% _ X, H# u% e, y• Providing leadership, general supervision, management and control of the operations of
0 _6 |' I! k$ m! v, Wthe YWCA on a day-to-day basis in accordance with the plans and policies approved by

+ D) |' m: ]6 R+ Q& u+ P h+ }" O• Reporting to the board on a timely basis all relevant information regarding operations 6 n0 g% _: k& O3 t8 ]/ k7 D" T0 x
including financial, policy and personnel issues and provides information necessary to , A6 ]' {2 V2 ?
enable the Board to exercise their responsibilities; ' V- q4 F0 o" `5 C$ i5 w' Q
• Contributing to the development and achievement of the 1 -3 year operational plan and / H& ^! _0 Z1 |
objectives ensuring that the plan is consistent with the strategic directions established by - m; i# T, D, @9 T; r, @

• Developing and executing the annual operational and capital budget;

the development, implementation and successful execution of YWCA service offerings; , x3 W$ P, }, J' l
• Reviewing existing policies and programs to recommend new or revise to meet the
: O* \2 _; y2 U# `1 v7 t/ d& X, vchanging needs of the organization and community; ( q9 \1 S/ B, z" L8 S" R$ ~$ ^
• Identifying, qualifying and initiating opportunities to meet the current and growth revenue , {* m" o3 J& s1 G8 A% C
commitments;
4 a* b+ Y9 ]6 m' U• Overseeing contract negotiation with various stakeholders; " R3 H; x6 k: `% ], w* J
• Fostering an environment of fair treatment of employees and volunteers through effective 9 E* m- ^, U. b& U+ H6 K3 C
selection, development, motivation, retention and appraisal systems; 1 T# C/ {# @. q& G ? i
• Encouraging the development of high-performance team members motivated to succeed; # p4 H! }0 s- k. `
• Enhancing the public imagine and working relationship within our community to

• Identifying the YWCA’s principle risks, reviewing those risks with the Board, and ensuring : _$ O# w$ ~6 f( d* R) D
the implementation of systems to manage these risks;
j. u) {% p/ S' v, ?• Establishing, in conjunction with the Board Chair and Board, an annual list of personal

• Conducting affairs of the YWCA in accordance with the commonly accepted ethical

• Minimum of 10 years experience managing multi-service non-profit organizations; + Q: N# s0 L; u+ A& Y& S
• Strong knowledge of government contracts and demonstrated negotiation 9 D+ B, l' b: ^: o6 ?: f& c% s
abilities; ! Y {3 N! k4 Y' w
• Exceptional interpersonal skills including knowledge of Public Relations, x# w& y4 U6 E+ z/ n- b
Networking and Fundraising;
: o" r6 m( G+ R9 G• Strong business acumen and familiarity with risk management, budgeting, forecasting 1 ^* h3 {4 v7 O5 \! H, ~
and financial statements; and X& n V& v+ u5 K3 O# O1 b
• Experience advocating, empowering and championing women and girls from a women
