On Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, the University of Alberta Museums present the annual Science Sunday, an afternoon of discovery for kids aged 5 to 12.7 C# I! ~7 Y- |. h4 [: @. S& R6 q
7 _0 K7 L4 [8 ~Bring your children, grandchildren, or young friends to explore the natural sciences through a wide range of hands-on activities, including:2 H, o. r( M# r9 G D

learning about animal noises with John Acorn, the Nature Nut
6 f% u$ O6 D8 K! T: V7 Jdigging for and examining fossils - f' p1 N. h. B) r& e* w9 | X4 ^
exploring the impact of meteorites on the surface of the earth
: x# `) M; |1 j+ Y) zinvestigating insects 1 g1 P" m& L# c
and much more!5 s1 A/ F5 V7 u0 }2 K6 K
“Junior researchers” can drop in any time during the afternoon with an adult chaperone to participate. Pre-registration is not required. Admission is by donation.
