# c& K" B, U; o" I: sOur first opportunity is the position of the Marketing and Development Coordinator. Key responsibilities include leading fund raising initiatives for revenue generation and the marketing of campaigns. In this role you will work with volunteers to plan and carry out campaign strategies to meet resource development goals and objectives. (Note: This is a 14 month full time contract position with a good possibility of permanent extension.)" X/ o4 I0 a, s0 {3 u

In our second opportunity candidates may apply for the role of the Wish Coordinator. Key responsibilities include leading the wish granting process from start to completion while working cooperatively with all relevant parties. You will train our volunteer wish grantors on the process of carrying out wishes, recommend and assist in developing policies and procedures with regards to wish granting, and prepare and maintain all required documentation on each wish. (Note: This is a fulltime permanent position.) , U+ F: i! ~1 O0 w& p9 U+ S

8 c9 G& c8 g) A' p/ ]In both roles you will be reporting to the Executive Director, of Make A Wish Northern Alberta and be working in close co-operation with our dedicated team. These roles also require you to be actively involved in building and maintaining community support/relationships that enable Make A Wish to fulfill our important mission throughout Northern Alberta. In addition as a key member of the Make A Wish team you will participate in team meetings and events as required. . K5 J9 s6 z) ^6 a

As the ideal candidate for either position, you will have a minimum of two to three years of responsible administrative experience in a role requiring organizational and coordination skills. You will have demonstrated excellent interpersonal, communications/multi tasking skills and will have worked effectively in a team setting. Your past work history will also demonstrate your creative side and an ability to meet unique client needs. Experience in a non profit setting or in public speaking, or in a fund raising role (for the Marketing and Development role) is a definite asset.

b3 b1 }7 Z7 n5 g- SConsideration will also be given to candidates with a related degree/diploma in public relations, communications or marketing with some related experience. Finally, you will possess intermediate to advanced computer skills in Micro Soft Office.
