This role is responsible for the following activities representing site: + q3 O6 H: t5 c( y# i
• First line SPI support for site personnel as it pertains to all SPI databases representing the operating Plants; this includes interfacing with Nexen Corporate SPI 2nd line support
( R9 x: R! [ B• Provide SPI training to Operations personnel5 h6 l3 I4 j% g, U1 Z6 W
• Administer User Group permissions, and site user accounts
: e/ K6 N1 Y( W• SPI Redline incorporation (As-Building) of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Panel Strip Reports, and Foundation Fieldbus Segments
4 Q0 A7 n2 \. _( X, J3 y8 h/ P5 p+ f% ~• Assist Instrument Engineering with preparation of engineering packages including assigning & approval of tag numbers, and generation of loop drawings, data sheets & wiring diagrams

1 _7 N. V8 i& R) d8 @6 r7 W• Adherence to the Corporate data handling and storage practices as it pertains to Instrumentation deliverables
1 u5 q' U% K. A8 J" u% J+ N• Site governor of Nexen SPI Corporate standards, procedures, workflows, and guidelines. Taking direction from the Corporate SPI Administrator9 n4 W4 b9 T, s' e
• Site coordinator for SPI data dissemination for maintenance and operations concurrent projects. Interfacing with the Nexen Corporate SPI Administrator to ensure Projects have timely access to the required data.0 V% P1 x7 }. d6 J& X

Education / Experience2 m* }7 T& z! }# ^2 H
• Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience as a Designer working in INtools/SPI7 L& I4 N. w- b; z$ a3 Z5 I
• Must have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience as an INtools/SPI Administrator
4 J" u& S5 q0 c& `# ?# V• Diploma in Engineering Drafting Technology or a combination of education and experience will be considered' k* K) T) y( C+ `9 [. q
• Experience with Autocad v2008 and Microstation v8 is required
* y J0 W8 k) b( g• Experience with Livelink, Smart Plant Electrical and Smart Plant P&ID will be considered an asset8 w6 F. w; Y4 T3 T
• Experience working as a member of an Owner Operator organization supporting SPI is an asset. |
