March 7th: the University of Alberta Museums’ annual Science Sunday for kids!- }( K* b- y7 j
. k) ^& z R d. c9 i4 _On Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, the University of Alberta Museums present the annual Science Sunday, an afternoon of discovery for kids aged 5 to 12.

0 l& u7 f. C ]* ]Bring your children, grandchildren, or young friends to explore the natural sciences through a wide range of hands-on activities, including:
% n/ \. k5 D$ a" m# ~5 |1 ~* h, z: X) h i9 M
learning about animal noises with John Acorn, the Nature Nut ! m& O i! [; D. ^% B* M
digging for and examining fossils
- V; a. h5 w7 d% R$ w7 K+ Jexploring the impact of meteorites on the surface of the earth ; Z9 W2 W- h0 R) Z6 @$ T
investigating insects 8 h! [" d0 R" @9 o; c

“Junior researchers” can drop in any time during the afternoon with an adult chaperone to participate. Pre-registration is not required. Admission is by donation.: q- M8 Z. r4 f _/ j5 V

Science Sunday is located in the Earth Sciences Building on the U of A Campus, just off of Saskatchewan Drive. Pay parking is available in Lot N on 111th Street.
