5 a8 a2 z6 Z; e Gas Development is comprised of natural gas business development, Enbridge investments in existing gas infrastructure and investments in long-term gas development initiatives.  The Group currently manages investments totaling $1 billion, with earnings of approximately $100 million.   This new Senior Business Advisor position will report directly to the Director Finance & Control, Gas Development.  The position will work closely with Business Development Management to ensure financial planning models for existing businesses reflect the most current commercial & economic outlooks.  This position will also develop initial financial models, and analyze risks and opportunities, related to potential new businesses identified by Gas Development.

5 h  b; _& x, l  o- C8 C Maintain and analyze financial models of existing Gas Development investments to ensure financial performance meets corporate expectations; where appropriate, identify opportunities to optimize commercial values;

3 w/ A/ {1 U" j+ P2 D6 EWork closely with Gas Development Management to ensure financial models reflect current commercial contracts and economic / financial outlooks;

8 O& \$ l7 A) e( XOngoing risk assessment and determine impacts for financial planning;

Liaise with senior financial representatives from partners/JVs to ensure an understanding of key financial/commercial issues and the impact to financial results and forecasts;

Working closely with Gas Development Management, will develop initial financial models and evaluations of natural gas infrastructure opportunities valued in the range of $100 million to $1 billion+;

' G2 C& X6 \! m) s6 NWork closely with Senior Advisors/Managers of Corporate Development & Investment Review to ensure consistency of financial evaluation techniques for new opportunities and ensure clear and timely communication of project risks and opportunities;
# r. ^6 Q6 \, x* m5 `Manage the input of various Corporate Departments in assessing new and existing capital investments;

! C; }3 f+ F% G0 rProvide financial support for investment proposals to Senior Gas Division & Enbridge Management;

Specific responsibilities include: preparation and review of financial models; managing the financial assessment of commercial structures and operating environments, provide advice on key financial assumptions; and assess opportunities & risks of current / proposed investments; determination of asset values/bid prices; use of appropriate valuation methodologies; and due diligence reviews.

Assist Director in developing and analyzing financial results and forecasts (annual budgets, forecasts, and long range plan).  
Qualifications  
) t/ ?9 g( `# L Business/Finance Degree coupled with an MBA, CFA or accounting designation.

10-15 years financial experience at progressively senior analyst/advisor levels within the energy industry;

Gas industry experience preferred;
0 Q2 b, W3 [- @3 P
Extensive experience in financial analysis, accounting, financial planning or strategic planning;
; x1 n# P5 @$ b% ^
Experience in business evaluations and due diligence with respect to large scale energy projects;

/ j  q1 @/ V2 a  Q9 [5 [! H9 U5 \Strong business acumen, collaboration and interpersonal skills;

A high degree of personal initiative;
