This program is for immigrants and members of visible minorities who have an interest in a career in law enforcement.

/ |2 V4 \+ q6 MStart date: November 2, 2009 End date: March 31, 2010.
Programs run from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm
Location: Edmonton Mennonite Centre for Newcomers, 8914 118 Avenue

Entrance Criteria
You must be/have:
/ U* ]+ I& X3 A5 P• Alberta High School Diploma (or equivalent)
• Unemployed or underemployed
! n1 G$ V) o, p+ k. m• Minimum 18 years of age
- ?7 \) W. Y- [$ n7 C• Good moral character
) }8 V6 R8 B  L4 Q; }. n3 j& k• Good health and physical condition
• Good written and verbal communication skills – must be at a CLB 6+
& v. D' r+ ~( u- H: e) ^6 K• Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license
• No criminal convictions for which a pardon has not been granted
