院子里的浆果熟了,劳工说这是nanjing cherry, 没听说过,我就找了一个saskatoon的果酱方子。做出来很像山楂糕的味道,但是酸甜更可口,可抱着瓶子大吃,与有心人分享* Z; l2 Z, p# A a( ~- z

S'TOONS 'N STUFF FARM SASKATOON SAUCE 4 m6 v8 m1 B9 P

3 cups saskatoons 750 ml
4 \; @9 {& ?2 N' B; k' o/ z1 cup water 250 ml
. }5 @$ s7 q% ^1 S2 Tbsp. corn starch 30 ml
* v8 s; f0 h5 N. v9 ]1/2 cup sugar 125 ml

Place saskatoons in saucepan with water and bring to boil. Simmer 5 minutes, slightly crush berries with a potato masher. Blend cornstarch and sugar, add slowly to saskatoons, and boil until thick and clear. Add lemon juice and cool.1 x; m& z3 e2 @. A

Slice a pound cake or Orange Loaf** (, spoon sauce over two slices, top with Cool Whip and another dollop of sauce. Yum!' L0 K# V+ Z. Q- i1 O& N$ a

*Grate the rind from the lemon and store in freezer for making “S’toons ‘n Stuff Muffins”.
