execution of the YWCA Strategy ) P2 Q4 [7 N& Q4 B+ [' D) u

• Providing leadership, general supervision, management and control of the operations of 8 b) O$ |% Q3 V0 N/ e
the YWCA on a day-to-day basis in accordance with the plans and policies approved by
- J! T' ]/ \* f9 _2 s. N) Y/ z( cthe Board of Directors;
( x% }3 O0 R3 P" U( u* \. g2 P% z• Reporting to the board on a timely basis all relevant information regarding operations
- V8 V( @8 m# G* I% W! y$ ?including financial, policy and personnel issues and provides information necessary to

• Contributing to the development and achievement of the 1 -3 year operational plan and ! s7 M2 r7 Y. \ `3 q! m
objectives ensuring that the plan is consistent with the strategic directions established by

• Developing and executing the annual operational and capital budget; ) v% a+ y: g7 H
• Nurturing relationships with key stakeholders and community organizations to champion
j, k( B ^ O7 Mthe development, implementation and successful execution of YWCA service offerings;
6 p- D" h; e8 W9 x" D0 }* C• Reviewing existing policies and programs to recommend new or revise to meet the ^) k) s6 M6 I. t) I

• Identifying, qualifying and initiating opportunities to meet the current and growth revenue / [5 \2 G( s% u9 R* @; n3 @
commitments;

• Identifying the YWCA’s principle risks, reviewing those risks with the Board, and ensuring ) s5 Q! e% G0 a9 H! d( f
the implementation of systems to manage these risks;
0 H; H, R6 X: m! i- h• Establishing, in conjunction with the Board Chair and Board, an annual list of personal
, ]( S+ L# d; H& G; T- {performance objectives (within the context of the strategic plan) to be achieved by the ED % e- j7 F6 }1 I" ?' C# O0 a l$ }
the forthcoming year; 6 J3 f- Q! J2 f" y
• Conducting affairs of the YWCA in accordance with the commonly accepted ethical
& D5 N* r; ]6 ]9 mpractices, consistent with the YWCA Vision, Mission and Values and the policies of ) F; X; S: s4 a, W. @

• Acting as an Ex-Officio member of the Board, all Board Committees and Board Task

• Minimum of 10 years experience managing multi-service non-profit organizations;

• Exceptional interpersonal skills including knowledge of Public Relations, / X. N1 I. {( B! o% G& j
