On Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, the University of Alberta Museums present the annual Science Sunday, an afternoon of discovery for kids aged 5 to 12.

- i9 g- m! k: ^4 bBring your children, grandchildren, or young friends to explore the natural sciences through a wide range of hands-on activities, including:% F2 T) {& C" A! l- D5 h
& U. k1 n/ a$ z+ B9 H3 L, A3 p
learning about animal noises with John Acorn, the Nature Nut
3 V* L; O7 O4 L: ^+ y, udigging for and examining fossils
6 D) v2 [& V) c8 J8 u9 r. rexploring the impact of meteorites on the surface of the earth
: X% w ^/ O: Q! uinvestigating insects

“Junior researchers” can drop in any time during the afternoon with an adult chaperone to participate. Pre-registration is not required. Admission is by donation.0 w! Q0 J( a/ e2 V" u4 S+ O

Science Sunday is located in the Earth Sciences Building on the U of A Campus, just off of Saskatchewan Drive. Pay parking is available in Lot N on 111th Street.
