On Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, the University of Alberta Museums present the annual Science Sunday, an afternoon of discovery for kids aged 5 to 12.

7 |& a) b* K g1 f8 I6 OBring your children, grandchildren, or young friends to explore the natural sciences through a wide range of hands-on activities, including:7 L# V1 T, M& D3 Z) j
8 u3 b7 X0 G- v$ K; V) U2 Xlearning about animal noises with John Acorn, the Nature Nut ' k$ X4 x# W" H" A
digging for and examining fossils
8 r8 z! h9 J( {( v, lexploring the impact of meteorites on the surface of the earth - R, k( v" Y8 r2 o/ Z% v+ ~
investigating insects 3 g }9 }. @# @9 D7 u# j
and much more!
" B" ^3 e% {/ ~6 @“Junior researchers” can drop in any time during the afternoon with an adult chaperone to participate. Pre-registration is not required. Admission is by donation.
