Turn around mean shutdown.
/ @, b. N9 k) X, I9 V/ aIt could be the whole plant or part of the plant shutdown, depend on the schedule.

I think you are talking about Suncor main plant, here in Suncor Firebag we have 2 weeks of turnaround in September.

You'd better check it out before you take this job.

0 F' Y5 C2 `- u. `. }  O+ z/ MI printed the words above at a paper. I presented it at today’s morning safety meeting and asked the meaning of “TRUNAROUND”.. There were nobody really knew the meaning of “TURNAROUND”.
2 y- ^5 R  U8 `. e* h. hOne local 424 member said” TURNAROUND means ten days on 4 days off.”
Another said:” maybe means shutdown.”
; x4 `5 Y) p1 \* y9 e( I2 r( YMy foreman said: “ I am not sure. Maybe it is a couple of days. It is better to call the dispatch office to know.”
