+ Y  Q8 s7 O% l# Y1 B2 mReporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

2 u3 a/ B# U' H* D0 AKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
) v' a( G, z/ \        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
, x( k( e' x1 O2 d' _        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients
( V0 C( m; }% n
QUALIFICATIONS:
0 A- U3 M2 p. A4 Q•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
& {8 y' D4 n% _# F•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
' ^! D% D+ G$ w3 F. q•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
+ {# i5 s) `! [% w( U8 e+ v0 Z3 K8 A•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
