9 p3 p0 j8 ]: Y8 D- w: ~, eThe IT Small Systems Specialist will be responsible for providing day to day technical support for SYSCO Edmonton. Responsibilities will include equipment management and support, basic network support and troubleshooting.

§ Provide high level of customer service to internal customers- X* e% w N# q
§ Provide small systems technical support; troubleshoot problems and either resolve them independently or coordinate third party involvement in resolution 5 E& X* }# e$ r% w! y; E
§ Hardware and software installation, configuration and implementation
# n, e. g m3 ^* }8 k" W, E§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times

6 }9 w2 C/ k& n/ I3 G§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert+ V* i |9 {2 \- E

§ May be required to provide after hours pager support for emergency trouble calls

The IT Manager will provide hands on management of all aspects of the local IT operations for SYSCO Edmonton - managing the information systems on a cost effective basis while ensuring user demands are met. This person will work closely with the SYSCO Canada Corporate IT group (located in Calgary and Toronto).

§ Manage and coach staff in IT group

§ Reporting to the Director of Finance and management on a monthly basis on status of IT projects and initiatives
+ Z& z8 _6 N6 l3 [§ Work with auditors (internal and external) – respond to requests, prepare response to audit reports
7 t' x$ v. Y( K7 [$ P# m/ y6 X§ Hardware and software configuration and implementation
1 x N0 Q' s' y8 f* ~: O; _§ Manage and track all technology assets including ensuring that all software licenses are documented and adhered to
% s0 v8 W5 Q( Q! P6 y. z§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times
