the YWCA on a day-to-day basis in accordance with the plans and policies approved by 8 b; N9 N, u# Z* k0 G, N' u

• Reporting to the board on a timely basis all relevant information regarding operations

• Contributing to the development and achievement of the 1 -3 year operational plan and 5 K6 q8 M$ V, C
objectives ensuring that the plan is consistent with the strategic directions established by 9 }, b$ \: M. u. g

• Developing and executing the annual operational and capital budget; 1 \6 H" d9 e; s1 Q
• Nurturing relationships with key stakeholders and community organizations to champion r! w" `; H( B
the development, implementation and successful execution of YWCA service offerings;
4 E+ q3 C' R( T• Reviewing existing policies and programs to recommend new or revise to meet the

• Identifying, qualifying and initiating opportunities to meet the current and growth revenue

• Overseeing contract negotiation with various stakeholders; ) |# h3 n0 Y( r+ Y0 z+ N% S
• Fostering an environment of fair treatment of employees and volunteers through effective ; D0 J4 r$ t* t, D: T3 d* W' c
selection, development, motivation, retention and appraisal systems;

• Enhancing the public imagine and working relationship within our community to

• Establishing, in conjunction with the Board Chair and Board, an annual list of personal 7 \% o# N- H/ o/ _" Q4 p
performance objectives (within the context of the strategic plan) to be achieved by the ED

• Conducting affairs of the YWCA in accordance with the commonly accepted ethical , o& T2 c1 t6 l
practices, consistent with the YWCA Vision, Mission and Values and the policies of

Required Experience
: k& ^+ X1 a) S' n+ _. A• Minimum of 10 years experience managing multi-service non-profit organizations;
/ o8 {' m) A7 }; e• Strong knowledge of government contracts and demonstrated negotiation 5 h# c k5 g" M' a( c
abilities; + j# b `3 r( x! Z0 h9 K! x) \
• Exceptional interpersonal skills including knowledge of Public Relations, : K3 `# ^ w. R# X; Z0 G4 s
Networking and Fundraising; - ~' A1 N& S8 D- W
• Strong business acumen and familiarity with risk management, budgeting, forecasting
