我该买POTTING SOIL还是COMPOST

把后院草坪把了一大块准备种点菜，草坪下的土可能不够好，请教各位，我该买些POTTING SOIL还是COMPOST 掺上用？

让爱住我家

室外的话，compost 比较好

Both top soil and manure (organic fertilizer-waste matter produced by cattle/sheep) are available in bags at Homedepot, Rona, Superstore and so and so and so........

potting soil 是按照一定比例（砂土，粘土，有机物）配好的土，直接装到花盆里面就可以用了。
2 L* \* t: |) E' _+ H  \  J& b& Ftop soil 指的是地表土，是各层土壤中富含有机物，适合植物生长的一层。
我说不出来这两种土成分有什么不同。

% x8 o! I  k$ ?1 rcompost是有机物，是用作土壤调节剂的，改善土壤结构，增加有机物成分。
manure 也是有机物，增加肥力的。

As what I know,  commercial potting soil is very often sawdust+peat moss and more preferable for indoor pot growing since it has a more sterile composition in comparison to topsoil.
