Reporting to the Board of Directors, the ED is responsible for development, evolution and , G8 m2 w P9 n" d' A6 A

• Providing leadership, general supervision, management and control of the operations of % r* |- b9 K( k) z# O
the YWCA on a day-to-day basis in accordance with the plans and policies approved by

, U5 q8 Q& ~9 C0 N6 {7 ~including financial, policy and personnel issues and provides information necessary to

]1 Y) U7 A* {. E' T• Nurturing relationships with key stakeholders and community organizations to champion

• Reviewing existing policies and programs to recommend new or revise to meet the

2 c; s" \7 N" ]- g• Identifying, qualifying and initiating opportunities to meet the current and growth revenue

selection, development, motivation, retention and appraisal systems; 7 t5 b# l1 O2 J$ }

• Enhancing the public imagine and working relationship within our community to

the implementation of systems to manage these risks;
' E; T9 V2 {! s- n9 c/ n3 ~. M• Establishing, in conjunction with the Board Chair and Board, an annual list of personal
. b5 L! k3 A' xperformance objectives (within the context of the strategic plan) to be achieved by the ED ' Q* ~) ?! `) r! j

• Conducting affairs of the YWCA in accordance with the commonly accepted ethical " ~8 C; @( _: V5 M D
practices, consistent with the YWCA Vision, Mission and Values and the policies of

Required Experience
) |* ]# A7 [' z/ K) s6 x) l& I$ B• Minimum of 10 years experience managing multi-service non-profit organizations;
1 Q) ^+ ~+ m: t3 I• Strong knowledge of government contracts and demonstrated negotiation ' B/ I: T2 [3 A9 o, l* d
abilities;
% s* V! c! t9 X5 s( W& }3 y# {• Exceptional interpersonal skills including knowledge of Public Relations,

• Strong business acumen and familiarity with risk management, budgeting, forecasting : x' K7 O; C/ h- p0 R
and financial statements; and
