Primary Focus  
6 K6 y+ L1 U! z* n8 X8 l0 b Responsible to manage electrical critical drawings ensuring compliance with Enbridge Drawing Standards.

( i) Y" @( l: z, u% NResponsible to provide electrical design expertise to internal and external stakeholders.

* c" y7 ^9 _0 o( e8 d3 U( @  ZResponsible to lead a team of technologists and CADD operators to produce new or modify existing electrical drawings in support of engineering and operations projects.

- t0 V3 }4 m7 w- @% @9 oAchieved through the review, update and development of electrical critical drawings (main power distribution switching diagrams, single line diagrams, P&ID's and communication diagrams) at all Enbridge CDN facilities by:

Managing critical drawing construction and as-built processes as established within the Enbridge Drawing Standards,

Performing site audits with operations personnel to identify existing information gaps and incorporate findings,
( m5 h4 ?/ K* R- z
Engaging with LP, MP and regional operations engineering groups ensuring that critical drawing requirements are properly addressed throughout the project stage gates,

Developing and enforcing a plan to ensure that once critical drawings are made current that they are maintained and kept up to date,

Performing quality assurance checks on 30%, 60%, 90%, IFT and IFC design drawings developed by engineering service providers,

Applying design expertise with a goal towards continuous improvement.

Electrical design is in compliance with industry code and company standards

Achieved through:

Providing electrical design expertise to projects,

Providing project managers and engineers with conceptual electrical design for projects of varying complexity,

& I$ w" F% L3 K8 x" qLeading a group of staff and contract CADD personnel to review and/or prepare detailed drawings that are in compliance with the Enbridge Drawing Standards for assigned engineering and operations projects,

7 B# v4 Y& A0 E% D. k  cIncorporating new technology and best practices with focus on solving business problems and operational requirements in a competitive environment.  
Qualifications  
! F1 L! ^8 W6 ~- x Electrical Engineering Technologist diploma from a recognized technical institution.

10+ years of progressively complex detailed electrical design experience in an engineering environment.
6 Q  @6 S4 N5 R+ Q, b$ |
5+ years AutoCAD experience.
7 Q$ D+ f! h3 i* I8 j
$ _9 m. g# Y$ p4 k1 j/ hRegistered Engineering Technologist (RET) or Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) desired.

3 L: J5 I. }$ g9 K! k$ B) M$ `+ JExcellent interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communications skills.
