! g; t" c6 P- B3 P- Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth
5 c, W( {1 n+ h/ d" |+ W/ o) @2 c- Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling
. [. o2 U" `, o H, ^" x. E- Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups
/ n7 O0 ]# H; g; }4 u7 w2 O9 v+ ]- Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs; W2 m. @+ Y: Q. ~1 p: \, o

Key Qualifications:
4 Z6 h- l1 I& _- Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences0 w+ R$ v% z0 N6 F! F
- At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement# s; m" V- |, {5 X+ F% @' {
- Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others& }2 d1 }& Z* u7 H& n
- Experience doing program development; J" k% B& R( w4 P2 e
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
4 L8 W6 \! Z7 L* E: W X9 U- Self-directed and able to take initiative; ]4 R1 ^7 O: Q. [
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset L2 i; L. _. q
- Vehicle and valid drivers’ license8 n6 f* d; A- K; l* }4 n/ B* j
