Seeing Life in a Different Light/换个角度看生活

An elderly couple had two daughters.                 - I7 _7 E& `8 I 
一对老两口有两个女儿,' B/ }: p7 a* N' f) c. H( o! P/ t 
The older daughter was married to a man who sold umbrellas, while the younger one was married to a man who sold straw hats.                 % C- S1 Z+ n3 q1 P% L 
大女儿嫁给了一个卖雨伞的,二女儿嫁给了一个卖草帽的。3 o2 ~  ?1 l3 f( M- x; s3 J 
Therefore, whenever it was a fine day,                 * U: }; m# \, m; W" N3 }# P 
所以,每当遇到晴天的时候, 
1 L0 ^* u8 _: G6 D5 }' }; q5 V; y$ lthe mother would sigh: “Oh, it’s a bad day for my elder son-in-law.” 
% b# n5 j3 r, J/ [做母亲的就会叹气:“哎!大女婿的雨伞卖不出去了。” 
$ |* W6 l9 W9 R. R5 I! tBut if it was a rainy day, she would sigh as well: “Nobody’s going to buy my younger son-in-law’s straw hats.”& a  `6 h# T( ~5 b# g8 v7 t: ` 
遇到雨天,她还是会叹气:“二女婿的草帽没人买了!” , 
2 t" g) T  A4 e5 z4 f$ L4 k  }So she was never happy, rain or shine.8 [+ _7 ?7 z! h 
所以,晴天雨天老太太都不高兴。 
2 R$ z. d0 _* F' Q) _But her husband saw the matter in a different light.He was happy, rain or shine.          
( q. q2 w8 p8 r- P2 Z7 u可是老先生却恰恰相反,不论晴天雨天,老先生都很高兴。! |% }% p/ }) x: x% K6 z" P 
On sunny days, he would think that his younger son-in-law would sell lots of straw hats, 
& h; x1 k- e6 @5 j晴天时他想到二女婿的草帽会卖得好,: \. F. S  G4 b* V/ L 
and on rainy days he would think of his elder son-in-law doing well selling his umbrellas.$ W$ s. @- e, E 
雨天时他想到大女婿的雨伞会卖得好,2 @8 J! Y5 c, \+ `. y! B 
In reality, happiness is a kind of attitude.8 B1 l' E' ~6 a9 {! b- }3 \8 a 
其实,幸福就是一种心情,
