) f( g2 Q9 w9 W+ Y- a- Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth
" ~7 l7 m' c1 [! x6 c) D- Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling
5 r) K4 K: i/ `' M- b; r- X- Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups) t8 ^. V& a/ s$ X
- Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs5 ]+ t7 I, W. B$ _- [% r4 S, A
- Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health

- Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences9 d8 X# O1 x/ E" Z* O2 M- c
- At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement
) t2 Q7 }. B" k3 s- Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others
7 H H, G% U: a7 B. _% y" m1 k4 y4 n- Experience doing program development: U* ]& `" e- i) x- n. C% c
- Strong organizational and coordination skills& ?+ i9 J' A% K1 B$ [4 |8 p. k3 J
- Self-directed and able to take initiative' n; C+ o6 X) Y& ]1 c; h. T; l; ?
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset
% M/ Y s- A2 g9 |9 d- Vehicle and valid drivers’ license

Assets:

- Skills in marketing & promotions
