this multi-service agency. With over 200 staff and an operating budget of $8 million, YWCA

0 V$ F8 T: D( Z/ j% u• Providing leadership, general supervision, management and control of the operations of ! I0 _% I ^; V" z, X: R! o
the YWCA on a day-to-day basis in accordance with the plans and policies approved by 9 P& p9 R, F5 N4 C
the Board of Directors;
3 P! g5 o8 D/ z5 [# z• Reporting to the board on a timely basis all relevant information regarding operations
' }4 S, q- T" aincluding financial, policy and personnel issues and provides information necessary to
0 F% ^- P5 m( \3 genable the Board to exercise their responsibilities; 5 P0 h( @& l; C* r2 x6 ^/ ?+ s
• Contributing to the development and achievement of the 1 -3 year operational plan and
) N, x. o8 m5 A `8 e" Zobjectives ensuring that the plan is consistent with the strategic directions established by ! I0 I# `1 N$ D6 L0 l2 Z1 \
the board;
: U, j5 J' v3 r: m• Developing and executing the annual operational and capital budget;
2 Y! N4 i: c2 K/ K2 U5 B• Nurturing relationships with key stakeholders and community organizations to champion
: n, z% R" F% m3 b0 v% Lthe development, implementation and successful execution of YWCA service offerings;
0 d( ^& E$ y5 t) O0 M! n1 d, q. I• Reviewing existing policies and programs to recommend new or revise to meet the
. v# p, l8 q7 S5 Ychanging needs of the organization and community; ]* ?+ {; v, c# I
• Identifying, qualifying and initiating opportunities to meet the current and growth revenue
9 f2 d# W4 }3 ~, x. A+ n% _commitments;
0 @1 ^' \4 R; A, j; r• Overseeing contract negotiation with various stakeholders;
* f" U- X; V0 A; q• Fostering an environment of fair treatment of employees and volunteers through effective
4 t7 u( X' L* H/ n* B1 Wselection, development, motivation, retention and appraisal systems;
; W/ J! Q, N" S6 k• Encouraging the development of high-performance team members motivated to succeed;
, d n* X) W# \/ J$ R% ]9 v• Enhancing the public imagine and working relationship within our community to
7 M: W; C* M7 l7 u. ^+ leffectively and positively represent the association;

• Identifying the YWCA’s principle risks, reviewing those risks with the Board, and ensuring
" [4 c) e" l, D5 M+ H [, mthe implementation of systems to manage these risks; * b8 Y0 s4 w5 o9 a# w
• Establishing, in conjunction with the Board Chair and Board, an annual list of personal 5 t; C- \- [2 s$ L7 I2 n
performance objectives (within the context of the strategic plan) to be achieved by the ED
) x4 Y' N7 c othe forthcoming year;
g. ~% \) N9 p9 [; d• Conducting affairs of the YWCA in accordance with the commonly accepted ethical
* c0 O* C& w9 D3 r( vpractices, consistent with the YWCA Vision, Mission and Values and the policies of 5 n) n" ~2 Y+ `/ e' B7 }

Required Experience * j6 N2 t" S- C' A, v
• Minimum of 10 years experience managing multi-service non-profit organizations; $ O8 p* }( L) B
• Strong knowledge of government contracts and demonstrated negotiation ( A6 X6 q. E0 {6 t
abilities;

Networking and Fundraising;
