Police say they got a tip Thursday night from a citizen who told them he'd been driving behind a cube van that was giving off a strong odour of marijuana. " l% F% L6 v& B/ U8 P0 Y6 _+ ^5 j! L( ^9 @; O1 |8 Z
Officers who responded to the call said they also smelled the pot plants about half a block before they pulled over the van." r! y. c: _: B* t

Roughly 400 kilograms of pot was taken from the vehicle and the driver and a passenger were arrested without incident. + @* t5 a. J) o1 ^) I9 A2 S; N) a; j' n& x' M3 j
Charges of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking have been laid against Dihn Xuan Luu, 44 and Deng Xuan Dihn, 51.
