: V% X0 o6 X: }2 W& k0 ^% u& _3 n
-        facilitate recruitment of participants for the Keshotu Leadership Academy
-        conduct interviews to ensure participants have necessary qualities

Organize Leadership Training Sessions
3 k) R/ u9 q2 W0 v' x4 z-        locate an appropriate venue for weekly meetings
, L. k; t' r7 Q# N- w-        set up a plan for the span of the project (Jan 08 – Dec 08) for weekly meetings
-        use project proposal to ensure time is spent with all identified areas

Plan and Facilitate identified public events
-        with youth participants

/ `( [( r1 ?5 p5 H7 `' qMedia coverage
-        work with media consultant to ensure good coverage of project

Networking
-        attend meetings relevant to organizational mandate
-        create and maintain relationships with community groups, individuals, institutions that are interested in race relations

Professional Development
- [  c. @; w+ v8 @9 }3 e-        Be informed on current issues on race relations and other areas relevant to the position.

6 u: F  q3 r1 j-        With program manager, create proposals to continue funding of this project.
-        Also with program manager, create a logic model for each project with activities; short, medium, and long term outcomes; and indicators

5 F9 g7 A8 D6 Z, i& L) V: |Reports to Funders and Program Manager
-        submit quarterly reports to program manager and timely reports according to requirements of each funder

Project Evaluation
- |* N- X3 Y( g9 g' i-        work with external evaluation consultant to collect appropriate data for evaluation
! T  F4 s& R* ~! B9 n$ L) t, Q-        include in all interim and final reports, outcome measures using indicators from logic model

0 p7 g9 }: B, ?+ C+ Z-        excellent knowledge of the issue of racism in Canadian society
# v* D# J7 U" y( T1 v0 ~+ |  w) F-        demonstrated leadership abilities with youth
% ?1 Q7 T, b8 K5 X-        experience with project coordination
-        degree or diploma in human services field
9 @5 O1 h3 }5 i7 D-        developed knowledge and skills in one or more performing arts
