My Department have a few vacancies for drafting persons.  Hope this posting will benefit our Chinese Community.

Practice Area: Transportation Infrastructure

Description:
The Transportation Practice Area (Roadways and Bridges) has opportunities for draftspersons proficient with Microstation to prepare drawings for projects based on the civil or structural design provided by the Technologists.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate should have:
•       Proficiency with Microstation
•       Ability to utilize add on programs such as InRoads
•       Understanding of the geometric and structural aspects of projects
•       Ability to assess and estimate requirements
•       Ability to work under minimum supervision
•       Membership of or eligible for membership in ASET
•       Minimum two years experience in the field

I think you only need to take courses in NAIT to be eligible for ASET and we are lack of a large number of draftsperson. If you have good experience in Drafting in Microstation and ACAD. I can introduce you to the Chief Draftperson of the company. He is a friend of mine and he is the person selecting draftsperson.

Thanks for you advice and help.

I am proficient in AutoCAD but not in Microstation.

Also I've got the admission from NAIT for a direct entry into second study year of Electrical Engineering Technology program and I may study this program from September this year.

We just got a senior drafting person for 70K per year still got position for intermediate and junior position.
