execution of the YWCA Strategy

* Y) D# ?- h0 A• Providing leadership, general supervision, management and control of the operations of ! S6 F% n6 ~% f7 O( E
the YWCA on a day-to-day basis in accordance with the plans and policies approved by

• Reporting to the board on a timely basis all relevant information regarding operations ' S8 Y: Y5 k6 @' _7 |% o& C( s( P+ Q
including financial, policy and personnel issues and provides information necessary to
. V' K+ R6 ?! V6 h }4 lenable the Board to exercise their responsibilities;

• Reviewing existing policies and programs to recommend new or revise to meet the k2 \8 w3 d Z _! O6 P
changing needs of the organization and community;

selection, development, motivation, retention and appraisal systems;

• Establishing, in conjunction with the Board Chair and Board, an annual list of personal
2 F3 b( E. g/ \performance objectives (within the context of the strategic plan) to be achieved by the ED

# A8 o- x: k t3 h4 `1 p• Conducting affairs of the YWCA in accordance with the commonly accepted ethical

YWCA Canada; and

Required Professional Designation / Certification
: h/ l& a. x2 \- p# G4 @• Post secondary degree or equivalent experience.

Required Experience
4 U" q4 Y3 q1 z! U• Minimum of 10 years experience managing multi-service non-profit organizations; ' P5 A N+ u# X1 S* A/ N( L- p
• Strong knowledge of government contracts and demonstrated negotiation
0 G$ o# W z+ O4 k J% Pabilities;
* w5 s+ e# s" Z• Exceptional interpersonal skills including knowledge of Public Relations, % w+ i# q; I- I
Networking and Fundraising; - P7 M4 i2 Q& w! d$ i: G
• Strong business acumen and familiarity with risk management, budgeting, forecasting

• Experience advocating, empowering and championing women and girls from a women
