几年前看电影you 've got a mail 学了个词ironic; l. ?/ D1 t" I5 e& I

这个词sarcastic 和ironic 用法上有什么区别。5 A) [" c# h {4 `; O1 M! s

# c" H, K2 {; Y# C u# N4 c) `6 d
ironic:' @/ r, K5 P( ~/ C* t& a: H
我在博客上帖了我们一大早赶飞机的照片,孩子们累得睁不还眼,我下面写的评注是: it's hard to tell that we were tired isn't it?' y" e% s& Y5 d0 i [$ P
there, I was being ironic
" @- D! w m& @5 J' E( u% dironic 还可以形容一个situation, 比如:al gore is portrayed as a front line fighter for environmental issues, ironically he owns one of the most gas consuming cars in the world. (好容易让我编出这么个例句来!)1 ]% H' `: v4 [# W. \# w3 r! a
4 q, i# i' K. x/ T4 q: w如花: hi 美女& q* a7 V. {% h8 y* v
美女: are you being sarcastic?& }1 w2 v. ?* x% p5 N
如花: i swear, i mean it, you are one of the most beautiful girls i‘ve even seen!' S! b8 B+ b: k0 g( F! {0 `
美女: thanks! ironically i was just told by my brother:if you are not pretty, better be polite。 |
