local park
) p2 P% ^- g/ \7 W7 \+ S time – for a reservation made in Pacific Rim National Park Reserve in British Columbia,
& c& x* _) D' s ~7 K this is 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Pacific Time but for a reservation made in Fundy National+ g4 T4 L% u N& m/ P0 U0 x( p
Park in New Brunswick, this is 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Atlantic Time).

3. Fees are payable when the reservation is made: Both reservation fees and camping fees are# g) q5 r3 i& c1 K0 w# T9 C& `9 L
due when you make your reservation.1 J4 k. `& _; l# S# W# T" |( U6 t
4. Daily entry fees: The fees paid when you make your reservation do not include your
* Z& U5 S8 q; w- `8 m7 s+ r national park daily entry fees. You will be required to pay these daily entry fees upon
, [2 I; N# {; T4 N, b1 G, Z arrival at the park.
' i1 X/ z% g# F: Z5. Reservation fees: The reservation fee is non-refundable and covers the operating cost of* O: E# x: w' Q4 {
the Parks Canada Reservation Service. This fee is charged per stay. A stay is defined as4 t- n: o4 m! m' \5 b
a series of consecutive nights (not exceeding the maximum length of stay) in the same/ E3 n% C- H/ n( A9 R
campground. The fee to make a reservation is $10.80.
+ o' W7 [/ @% ~1 ~6. Camping fees: Camping fees are the fees paid for use of the campsite. They are charged on6 `6 Z1 I& s# _( U) c2 r4 M
a per night basis and the price is dependent on: the park; the campground; the type of
+ `& {! B# F4 T" ]7 w& _ campsite; and the service type. . J' i: U# \0 X( N
7. Changes and cancellations: Fees are also charged if you change or cancel a previously
& g0 P3 \) H2 e" f9 C% ?% d confirmed reservation. The fee for each change or cancellation is $8.80 and is non-refundable.% p$ ^. Q: [+ }9 E
These fees, along with any additional costs for camping, are due when you make the' f, Z5 s! \8 @/ ]+ M# `! o
change or cancellation.

Methods of Payment

9. Certified cheques and international money orders: Certified cheques and international
3 w0 J& W* Y9 `' f2 D money orders are only accepted over the telephone; reservations using these forms of
# w6 C. c: f: d4 O4 Z payment cannot be made on-line. When this method of payment is used, campsite reservations# z1 O( ?" R8 w. S' v" }* N* W
will not be confirmed until the payment is received and processed.
8 {: d$ [3 \8 w; Q All reservations using certified cheques or international money orders must be made at: Y6 I; Y5 d* v
least 35 days prior to your date of arrival at the campground. Payment must be received5 b4 B+ ^. c3 D; i1 r) F1 \3 m! q& Y
for processing no later than 21 days from the date that the reservation was made.3 z& p2 k9 f7 u0 n

We will inform you of your confirmation number by email or by telephone once your( m0 W G0 O$ E. W4 T5 k
certified cheque or international money order payment has been received and processed.

10. Confirmation number: A confirmation number will be provided at the end of every completed
9 _3 W& _! T2 M% t8 Y) b reservation. If you do not receive a confirmation number, your reservation is not complete. % ~: \$ g, Y; |0 e2 s. q
- W" [! U$ D8 b; \. o" i9 g/ Q It is important that you take note of this confirmation number and bring it with you to! E! j4 ^$ e' c9 @1 z; n# n
the campground. It is must be given to Parks Canada staff so that they can register you3 L3 k A: `3 p4 g3 A. `3 Z: L
into the campground.

For reservations made by telephone, you have the option of providing an email address

