A 20-year-old woman has been charged after a tenant found the dead body of a baby girl under a bed in a north-end Edmonton home last week.* u# o9 m T& @! V" p x
! x' P( P8 E" d$ }/ fNaomi Russell-Simpson is charged with committing an indignity to a body, neglect to obtain assistance in child birth and concealing the body of a child.6 A! V: K8 \: I. V9 a: h j

Police have released few details on the autopsy results, but said Tuesday the girl was born alive. The girl's death is still being labelled as suspicious and not a homicide.; B. K% |: u' ^8 y( |" o6 t5 X
2 ?3 o+ J* S$ m/ n8 J- ^The infant was found on March 19 when a man sharing a home at 69 Street and 130 Avenue, who would only identify himself as Wayne, entered the basement suite to do some laundry.

1 }% S' `9 _( {% IWayne said his dog began barking and eventually led him to the body. He and his girlfriend called police after they saw a small hand in the bag.
