Gas, power, water contract...

I know Enmax, Direct Energy, and Alberta Energy Savings (AES) offer energy contracts. But which one is better?
And fix rate or floating gas rate?  
Regulated or unregulated?

DIRECT ENERGY IS THE BILLING SERVICE PROVIDER FOR ATCO GAS, MAJORITY EDMONTIANS USE IT.
MOST FAMILIES DIDN'T LOCK THEIR PLAN TO FIXED RATE, FOR MYSELF, I ALSO PREFER TO USE THE REGULATED FLOATING GAS RATE.

顺便再问一下，gas是不是搬进去以后再申请也来得及吧，对炉子没啥影响吧？

我也想请教一下，建新房子的话，一般搬进去之前多久开始联系水，电，气等公司阿？还有房屋保险等等。多谢了
