Job Duties / Responsibilities
5 g( w( Q: e; t4 K' v3 uThis role is responsible for the following activities representing  site:
/ J, A7 P$ J) V4 [# N1 F• First line SPI support for site personnel as it pertains to all SPI databases representing the operating Plants; this includes interfacing with Nexen Corporate SPI 2nd line support
) R0 r- _5 v2 S7 S) {, B: f• Provide SPI training to Operations personnel
• Administer User Group permissions, and site user accounts
) W  R; ~% N4 k1 u' q1 J6 `$ U; ~• SPI Redline incorporation (As-Building) of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Panel Strip Reports, and Foundation Fieldbus Segments
: n  f7 |8 V1 `, a, [8 P• Assist Instrument Engineering with preparation of engineering packages including assigning & approval of tag numbers, and generation of loop drawings, data sheets & wiring diagrams
) `5 m# S1 y4 M• Autocad and Microstation drafting
  h  i9 ?4 ], u8 |; K2 n- n• Adherence to the Corporate data handling and storage practices as it pertains to Instrumentation deliverables
2 d9 z/ U( ]; d" R0 s; z• Site governor of Nexen SPI Corporate standards, procedures, workflows, and guidelines. Taking direction from the Corporate SPI Administrator
• Site coordinator for SPI data dissemination for maintenance and operations concurrent projects. Interfacing with the Nexen Corporate SPI Administrator to ensure Projects have timely access to the required data.

Education / Experience
• Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience as a Designer working in INtools/SPI
• Must have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience as an INtools/SPI Administrator
• Diploma in Engineering Drafting Technology or a combination of education and experience will be considered
• Experience with Autocad v2008 and Microstation v8 is required
' D9 z, n3 \8 I/ [3 R• Experience with Livelink, Smart Plant Electrical and Smart Plant P&ID will be considered an asset
1 N4 M" l/ V  S* v! u; c6 E' P" |• Experience working as a member of an Owner Operator organization supporting SPI is an asset.
