6 F# t- N6 W1 v8 {3 j0 M1 iReporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
( B+ p; b# f: X" d9 D        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

QUALIFICATIONS:
$ z3 l. E  ^8 A$ d- c•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
/ ^; ^& |4 h1 d6 r•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
* i' L9 D& Z( t9 [0 f' ~/ }•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
6 w$ a- G) L. q, G+ O3 q•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
