Y0 G# X9 } Gas Development is comprised of natural gas business development, Enbridge investments in existing gas infrastructure and investments in long-term gas development initiatives.  The Group currently manages investments totaling $1 billion, with earnings of approximately $100 million.   This new Senior Business Advisor position will report directly to the Director Finance & Control, Gas Development.  The position will work closely with Business Development Management to ensure financial planning models for existing businesses reflect the most current commercial & economic outlooks.  This position will also develop initial financial models, and analyze risks and opportunities, related to potential new businesses identified by Gas Development.  
Responsibilities  
" Y( i8 a, n, t, [ Maintain and analyze financial models of existing Gas Development investments to ensure financial performance meets corporate expectations; where appropriate, identify opportunities to optimize commercial values;

9 e% b# j) A- r3 V% H- j1 ?) Q7 g# aWork closely with Gas Development Management to ensure financial models reflect current commercial contracts and economic / financial outlooks;

Ongoing risk assessment and determine impacts for financial planning;

Liaise with senior financial representatives from partners/JVs to ensure an understanding of key financial/commercial issues and the impact to financial results and forecasts;

2 ^( L& R) q& U2 m! CWorking closely with Gas Development Management, will develop initial financial models and evaluations of natural gas infrastructure opportunities valued in the range of $100 million to $1 billion+;

, a& V, _8 \% j2 pWork closely with Senior Advisors/Managers of Corporate Development & Investment Review to ensure consistency of financial evaluation techniques for new opportunities and ensure clear and timely communication of project risks and opportunities;
* n. |3 `( d% @Manage the input of various Corporate Departments in assessing new and existing capital investments;

9 K. a( V9 e, H. ?Provide financial support for investment proposals to Senior Gas Division & Enbridge Management;

Specific responsibilities include: preparation and review of financial models; managing the financial assessment of commercial structures and operating environments, provide advice on key financial assumptions; and assess opportunities & risks of current / proposed investments; determination of asset values/bid prices; use of appropriate valuation methodologies; and due diligence reviews.

Assist Director in developing and analyzing financial results and forecasts (annual budgets, forecasts, and long range plan).  
Qualifications  
7 d& E! p  }& K) x% Y; Q2 T5 p Business/Finance Degree coupled with an MBA, CFA or accounting designation.

! b: C& \$ i5 J  U5 k( T- _10-15 years financial experience at progressively senior analyst/advisor levels within the energy industry;
& Q0 c, {, F9 J& x0 C1 ]' G* C! y. X
Gas industry experience preferred;

* l5 B9 r4 t, s+ ~5 RExtensive experience in financial analysis, accounting, financial planning or strategic planning;

4 ]! N# }- S/ [( a4 Q% O$ [Experience in business evaluations and due diligence with respect to large scale energy projects;
