& `9 r$ L0 j# X1 H0 hBig Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton and Area provides mentoring programs to more than 2,800 children, youth and families.  We are looking for 4 temporary full time summer staff.

4 Multicultural Summer Camp Program Staff
5 C0 T2 ]( X% G4 Q0 N(8 week contract @ 35 hours a week)

' u6 \: c; C! M4 H* zKey Responsibilities Include:
Activity Planning and Daily Activity
! U- v4 |# h. w9 ^% U* V5 G•        Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their  resilience, relationship building and leadership.
•        Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring.
•        Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer  and volleyball,
( C( T* v2 i5 \1 Y6 m& l& D6 w$ o' n4 ^- q•        Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.
•        Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.
•        Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.

The successful candidate will have:
•        The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
•        Experience with children
8 b9 D9 r4 |" [, B$ u0 A; w/ ]•        Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth
1 _+ o+ `  ^! w$ L/ N/ p9 U•        Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.
•        Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.
•        Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources
# t% j% w- h/ q0 k- Y•        Documentation of a clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check  
•        Documentation of a  clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check
