5 x5 _# B# P! [* d% ]$ p" y• Providing leadership, general supervision, management and control of the operations of
+ G# r; w! g; d6 x9 [" S; Kthe YWCA on a day-to-day basis in accordance with the plans and policies approved by : `3 i" n& V; i/ L C

• Reporting to the board on a timely basis all relevant information regarding operations - F- O8 ~1 I' V$ ]1 v( O8 i
including financial, policy and personnel issues and provides information necessary to

objectives ensuring that the plan is consistent with the strategic directions established by

• Developing and executing the annual operational and capital budget;

• Reviewing existing policies and programs to recommend new or revise to meet the

• Identifying, qualifying and initiating opportunities to meet the current and growth revenue
: ]8 O2 B8 E1 Ocommitments;
$ ^) J2 X. W/ q- ]' S# u! G% V• Overseeing contract negotiation with various stakeholders; , L+ Y2 Y9 F* ^, V: E) y$ [- S
• Fostering an environment of fair treatment of employees and volunteers through effective
% \: ?; _1 `4 x) Mselection, development, motivation, retention and appraisal systems; - m( d9 W( [. m+ P) W. E
• Encouraging the development of high-performance team members motivated to succeed; 0 @# p' g" h X0 y
• Enhancing the public imagine and working relationship within our community to

• Identifying the YWCA’s principle risks, reviewing those risks with the Board, and ensuring 9 d: w6 Y8 u, k
the implementation of systems to manage these risks; 4 i9 E# C: z% A
• Establishing, in conjunction with the Board Chair and Board, an annual list of personal
; j# M( g% Z9 B- b( kperformance objectives (within the context of the strategic plan) to be achieved by the ED 3 b1 |8 i* l. B- x
the forthcoming year; ; a, H: V/ Z1 F% v/ R' G
• Conducting affairs of the YWCA in accordance with the commonly accepted ethical
2 G) v9 O- P' ^' y1 Vpractices, consistent with the YWCA Vision, Mission and Values and the policies of

• Post secondary degree or equivalent experience.

Required Experience : |9 ~. G, z) V. J& h% H
• Minimum of 10 years experience managing multi-service non-profit organizations; 0 j0 p4 w! W4 U+ [& h7 W2 ]
• Strong knowledge of government contracts and demonstrated negotiation ; t3 z. F8 E- h% j9 y
abilities;
/ b$ P1 |0 y, @. M' \& R! E9 {3 O• Exceptional interpersonal skills including knowledge of Public Relations,
4 b2 j& J0 r. u- DNetworking and Fundraising; ( }* V8 W: R+ ?$ x* `/ v0 y( I
• Strong business acumen and familiarity with risk management, budgeting, forecasting 0 d2 N y& B9 g: Z8 k9 p5 p
