Big Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton and Area provides mentoring programs to more than 2,800 children, youth and families.  We are looking for 1 temporary summer staff.

1 K' \8 c8 H; j, Y6 C& m: b1 Multicultural Summer Camp Kitchen cook (20 hours a week for 8 week contract)

! y9 S9 _; W" Q2 x4 q/ }9 A' CKey Responsibilities Include:

0 L3 B- y. c2 o  n1 zActivity Planning and Daily Activity
: D( X- S  u, x•        Assist in planning, organizing preparing and ordering all breakfast ,lunch and snacks
3 E5 n8 j$ T! c7 o4 c# h•        Ensure the facilities are meeting health code
1 A6 o& e4 |4 R" x3 c6 D& W% m
The successful candidate will have:

•        The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
•        Experience with children
•        Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.
•        Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources
) _3 N5 ]) V0 V1 v- \6 w( E•        A clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check  
9 A/ n. _- n  p4 `% t% j•        A clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check

In addition to an excellent work environment, The Africa Centre & Big Brothers Big Sisters offer an hourly salary of $15-hour .
