• Providing leadership, general supervision, management and control of the operations of
* q6 v6 N4 v, S U3 x3 c1 lthe YWCA on a day-to-day basis in accordance with the plans and policies approved by 7 _, M% E7 l+ B- M: ~$ j
the Board of Directors;

enable the Board to exercise their responsibilities;

3 z% |0 b' E3 ]8 |• Nurturing relationships with key stakeholders and community organizations to champion
* m2 `0 I6 G+ }' gthe development, implementation and successful execution of YWCA service offerings;
8 @4 q8 r3 \$ t% R" L" O• Reviewing existing policies and programs to recommend new or revise to meet the 9 M9 i; q$ g6 v W
changing needs of the organization and community; 8 B. Q3 {7 f8 u& H
• Identifying, qualifying and initiating opportunities to meet the current and growth revenue

• Overseeing contract negotiation with various stakeholders; $ g! g7 C U+ ?) S6 C- s. O
• Fostering an environment of fair treatment of employees and volunteers through effective
: u( x+ y& F( Jselection, development, motivation, retention and appraisal systems;
( Q G- t& Q" x7 p |4 p- V• Encouraging the development of high-performance team members motivated to succeed; 7 {" @) \& k7 U0 V
• Enhancing the public imagine and working relationship within our community to
7 R/ o. n, C, ~$ d7 f% Ieffectively and positively represent the association;

• Identifying the YWCA’s principle risks, reviewing those risks with the Board, and ensuring
0 M' J3 `' z. B! S5 j0 i ?the implementation of systems to manage these risks;
. f$ E/ h" r4 U2 u1 b• Establishing, in conjunction with the Board Chair and Board, an annual list of personal
3 E: J+ Y1 t6 Q. p1 f' H4 N6 X, `+ nperformance objectives (within the context of the strategic plan) to be achieved by the ED
0 U: g; l& C4 l% {3 ^the forthcoming year;
/ h" b$ E* f; z2 b• Conducting affairs of the YWCA in accordance with the commonly accepted ethical 4 ]7 A2 G& \- @$ Z6 `& c: _
practices, consistent with the YWCA Vision, Mission and Values and the policies of

Required Experience

• Strong knowledge of government contracts and demonstrated negotiation , Z h) O. t% Z1 L6 L1 h
abilities;
