execution of the YWCA Strategy

# _* b' k7 [; I, c5 X+ h, Vthe YWCA on a day-to-day basis in accordance with the plans and policies approved by

• Reporting to the board on a timely basis all relevant information regarding operations 7 Y' g# C' D( Z* Y
including financial, policy and personnel issues and provides information necessary to

• Contributing to the development and achievement of the 1 -3 year operational plan and $ e8 ?1 ^: y$ q. u
objectives ensuring that the plan is consistent with the strategic directions established by " w3 |5 ^" P& j( D

• Developing and executing the annual operational and capital budget; / a$ c( e/ V# P4 b3 [; S
• Nurturing relationships with key stakeholders and community organizations to champion
+ D2 \8 h5 L5 M5 @: r: rthe development, implementation and successful execution of YWCA service offerings;
" B6 u; n3 B0 M9 v# f/ S• Reviewing existing policies and programs to recommend new or revise to meet the % T) U7 Q: W' b' E# L/ t

• Identifying, qualifying and initiating opportunities to meet the current and growth revenue

* ], O8 ~' r2 t• Overseeing contract negotiation with various stakeholders;
2 r' O, g. }; O2 i1 w) r6 i• Fostering an environment of fair treatment of employees and volunteers through effective
$ ~4 c5 W: k L, m7 l% {( iselection, development, motivation, retention and appraisal systems; $ y6 f$ W+ [2 ]' T. a9 t9 c
• Encouraging the development of high-performance team members motivated to succeed; 0 f! ]4 x7 l6 P) H) {% i1 }1 H' X" J
• Enhancing the public imagine and working relationship within our community to % f3 T( u/ }& F

' U$ P T: N3 [• Identifying the YWCA’s principle risks, reviewing those risks with the Board, and ensuring

• Establishing, in conjunction with the Board Chair and Board, an annual list of personal
$ w$ Y& ~6 g" ]7 V) M2 k1 nperformance objectives (within the context of the strategic plan) to be achieved by the ED

• Conducting affairs of the YWCA in accordance with the commonly accepted ethical
/ K" x {; L4 J- z- D; |practices, consistent with the YWCA Vision, Mission and Values and the policies of " \+ r. J$ ^/ C* ]

• Minimum of 10 years experience managing multi-service non-profit organizations; ( o- B2 H6 ?/ i8 o
• Strong knowledge of government contracts and demonstrated negotiation 2 J1 {2 P/ a$ s6 J1 R
abilities; 1 r* D" d# O( {5 M& m5 D0 G2 O
• Exceptional interpersonal skills including knowledge of Public Relations,
& t' D7 q+ H1 s! w* u3 [) dNetworking and Fundraising; : v3 s8 Z# j, Q6 F9 v& h1 J0 z
• Strong business acumen and familiarity with risk management, budgeting, forecasting
