• Providing leadership, general supervision, management and control of the operations of
, M' T1 [7 d/ N& kthe YWCA on a day-to-day basis in accordance with the plans and policies approved by
& l; p1 b( \$ D' ~8 ythe Board of Directors;
. L2 v1 C, S$ q" C; K% `4 G• Reporting to the board on a timely basis all relevant information regarding operations 3 ]) w/ [" w5 I& g
including financial, policy and personnel issues and provides information necessary to * O. b: x2 u" @% A) Z6 l8 M
enable the Board to exercise their responsibilities;
4 o. w4 p8 a8 }) U• Contributing to the development and achievement of the 1 -3 year operational plan and

• Developing and executing the annual operational and capital budget; $ P J. G O2 f' Y$ |
• Nurturing relationships with key stakeholders and community organizations to champion
, f( X0 L% Z7 @3 tthe development, implementation and successful execution of YWCA service offerings; ) E. k0 x2 {& q) l
• Reviewing existing policies and programs to recommend new or revise to meet the ! U* l; V% M) E# {: d+ o0 g
changing needs of the organization and community;
# J X! {# J0 V8 k1 M• Identifying, qualifying and initiating opportunities to meet the current and growth revenue # y+ j; X* ~1 b9 o- V( B* T& L
commitments; ]4 O8 i: ~7 }! l# O: c
• Overseeing contract negotiation with various stakeholders;
) ?( P6 M2 T5 j9 n/ D0 _' ~- G• Fostering an environment of fair treatment of employees and volunteers through effective ; p1 v: |! q9 C4 G
selection, development, motivation, retention and appraisal systems; 0 f* k F8 q# L- ^
• Encouraging the development of high-performance team members motivated to succeed; ; [, f/ p' z r% _. I
• Enhancing the public imagine and working relationship within our community to
' d" n0 t$ ^5 Z, j9 {effectively and positively represent the association; ( X4 t) c2 ?8 a V

• Identifying the YWCA’s principle risks, reviewing those risks with the Board, and ensuring
. C7 o! F" _2 _. p. R% i; L+ U1 M* Uthe implementation of systems to manage these risks; 9 ]9 {& M6 y0 g1 ^. J5 K
• Establishing, in conjunction with the Board Chair and Board, an annual list of personal
A( q8 \7 B7 t. P( H, P3 l( o/ Bperformance objectives (within the context of the strategic plan) to be achieved by the ED " q1 }9 h+ ]7 ~. ?
the forthcoming year; + c. U$ n+ s% k1 d+ W" O: ]
• Conducting affairs of the YWCA in accordance with the commonly accepted ethical
. j1 E; _; t) T' ?7 j9 ~practices, consistent with the YWCA Vision, Mission and Values and the policies of

• Minimum of 10 years experience managing multi-service non-profit organizations; . S, p! u2 r l# S; L, ]! |. V
• Strong knowledge of government contracts and demonstrated negotiation

• Experience advocating, empowering and championing women and girls from a women
