6 U+ T" x) D; W: PThis program is for immigrants and members of visible minorities who have an interest in a career in law enforcement.

$ G9 T2 s2 Q. u$ A8 AStart date: November 2, 2009 End date: March 31, 2010.
6 I/ D1 b3 P! M/ _" hPrograms run from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm
Location: Edmonton Mennonite Centre for Newcomers, 8914 118 Avenue

& N0 G% F" O& l# h- IYou must be/have:
1 ^( p: }# e4 I7 j• Alberta High School Diploma (or equivalent)
• Unemployed or underemployed
6 _3 ^5 n- H% h0 ^) w• Minimum 18 years of age
: a' I# }- @$ R* G) `2 ?, }9 R• Good moral character
• Good health and physical condition
. V/ r5 b3 ^# W3 @; E, j7 i  o) u• Good written and verbal communication skills – must be at a CLB 6+
% b  r$ g. p5 U: U! A• Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license
• No criminal convictions for which a pardon has not been granted
• Eligible for financial assistance, or willing to pay tuition
