Reporting to the Board of Directors, the ED is responsible for development, evolution and 1 b a' v4 X9 Y9 G& `

• Reporting to the board on a timely basis all relevant information regarding operations

5 C6 q3 K9 V9 uobjectives ensuring that the plan is consistent with the strategic directions established by

• Developing and executing the annual operational and capital budget; - L( G% Q( p% S. l% t
• Nurturing relationships with key stakeholders and community organizations to champion
9 _3 k+ W! K* X8 T% v" ^* ~5 i( Hthe development, implementation and successful execution of YWCA service offerings;
$ _" m( G& ^/ g. ]- E• Reviewing existing policies and programs to recommend new or revise to meet the
( v! G$ t; V1 x, I; ]/ a; ichanging needs of the organization and community;
) W4 o0 J' E$ f8 [0 R• Identifying, qualifying and initiating opportunities to meet the current and growth revenue : s4 `4 C! \; E& i

• Overseeing contract negotiation with various stakeholders;
- e {9 U: q5 H• Fostering an environment of fair treatment of employees and volunteers through effective
! v# D9 J. V( c/ g- Hselection, development, motivation, retention and appraisal systems; ' y3 ~# s9 P3 N, K: @8 l
• Encouraging the development of high-performance team members motivated to succeed; 7 K( m, |$ h% T4 F& H& { S
• Enhancing the public imagine and working relationship within our community to + O- H9 J4 u5 H) ]6 {

* C, {# ^" q* Z8 r: m4 L* n• Identifying the YWCA’s principle risks, reviewing those risks with the Board, and ensuring ( u; t, ^6 f8 Y4 I! S; p& d$ H

• Establishing, in conjunction with the Board Chair and Board, an annual list of personal 7 _: y7 h+ [4 S7 ^/ R5 F9 ^! A
performance objectives (within the context of the strategic plan) to be achieved by the ED 2 A4 \8 k: X! X( E; m$ |
the forthcoming year; 2 T4 r* |$ e7 ?) a! f* p( F
• Conducting affairs of the YWCA in accordance with the commonly accepted ethical

• Post secondary degree or equivalent experience. 5 U& C6 O, Q$ n. F1 w" w

Required Experience E* a( a! S/ z0 U# ~& d- F1 B% N
• Minimum of 10 years experience managing multi-service non-profit organizations;
. i; e s1 g2 }2 n• Strong knowledge of government contracts and demonstrated negotiation : g+ g1 |' c5 j
abilities;
* @* j& l+ `+ k4 U# ?- t6 {! n+ g3 b- G• Exceptional interpersonal skills including knowledge of Public Relations, : T5 S3 g( m' |
Networking and Fundraising;
