6 v2 I# A2 D" j+ C• Providing leadership, general supervision, management and control of the operations of
" D( f5 }: \* c) u* R c/ J; othe YWCA on a day-to-day basis in accordance with the plans and policies approved by . u3 f" A7 M! E; t; m
the Board of Directors;
. T2 h/ u# a* ?$ l( j• Reporting to the board on a timely basis all relevant information regarding operations
+ f4 k. W" b- J2 A0 B h, Zincluding financial, policy and personnel issues and provides information necessary to $ r9 u0 l2 M W7 ?0 [5 _, t
enable the Board to exercise their responsibilities; + I' H+ G! `5 S
• Contributing to the development and achievement of the 1 -3 year operational plan and
- L4 r8 G: a9 Bobjectives ensuring that the plan is consistent with the strategic directions established by

• Developing and executing the annual operational and capital budget;
- ~$ h7 g$ W* U3 w$ D9 n• Nurturing relationships with key stakeholders and community organizations to champion + O6 A( w7 g2 o! M5 Y# V
the development, implementation and successful execution of YWCA service offerings;
" e2 |3 j- a0 f9 X• Reviewing existing policies and programs to recommend new or revise to meet the
: F9 u8 x# u/ \8 A; pchanging needs of the organization and community;
/ R3 u _7 S( {: V2 T. M1 C• Identifying, qualifying and initiating opportunities to meet the current and growth revenue 7 I- h( D& I- N2 X( T
commitments;
x3 @6 t& \/ Z1 K4 T* ]• Overseeing contract negotiation with various stakeholders;
6 Z9 Y* `5 @5 k9 [( M• Fostering an environment of fair treatment of employees and volunteers through effective
5 G# V5 ^. O9 o/ ~selection, development, motivation, retention and appraisal systems;
$ x; E) s2 J+ m• Encouraging the development of high-performance team members motivated to succeed;

• Establishing, in conjunction with the Board Chair and Board, an annual list of personal
) X' [ x2 v2 D/ k' hperformance objectives (within the context of the strategic plan) to be achieved by the ED
: s& a0 c X7 ]& s6 C* Q. g( Jthe forthcoming year; ) r- Y2 \# k* ~- R, _; ^6 D+ C
• Conducting affairs of the YWCA in accordance with the commonly accepted ethical
, D- Q3 @; z1 _: L5 gpractices, consistent with the YWCA Vision, Mission and Values and the policies of

• Acting as an Ex-Officio member of the Board, all Board Committees and Board Task

• Minimum of 10 years experience managing multi-service non-profit organizations; 6 h. b$ O9 Z1 T( w& r
• Strong knowledge of government contracts and demonstrated negotiation
