You can get a Home Equity Line of credit(HELOC) if you do have any plan to purchase anything else or a second house.

. D4 V Q8 e; Z2 }- q# GThe bank will give you a letter. You need this letter to clear your land title. My lawyer did that for me, so I am not exactly sure where he did it, maybe city of Edmonton. BTW, you don't need a lawyer to do it. You can do it yourself.

Should you wish to obtain an updated copy of title, please contact your local Registry Agent in 3 to 6 weeks." 我还需要去政府的land title office办手续吗?是不是银行已经办完了?
我的理解是:银行已经向land title office发出release interest的文件,land title office收到后会在系统里更新,但政府不会主动寄证书给屋主(但系统已经显示正确)。若屋主想得到那张粉红色的land title证书,还是需要去land title office那里付很少手续费打印出来。% |9 v B) k6 t4 R/ P; `( i
或者是各家银行不同,有的银行可以直接把新证书也代办了寄给屋主? * ]0 E( }6 K% v. q" c1 {' A建议楼主去电自己银行咨询是否会把证书也寄来?或者去电land title office咨询权威的答复。
