JOB DESCRIPTION:
SALES CLERKS
( \+ ?' J- o4 c+ \1 \Job Purpose
Every full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
operation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
# x% F* I9 ]; H$ m% cthat the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
customers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
3 L& I  F; @! p9 c; L. `the Store Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
5 i. v+ a4 _! h. o: C0 rCustomer Service
& O: ], [6 T4 @. [# r9 F% Z• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
( x4 p! u7 t" _# |) e. y0 I  F• Assist customers find what they are looking for
• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
0 K, z: b# N0 n4 l" _/ A• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
. E* M' k6 {: q, m4 b& n( a/ Sstock
- {8 V! M' P1 _  d• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
looks under 25 years of age
Store Responsibilities
• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
  A( ~$ F1 L& q, k2 L• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
# \" N9 R; j) ?% N; P• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
• Protect company assets at all times
• Close the store (key holders)
' D6 s" y) d- M* s• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager
Qualifications
• High School graduate
• Criminal record check.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
( M! ^" e% J  e* Z4 y2 u+ f• Good problem solving skills
: h8 i0 `& t+ ^2 h• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and
changes in strategies

Physical Requirements
• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings
- m7 k# x# e& q1 Z. a# J' ^4 b• Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds
• Standing for extended periods of time
• Comfortable climbing ladders
