Department Information  
Gas Development is comprised of natural gas business development, Enbridge investments in existing gas infrastructure and investments in long-term gas development initiatives.  The Group currently manages investments totaling $1 billion, with earnings of approximately $100 million.   This new Senior Business Advisor position will report directly to the Director Finance & Control, Gas Development.  The position will work closely with Business Development Management to ensure financial planning models for existing businesses reflect the most current commercial & economic outlooks.  This position will also develop initial financial models, and analyze risks and opportunities, related to potential new businesses identified by Gas Development.  
Responsibilities  
* s  t; ^! d* e" u Maintain and analyze financial models of existing Gas Development investments to ensure financial performance meets corporate expectations; where appropriate, identify opportunities to optimize commercial values;
% d  p1 m3 J, y0 [+ y: Z* }9 G
Work closely with Gas Development Management to ensure financial models reflect current commercial contracts and economic / financial outlooks;

Ongoing risk assessment and determine impacts for financial planning;

' B7 U, w! t9 s: V7 [3 @2 uLiaise with senior financial representatives from partners/JVs to ensure an understanding of key financial/commercial issues and the impact to financial results and forecasts;

" h, Q6 ~9 y" EWorking closely with Gas Development Management, will develop initial financial models and evaluations of natural gas infrastructure opportunities valued in the range of $100 million to $1 billion+;

Work closely with Senior Advisors/Managers of Corporate Development & Investment Review to ensure consistency of financial evaluation techniques for new opportunities and ensure clear and timely communication of project risks and opportunities;

Provide financial support for investment proposals to Senior Gas Division & Enbridge Management;

7 J* M( H* j6 F' ISpecific responsibilities include: preparation and review of financial models; managing the financial assessment of commercial structures and operating environments, provide advice on key financial assumptions; and assess opportunities & risks of current / proposed investments; determination of asset values/bid prices; use of appropriate valuation methodologies; and due diligence reviews.

. K4 z; T3 I% D, s# I# y1 @Assist Director in developing and analyzing financial results and forecasts (annual budgets, forecasts, and long range plan).

4 ?$ P/ S7 \# U3 |; C) e% t Business/Finance Degree coupled with an MBA, CFA or accounting designation.

8 J# q. p+ d$ z6 m' P- H1 }) g10-15 years financial experience at progressively senior analyst/advisor levels within the energy industry;

Extensive experience in financial analysis, accounting, financial planning or strategic planning;
