Position: Project Coordinator, Smart Choices.

. b+ j$ `% F- ?- Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth% J) f% z1 j) X! U- k
- Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling
+ w8 R& U' H& `, P: V- Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups4 U' j/ y3 ?, X: A
- Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs) K0 A& ~# Q( R
- Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health

Key Qualifications:! K/ G: p+ C7 B1 v" G
- Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences$ k, X S' D6 D9 ~5 }# l
- At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement
" [2 A2 \( c7 V0 e- Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others* g3 [6 {9 o& S B- A2 z* c
- Experience doing program development- l, O6 Z4 Y/ d0 Q* D
- Strong organizational and coordination skills) |" j# L1 @3 r* U0 M* v+ j
- Self-directed and able to take initiative
7 R' J& n9 h% i+ u: g- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset

- Experience conducting community needs assessments and program evaluation/ T8 h! Z7 x' ^7 B7 N5 t
- Knowledge of and experience working with immigrant and refugee communities
