Point Pelee National Park is southeast of Windsor about an hour, near Wheatley, Kingsville and Leamington Ont." E" ]) n1 s! K6 y1 `* p7 p
It is the Southernmost land point of Canada , and other than group camping, is a day use park only.% ~$ Z8 ?4 V+ m9 a) E

The National Butterfly count takes place August 8th, and you can pre-register your family to take part, lots of fun for the kiddies (Too Late).8 y4 i* p, R4 U- A8 D9 p- H2 R
Great hiking, guides, canoe tours and rentals, bike rentals and the butterfly migration is something to see.' y1 A. p4 M9 _& j* q
The ferry to Pelee Island only runs from Kingsville this year, not from Leamington in case your interested in going on the winery tours and hikes there.- q3 F" K/ v2 m' ~6 I* N
