" P9 G5 \: R2 S' VThe YWCA is recruiting a Receptionist. The Front Desk is the central point for internal and external communications for all departments, programs and events. A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.

• Arrange courier services for all departments9 u A/ Y+ v! \! @
• Oversee Y-Knit program; provide support to its volunteers

Administration
& y; A$ q7 M" @+ G• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail
9 R }$ i1 `7 j, S( ?- }( L( {• Sort and distribute mail and deliveries
/ j# g S/ c) }1 ]% ~% S5 O9 s( r• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency
" }5 U `/ T2 Y9 t4 Q• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration
+ j3 T3 n! }( H; u% Z; [% z• Assist with task management for administrative volunteers
# p+ ]! q1 @1 h2 `7 a• Create monthly staff bulletin and prepare for distribution
7 A ]7 G0 j6 C• Assist Business department with weekly bank deposit and processing payments - g* h5 p$ e |5 B
• Assemble and forward information packets as requested5 ]; J. ?3 I" y, e, x1 }

• Assist YoWoChAs Outdoor Education Registration as required

• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures
" L3 a1 |! ]9 a• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
k$ e. u! N5 ?• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset6 |/ |' \7 ~* r, c
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills 5 J+ Q) ^0 g; b5 a$ |- A
