Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
: H6 Z1 K; a# ~        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
5 z5 S0 j# G2 m/ _. m1 B0 e        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

QUALIFICATIONS:
•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
6 d/ N; d( N% o: d  q0 n•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
! M7 l* |, L  Z- `6 n•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office

•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
