execution of the YWCA Strategy

the YWCA on a day-to-day basis in accordance with the plans and policies approved by " Q& x6 J5 _5 R) ?

• Reporting to the board on a timely basis all relevant information regarding operations " g. ^7 E# `/ O' Q, o4 f
including financial, policy and personnel issues and provides information necessary to

• Contributing to the development and achievement of the 1 -3 year operational plan and
% |7 J8 s, Q+ r; {objectives ensuring that the plan is consistent with the strategic directions established by n7 ^' n, }3 b0 q: Z! S1 c8 X$ B

• Developing and executing the annual operational and capital budget; . f1 Y; g3 U# u; Y" ] }! Z
• Nurturing relationships with key stakeholders and community organizations to champion

& G+ S/ k" t/ e5 E! M, D I# W• Reviewing existing policies and programs to recommend new or revise to meet the

• Fostering an environment of fair treatment of employees and volunteers through effective 9 j- e7 k, u! k$ G' c
selection, development, motivation, retention and appraisal systems; & Y$ N$ j5 I) y. X9 |7 O
• Encouraging the development of high-performance team members motivated to succeed; . n0 h' k. n {9 Q$ l
• Enhancing the public imagine and working relationship within our community to

• Identifying the YWCA’s principle risks, reviewing those risks with the Board, and ensuring 0 k& z: K# X* w3 r) S2 P
the implementation of systems to manage these risks; 8 q1 n& n3 D+ c. x$ H* i
• Establishing, in conjunction with the Board Chair and Board, an annual list of personal
0 ~ K& W+ A& y- o! O: Uperformance objectives (within the context of the strategic plan) to be achieved by the ED
! q0 D* w+ ~1 n8 Hthe forthcoming year;
/ n( G* ]" Z) s- n• Conducting affairs of the YWCA in accordance with the commonly accepted ethical
$ ~7 N# Z% I2 d( S( ]: c0 m; c$ Ipractices, consistent with the YWCA Vision, Mission and Values and the policies of , T/ [: X2 I. e" q

• Minimum of 10 years experience managing multi-service non-profit organizations; 7 e( W* Z1 c4 S1 S* U. P6 r5 o
• Strong knowledge of government contracts and demonstrated negotiation