For reservations made on-line, you should enter your email address to receive an

11. Changes before check-in: You can change your reservation until 2:00 p.m. (local park time)

the same national park), campsite type, service type, etc. Changes can be made online
3 U+ w8 g6 M* c$ n R or by telephone. You will be charged a fee of $8.80 to make a change.
, ]( k2 G; Y1 g* F1 p0 H7 S3 v12. Cancellations before check-in: Cancellations can be done online or by telephone. You4 f# d$ L* \* i& h( W9 K
will be charged a fee of $8.80 to cancel. A reservation can be cancelled before you
- e6 g; Z. w3 ~! v/ v& q* [ check-in to the campground, subject to the following:8 s1 D6 x% T: V% u% Z4 g
- If you cancel your reservation prior to 2:00 p.m. on your scheduled day of arrival,
5 a5 h5 S) c/ V1 u3 T5 C you will get a full refund for all of the camping fees you paid when you made your+ Q8 f/ S+ h" X' X0 T
reservation. The original $10.80 reservation fee is non-refundable and, in addition, Z( x; a$ {! l f' h+ k7 c6 }8 S* G
you will be charged a cancellation fee of $8.80 for this transaction.2 H3 j7 G( w3 I5 }3 k
- Cancellations made after 2:00 p.m. on your scheduled day of arrival and before
1 f3 i: J. K# A" h. N. h 11:00 a.m. on the following day will result in you losing the fees paid for one night, B1 N% z5 n/ A3 B3 @9 ?
of camping. You will be refunded the fees paid for the rest of your stay. The original

13. Changes after check-in: We will do our best to accommodate any changes you request to5 [) M' }$ h/ u( B
your campsite once you are registered. It is important to note that changes cannot be
! S/ J. R: G M& g# a. v3 ] guaranteed and can only be accommodated if a suitable campsite is available. If a change" h/ G) j7 p8 B. _. z, n
is requested, there may be a difference in the new camping fee charged based on the+ e; Z) p- m V
services provided at the new campsite. The camping fee will be adjusted but the $8.803 A G+ g. s* j' ?5 E: N2 I5 f
change fee will not apply. Availability may be limited.# ^4 B; ?6 I$ J8 P/ N5 S
14. Shortening your stay: We recognize that plans change. There is no penalty for leaving- P6 S# P) h8 { E4 C& k
earlier than your original day of departure, provided that you notify the campground
0 |4 [ @3 S( i6 t prior to the check-out time on the day you want to leave. The $8.80 cancellation fee5 q. E2 X& p$ a$ n, A2 w& h
will not apply and the unused portion of your camping fees will be reimbursed. Please) v- Y+ u# @, X# `' h+ q N: o
notify park staff at your earliest possible convenience if you plan on leaving early.

Late Arrivals

15. Late Arrivals – Notification on the day of arrival until 11:00 a.m. the day after the
& j% e" Y( j1 i6 w4 [ expected day of arrival: If you are not going to be able to arrive at the campground8 U' y8 X' J6 |" } g a
on the day of arrival, but you still wish to retain your reservation, you must contact
3 Y# z( k* U& F1 E4 ]4 L7 M9 d the park office. If you do not know the telephone number for the park, J4 U+ _: ?. q5 W
call 1-877-RESERVE (1-877-737-3783).
1 Q! l7 V( |$ C1 J16. Late Arrivals – Notification after 11:00 a.m. the day after the expected day of arrival:
2 Z; z( W. c9 i3 U) O2 e) \ If you are not able to make it to the campground before 11:00 a.m. the day after your
+ g6 L( B, T7 c7 | expected day of arrival, and you have not notified us, the fees paid for your first two) H* S0 P g2 p1 H' S
nights of camping will not be refunded. You will also be considered a "No-show" (see" t1 N5 {5 X, z1 K- n9 y
policy #17) and your reservation will be cancelled. Please let us know about any late: J* Q2 ?1 o1 r
arrivals in advance.

No-Shows
) y* J& {+ X2 t5 Q
# ?% Y! Q& m- w( Z0 c17. No-shows: If you do not arrive at the campground by 11:00 a.m. on the day after your
& b, j* p e3 a! a scheduled day of arrival, and if you have not contacted the park to inform them of. }2 V4 f p9 V1 k1 ]% R* V8 j
your late arrival, you will be deemed a "No-show."

' G' ~5 }4 r, m) _- M- Q When you are deemed a "No-show," your reservation will be cancelled and your campsite m+ J/ k4 x: Z3 N7 _
will be made available to other campers.

If you are deemed a "No-show," you can claim your refund of the total camping fees
+ j! M& t7 t* C' C5 b& Q paid, minus a penalty of two-nights of camping and the original, non-refundable,7 n: `9 b+ q; [! U
reservation fee of $10.80. This is provided that you contact the park within 30 days6 F* U' w* ?) }5 A0 L" G
of your originally scheduled departure date.

Thirty days after your originally scheduled departure date your camping fees become
