Position Summary:
' R, a/ v: C+ v+ t- j" Q$ E5 JThe IT Small Systems Specialist will be responsible for providing day to day technical support for SYSCO Edmonton. Responsibilities will include equipment management and support, basic network support and troubleshooting.: G0 d7 {" Q" o( L7 f5 q2 u

Responsibilities:
! d- y$ o2 ]0 t9 b# H§ Provide high level of customer service to internal customers. J3 V* F8 C% e. L/ o
§ Provide small systems technical support; troubleshoot problems and either resolve them independently or coordinate third party involvement in resolution 9 \% B0 {2 h. h& F: M1 L
§ Hardware and software installation, configuration and implementation
0 z4 `" a# Q. g: R1 b6 V1 L6 A§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times8 e; g1 j6 G2 q
§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk9 \6 n$ C6 ^& L* \
§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert/ o  z8 v/ e- w7 p5 v
§ Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external parties
# Q' _  N) W  M0 u% I+ {' i§ Special projects as required
- F& P# B8 q2 U7 R" w§ May be required to provide after hours pager support for emergency trouble calls

§ University or College degree in Computer Science and at least 2 years of related work experience  t- R% Q7 S) l  b% h4 I' ?
§ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with others and work under minimal supervision

§ Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills and the ability to work on multiple issues

' C' n- d, o% ?§ Experience installing, supporting and troubleshooting client desktop software) T+ T# L8 J* b% L% i/ L

Position Summary:
5 v. `; W1 i" G0 r4 ?; RThe IT Manager will provide hands on management of all aspects of the local IT operations for SYSCO Edmonton - managing the information systems on a cost effective basis while ensuring user demands are met. This person will work closely with the SYSCO Canada Corporate IT group (located in Calgary and Toronto). * \" `1 X+ e3 A' k7 B5 U; F

§ Manage a stable local IT environment - D- z1 h8 ~0 f4 z& r
§ Manage and coach staff in IT group/ ]1 B# G! v- S2 t6 i0 q$ s
§ Oversee and provide small systems technical support9 b! B* e" P4 W4 V) E$ P. Y& n& ?
§ Reporting to the Director of Finance and management on a monthly basis on status of IT projects and initiatives
& x3 r; ^7 y: G3 o§ Work with auditors (internal and external) – respond to requests, prepare response to audit reports
5 G  k% G, w9 _( |) s# b: E§ Hardware and software configuration and implementation
. |' D' g4 F( P& j* Q# n§ Manage and track all technology assets including ensuring that all software licenses are documented and adhered to
. F7 R8 H! q/ B9 m§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times
. |0 i' [) e4 X/ x4 \§ Perform network administration at the domain level; managing user accounts and network access( @$ H5 |5 p% L7 k7 P! s. [
§ Develop and maintain backup and restoration procedures
$ k* {6 G* o% }, I* ?# U) o§ Develop and track IT budget as well as IT capital spending plan- V7 i" h- d) M: K( t) t
§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk
" K9 f% k2 N6 S§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert. b/ d# Q+ [. R
§ Provide technical and procedural recommendations to management9 e  a0 F( i0 q0 j# r
§ Manage user ID request and approval process in conjunction with Director of Finance

§ Collaboration on development of internal intranet and external website maintenance! {% j6 g9 L' G

; V6 e! ^. h9 Z5 a' c在国内应征的话还敢。在这里既没加拿大经验,英语也不好,想都不去想这些位置啊。
