, c( ~& f: C( {- b: m VReporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

# E6 X o# y/ Y. O* gKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
; N: S$ J8 V8 L8 \7 m Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
, f# j9 \, y: F9 s Review, develop and improve processes and procedures1 d: S8 _8 J5 u$ e! X ?
 Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs$ D- n( P% E7 T6 F, D( R( M. ?6 C! j
 Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients
! K8 w7 N% F2 f# g, q. l5 i( @* j3 F% [
QUALIFICATIONS: 7 \& n8 S1 t9 C, }4 E" y( Z2 u
• Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
! B6 S. `( X2 L- i% [; u0 m• Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for residential or commercial buildings
! K! s" n" u1 O* ]0 k• Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
g I8 o& C9 ?! L• Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
- c# b$ W3 m# f7 Y% p' p• Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
- b; y2 _9 l+ m |# f% x1 k• Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
' m! i: k# I2 ]( F• Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. r/ ~" @/ L0 q Y
• Ability to communicate with all levels of management
