院子里的浆果熟了,劳工说这是nanjing cherry, 没听说过,我就找了一个saskatoon的果酱方子。做出来很像山楂糕的味道,但是酸甜更可口,可抱着瓶子大吃,与有心人分享# N( c( F" Z! |8 |4 Z

S'TOONS 'N STUFF FARM SASKATOON SAUCE

! v% V5 T2 o# E( Y% D3 cups saskatoons 750 ml
# s: B4 S3 u2 P! G1 cup water 250 ml " Z* ^& U$ N% _( c7 m# F `, d, ~
2 Tbsp. corn starch 30 ml 9 t+ @) E8 U, I1 u
1/2 cup sugar 125 ml * G5 t- b, G1 x$ P) b# V, ^1 H; c
juice of 1 lemon* 1

Place saskatoons in saucepan with water and bring to boil. Simmer 5 minutes, slightly crush berries with a potato masher. Blend cornstarch and sugar, add slowly to saskatoons, and boil until thick and clear. Add lemon juice and cool.

Slice a pound cake or Orange Loaf** (, spoon sauce over two slices, top with Cool Whip and another dollop of sauce. Yum!

*Grate the rind from the lemon and store in freezer for making “S’toons ‘n Stuff Muffins”.
