Point Pelee National Park is southeast of Windsor about an hour, near Wheatley, Kingsville and Leamington Ont.# e6 R& @; O9 Q$ p- m$ N
It is the Southernmost land point of Canada , and other than group camping, is a day use park only.

$ H; E1 h" v( m% L1 DThe National Butterfly count takes place August 8th, and you can pre-register your family to take part, lots of fun for the kiddies (Too Late).: [; C0 [% A7 P" e% B1 u* B1 \
Great hiking, guides, canoe tours and rentals, bike rentals and the butterfly migration is something to see.
3 b4 J: d4 X* ]4 d( k, sThe ferry to Pelee Island only runs from Kingsville this year, not from Leamington in case your interested in going on the winery tours and hikes there.
