Specific responsibilities include:

* B: j) r4 l. |. Z- E• Providing leadership, general supervision, management and control of the operations of
4 r7 P0 `1 N# x/ Mthe YWCA on a day-to-day basis in accordance with the plans and policies approved by 3 T8 I3 h7 q4 Z2 z; f1 g
the Board of Directors;

including financial, policy and personnel issues and provides information necessary to 5 e: `' O* J1 V4 m
enable the Board to exercise their responsibilities; * S. z6 D o% {4 i }5 ^
• Contributing to the development and achievement of the 1 -3 year operational plan and 7 c! @: q' D! i1 a3 E* S
objectives ensuring that the plan is consistent with the strategic directions established by

• Nurturing relationships with key stakeholders and community organizations to champion . j8 `" {4 c- J
the development, implementation and successful execution of YWCA service offerings; $ f- h/ \* @3 \! w
• Reviewing existing policies and programs to recommend new or revise to meet the

• Identifying, qualifying and initiating opportunities to meet the current and growth revenue

• Fostering an environment of fair treatment of employees and volunteers through effective , ?' K$ S+ i8 r9 \( f6 ~- b" ?
selection, development, motivation, retention and appraisal systems;

• Enhancing the public imagine and working relationship within our community to

• Identifying the YWCA’s principle risks, reviewing those risks with the Board, and ensuring
" ~8 o% g$ P z7 C* zthe implementation of systems to manage these risks; ) e0 _( N1 w. Q% i" A9 [' N8 X/ s
• Establishing, in conjunction with the Board Chair and Board, an annual list of personal
3 b3 u5 U; y; h7 B1 g( z+ Xperformance objectives (within the context of the strategic plan) to be achieved by the ED
3 A3 }( B0 m. E! S" Y' {, |the forthcoming year;
4 v5 \3 a# R; @• Conducting affairs of the YWCA in accordance with the commonly accepted ethical
! }1 ~, s; }3 v/ y7 M* W) [8 Jpractices, consistent with the YWCA Vision, Mission and Values and the policies of

Required Experience
