available, including signs and symptoms of influenza and what you should

influenza virus is contagious and is spread person to person via close9 q4 [+ D# K& }* y0 y& V5 v* m
contact. The virus also rests on hard surfaces such as counters and) S: d6 B' R. K# h4 B
doorknobs and can spread when people touch contaminated surfaces and
" n5 y1 P7 {# O/ s' ~, Kthen unknowingly transfer the virus to their eyes, nose or mouth.2 h( g. @1 B2 z7 ~$ w
Practicing good preventive hygiene (e.g., wash your hands and cover your
! W/ {; s& }& d- D5 l) y# q# U/ ocough) and following the self-care practices as outlined by Alberta3 ~' ]% D3 i7 ]+ {% W- y
Health and Wellness will greatly assist in minimizing the chance of
