this multi-service agency. With over 200 staff and an operating budget of $8 million, YWCA

6 a) I$ X* X i" n: u3 [9 ?1 d3 o• Providing leadership, general supervision, management and control of the operations of
8 S( K7 T! c O3 ^/ X6 Rthe YWCA on a day-to-day basis in accordance with the plans and policies approved by 6 o: p/ k1 L, r# S- C* e
the Board of Directors;
& a6 P8 s: X, j, z9 ^• Reporting to the board on a timely basis all relevant information regarding operations 8 @% x9 l5 A7 g2 R
including financial, policy and personnel issues and provides information necessary to
; O' c X) q) u3 O* v3 Qenable the Board to exercise their responsibilities; & d, R3 d2 b5 r3 {/ {
• Contributing to the development and achievement of the 1 -3 year operational plan and |" E0 u0 Z8 e) a7 K. N/ ~% H
objectives ensuring that the plan is consistent with the strategic directions established by
" i, {( |- T& r& v; B& C gthe board; 3 v7 c; O& {4 ~( R
• Developing and executing the annual operational and capital budget; 4 C% } P% w& e. {2 ] Q) W+ u
• Nurturing relationships with key stakeholders and community organizations to champion % O6 N/ i* Y3 D j
the development, implementation and successful execution of YWCA service offerings; 5 a" a, r5 S, k; K3 m
• Reviewing existing policies and programs to recommend new or revise to meet the
" n# [# b( C' j) P, A" `changing needs of the organization and community; 3 a: |1 p7 v7 e
• Identifying, qualifying and initiating opportunities to meet the current and growth revenue ( i7 F" k' F. U# H. y: H
commitments; ! J+ B2 L, E2 M5 V2 |1 i
• Overseeing contract negotiation with various stakeholders;
" {3 P; b/ @! g. p! Z" e( B• Fostering an environment of fair treatment of employees and volunteers through effective
) ~0 X2 Y- V/ b6 e0 b0 X0 vselection, development, motivation, retention and appraisal systems; 2 ?4 g+ H3 N- F( \ J6 D
• Encouraging the development of high-performance team members motivated to succeed; 2 q! w% k; w& M4 x
• Enhancing the public imagine and working relationship within our community to
' n2 w4 o. m# q3 L) d1 geffectively and positively represent the association;

the implementation of systems to manage these risks;
7 Y9 [7 K& F1 v: ?' v+ Y. D• Establishing, in conjunction with the Board Chair and Board, an annual list of personal
) @ |5 ~) J; u3 Qperformance objectives (within the context of the strategic plan) to be achieved by the ED 2 L; ~: S+ ]8 n2 e

• Conducting affairs of the YWCA in accordance with the commonly accepted ethical / j' A6 z: F6 D$ R# M# `) u% w
practices, consistent with the YWCA Vision, Mission and Values and the policies of

- r# F( T+ O9 i• Minimum of 10 years experience managing multi-service non-profit organizations; + U& g+ S- _4 [5 p# @1 N
• Strong knowledge of government contracts and demonstrated negotiation % I/ T- }) f, A, i
abilities; , ^/ \- B: n( ~9 p" N. Q7 I
• Exceptional interpersonal skills including knowledge of Public Relations,
5 T6 K z- i/ C* b$ r, B! J0 DNetworking and Fundraising;
2 c; ~3 V4 Q; }5 E• Strong business acumen and familiarity with risk management, budgeting, forecasting & @ |7 P P$ F" J3 T- k
