The successful Executive Director (ED) will combine a woman centered perspective, strategic

: N/ Y5 |5 g" Z3 s/ o) t# B# Q• Providing leadership, general supervision, management and control of the operations of
, H' z" }8 M, u+ p, ?the YWCA on a day-to-day basis in accordance with the plans and policies approved by

• Reporting to the board on a timely basis all relevant information regarding operations u* w9 T7 W6 v" S
including financial, policy and personnel issues and provides information necessary to - n1 L3 b' K% `# P5 {
enable the Board to exercise their responsibilities;

objectives ensuring that the plan is consistent with the strategic directions established by

! W! [% E7 E3 }: X• Developing and executing the annual operational and capital budget; 5 W5 G! o/ k4 ?4 E' G9 t+ U
• Nurturing relationships with key stakeholders and community organizations to champion
9 z/ M2 `' m$ J5 c' o2 ithe development, implementation and successful execution of YWCA service offerings; " R* M4 C+ \" M" `0 S; l0 F
• Reviewing existing policies and programs to recommend new or revise to meet the % a: C3 P7 C+ Z% L: c/ T& Y. Q. L
changing needs of the organization and community; 3 H1 d/ q4 e6 z1 T2 d: Z: r" F
• Identifying, qualifying and initiating opportunities to meet the current and growth revenue

1 O% y3 Y2 L$ U& F• Overseeing contract negotiation with various stakeholders; + |6 U' h# u+ i* m$ M6 [. B7 g
• Fostering an environment of fair treatment of employees and volunteers through effective 3 U E! n9 @3 ~. X: j" J
selection, development, motivation, retention and appraisal systems;
* F" K6 z7 b& `8 X0 W( x7 U5 t D• Encouraging the development of high-performance team members motivated to succeed; 9 [5 c# L4 K9 z2 a: i) U* F
• Enhancing the public imagine and working relationship within our community to 2 j: m/ C M$ K
effectively and positively represent the association; & A/ A2 k" _9 u; p' l# S
9 c5 C) m9 R( |% |2 n7 g/ j• Identifying the YWCA’s principle risks, reviewing those risks with the Board, and ensuring

• Establishing, in conjunction with the Board Chair and Board, an annual list of personal
( x, O+ B* l) Pperformance objectives (within the context of the strategic plan) to be achieved by the ED : }- y, |) t# p$ G8 e
the forthcoming year;

• Minimum of 10 years experience managing multi-service non-profit organizations; 2 U/ P9 j. _- f4 g
• Strong knowledge of government contracts and demonstrated negotiation 3 z! c- m& q; U; c5 |# Z/ g5 F
abilities;

Networking and Fundraising;
