Responsibilities:& P6 `3 \, v, X/ e/ i8 E
- Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth
* J5 u5 w* u- L; p- Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling. q' t/ u, }$ x
- Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups
3 H: H; K% U% m) _5 d. d/ d- u' v- Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs' G- u! q( c" O
- Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health

# N9 I% C1 A, E1 dKey Qualifications:
3 E* v6 l9 w, B6 u: q- Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences8 K5 X; U6 z' T6 b/ `; {& g* C" d# S6 A# T
- At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement
3 O2 N7 H2 ^0 b9 {% Y' b9 r1 Q- Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others
4 C( _6 g# r# @7 w S- Experience doing program development
" D6 \. S1 t. }- Strong organizational and coordination skills8 h- R; ?# t' N2 v; {+ R) f7 ^3 K
- Self-directed and able to take initiative
; h S, p5 @7 c& Q* w- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset
