Education , Edmonton - We are seeking an individual to work with the Technical Environment Team of the LearnAlberta.ca portal project. As a programmer and applications tester, you will apply strong analytical and problem solving skills to assist in the creation and modification of LearnAlberta.ca and supporting websites. 8 \4 ~3 O# y8 N& K. I' U4 ~

G8 U; u0 C& w) H8 m0 vThe Web Programmer/Tester will work toward supporting processes established around distributing content through web delivery by editing, adding and testing content for the web environment. This position will assist in the development, implementation, operation and maintenance, and in testing new applications to ensure compliance within specifications of our client environment.

Qualifications: You must be a recent graduate (within the last two years) from a recognized post-secondary institution with a degree or diploma related to Information Technology studies or Computing Science. Experience in one or more of the following areas: object-oriented programming technologies, relational database technologies, XML structures, networking in a client/server and internet environment, web technologies, multimedia plug-ins, testing software, or bug tracking tools, with experience in working in Macintosh and Windows environments.
