A 20-year-old woman has been charged after a tenant found the dead body of a baby girl under a bed in a north-end Edmonton home last week.

The 20-year-old college student was granted bail Tuesday.

/ g0 E2 v7 Z# B6 xPolice have released few details on the autopsy results, but said Tuesday the girl was born alive. The girl's death is still being labelled as suspicious and not a homicide.

# c- S1 }9 h3 @1 N% }The infant was found on March 19 when a man sharing a home at 69 Street and 130 Avenue, who would only identify himself as Wayne, entered the basement suite to do some laundry.

Wayne said his dog began barking and eventually led him to the body. He and his girlfriend called police after they saw a small hand in the bag.
