A 20-year-old woman has been charged after a tenant found the dead body of a baby girl under a bed in a north-end Edmonton home last week.9 Y- D; n' e0 {! D6 y

Naomi Russell-Simpson is charged with committing an indignity to a body, neglect to obtain assistance in child birth and concealing the body of a child.2 S' r3 a6 I% c% ~2 [4 X8 o) l4 Q6 D

The 20-year-old college student was granted bail Tuesday.

1 g) C& c2 `7 r: l; J8 pThe infant was found on March 19 when a man sharing a home at 69 Street and 130 Avenue, who would only identify himself as Wayne, entered the basement suite to do some laundry.& I# V; C1 ~4 R

Wayne said his dog began barking and eventually led him to the body. He and his girlfriend called police after they saw a small hand in the bag.
