March 7th: the University of Alberta Museums’ annual Science Sunday for kids!

; i) H' u1 U' w. H2 e: |On Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, the University of Alberta Museums present the annual Science Sunday, an afternoon of discovery for kids aged 5 to 12.
/ d) _8 M1 } t( D2 a( f' M2 L" ?
Bring your children, grandchildren, or young friends to explore the natural sciences through a wide range of hands-on activities, including:
' K9 ` f9 U4 z# j. q9 h% W8 A' z& {5 C
learning about animal noises with John Acorn, the Nature Nut - u" c: t& n! F1 q, g
digging for and examining fossils
7 \( w4 i' i: D: X% G9 Mexploring the impact of meteorites on the surface of the earth ) d; o- g4 ^9 C6 u* U
investigating insects " X8 W9 t& A, P7 x" \# b
and much more!
/ Y$ _! J7 r/ E“Junior researchers” can drop in any time during the afternoon with an adult chaperone to participate. Pre-registration is not required. Admission is by donation.
