" x& `/ j1 u9 e& j/ D* mReporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

: d2 Y, [- j, T8 J+ v8 z  QKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

QUALIFICATIONS:
' M3 O9 {6 T, n$ j- C•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
. }, P" r' U6 D7 c& L' a- L5 ?) s•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
6 R: {' F- z8 U8 Z4 v•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
5 }+ ]. r/ p$ m( X" x/ b# V& {- K  l•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
( Q) U' r+ n9 b7 b* V. u) U# f•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
  i, |0 K! h! R& m2 P' P# t% U3 a•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
