Position Responsibilities:
$ w: T4 u3 Z+ e+ o4 y•        Installation, configuration and trouble shooting of software for process control/ Z; q& n% O/ B! z* O: ~9 m
•        Identification and replication of software defects  
9 c; l: |- x3 B+ j3 f. {- }; e1 g3 D•        Phone and e-mail support for internal and external clients  * s$ O7 p! O5 j# j8 l- Y
•        Managing customer expectations
( Q/ e5 i) a2 H: L- c•        Documentation of technical procedures 2 x' m$ ?2 {/ u* s, q& o5 [
•        Trouble shooting client network issues
  m- G7 l. }6 I1 |•        Optimizing system configurations  8 W& g* h; y) J6 e, I/ t
•        Low key software development tasks (not a requirement) & e; Y/ M0 V$ U/ F
•        Responsible for maintenance of internal ticketing system 5 o! d# b0 F$ E) V
•        Involvement in the development and design of a trouble shooting tool for client.

Skills and Knowledge Required* c7 }* V7 W  N' J( }: P2 {
•        Customer service skills
7 e% ]3 T' W) o5 D" v•        Technical writing skills " c3 c2 e9 z3 N
•        C++ development skills
8 Z" _( j! l. Q•        Software Trouble shooting skills, or the ability to recognize external issues.
& D6 @) _. d7 P•        Network trouble shooting skills ' X3 }4 A4 |5 s& B/ n/ j! O# x
•        Excellent interpersonal and team skills
# o1 }) e0 M$ a•        Comfort dealing with multiple and varied assignments $ ?3 b: t1 `/ {: E5 O
•        General knowledge of databases and SQL (this would be preferred, but is not a requirement)

Experience and Education
1 `( ^) h, Z9 N. ^' G+ K4 _•        Technical degree or diploma 8 Z9 z' C# N1 U* G: j- q* l
•        2 years experience in a technical support role
