Around 2:25 p.m., Edmonton Fire Rescue received two 911 calls to 50th Street and 67th Avenue. One was reporting a fire, the other reporting that someone had been injured at the same location.

( O: e4 L4 a. d! zFire rescue's Tim Wilson tells iNews880 there was a flash fire in a lab where the chemical Toluene is housed.2 U, {0 U2 W! i5 u# l! j
: }' ]5 J4 W2 E3 G; S6 d. F- j"The fire took place in a room at this facility that did have some sort of flammable products stored in there," says Wilson, "and somehow, this ignited and caused a fire.". J* k! f9 x7 f, U

5 q |& f& Z7 J"We had eight units on scene, with about 30 firefighters," he says. "The fire was out in just under 45 minutes, and was under control in 15."
