execution of the YWCA Strategy 4 ^% D- A5 ^1 H

• Providing leadership, general supervision, management and control of the operations of
# n$ U% ]& w" a8 [& y0 pthe YWCA on a day-to-day basis in accordance with the plans and policies approved by
/ G, R5 ?1 j. F) g( [* J& C2 Jthe Board of Directors; 6 {1 g2 o; j4 p2 T' U5 M* ]
• Reporting to the board on a timely basis all relevant information regarding operations 3 ~' l8 r" C7 x
including financial, policy and personnel issues and provides information necessary to 9 ~0 g# t; f& K& R
enable the Board to exercise their responsibilities; , l d2 r+ I6 O9 `3 p0 k9 W6 j5 b- C
• Contributing to the development and achievement of the 1 -3 year operational plan and
4 i' l0 b3 t! @! ?7 P( A- U0 mobjectives ensuring that the plan is consistent with the strategic directions established by

, C5 Z4 I! |& b6 n8 V; I8 }/ Y• Developing and executing the annual operational and capital budget;
$ y, ^+ H- ~' y. y9 a2 Q• Nurturing relationships with key stakeholders and community organizations to champion 9 }: ~& \/ z1 N0 S7 E+ p8 y
the development, implementation and successful execution of YWCA service offerings;
& y' n; t3 c# \, W0 @$ f• Reviewing existing policies and programs to recommend new or revise to meet the " `, G5 b1 E; A; s5 K
changing needs of the organization and community; ' _/ I- a( S2 Z) S/ s$ U* S
• Identifying, qualifying and initiating opportunities to meet the current and growth revenue Z6 O9 p, i7 m" a- B

• Overseeing contract negotiation with various stakeholders; : |& O$ }0 M$ }- p1 I+ @, [4 R/ J
• Fostering an environment of fair treatment of employees and volunteers through effective ' I4 Z# K$ A# x+ w! e v
selection, development, motivation, retention and appraisal systems;

• Enhancing the public imagine and working relationship within our community to

• Identifying the YWCA’s principle risks, reviewing those risks with the Board, and ensuring ' q% m" X9 I' @# Z6 Q
the implementation of systems to manage these risks;
; ]2 E0 v1 H) p" L o! `• Establishing, in conjunction with the Board Chair and Board, an annual list of personal ) j% ^' N. Y) G6 s4 X
performance objectives (within the context of the strategic plan) to be achieved by the ED

& D5 U, \% H4 j* H1 v; \• Conducting affairs of the YWCA in accordance with the commonly accepted ethical # L5 h: N# r9 F4 t
practices, consistent with the YWCA Vision, Mission and Values and the policies of 8 m0 A/ y; g( B+ s, b

• Acting as an Ex-Officio member of the Board, all Board Committees and Board Task

' k, D5 C5 ~: d! D• Minimum of 10 years experience managing multi-service non-profit organizations;
