ESL Training Aimed at Worksite Orientation

Some months ago we became aware that some new Canadian members were being turned around at orientation due to language problems that led to safety concerns by the employers.

The folks at the Training Centre have sought and received funding to provide ESL courses aimed at the worksite.

This course is provided by NorQuest College and will be offered at our Training Centre in Edmonton.

On Tuesday, October 27th an information session is being held to introduce the course content to new Canadian trades-people or those looking to enter the trades.
