4 Multicultural Summer Camp Program Staff

, J* M/ O. y0 Q! f/ QKey Responsibilities Include:
- v* P/ H) z4 W |( a- V) ~Activity Planning and Daily Activity
5 V- j; }6 d3 [) X• Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their resilience, relationship building and leadership.8 y1 ^7 M' s8 n7 R9 P% O& x+ N
• Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring.
: {1 V2 s6 h/ t3 \# K5 f• Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer and volleyball,
i% K: l! s. n3 ~• Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.
& p1 e( ^* a, ]. s4 P( L• Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.% d( k2 M0 b# \" E( q7 o& k5 S
• Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.- l4 y6 k* ~. m( q( ?7 a; }; P

5 i, o: A O: y! B2 M! W• The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
; J5 K8 q7 q8 c2 H• Experience with children
" G6 b/ l! U- o% s! d4 {$ x• Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth
& Y! H- v/ ^# D• Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.
5 c( G( M% C% j" x) C, x8 Y! p• Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.
& p- V9 ^! \4 C; ]: H' M) f/ D• Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources' b" k: t) i5 e! }* S2 s3 K" s
• Documentation of a clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check 9 H3 u' }; v- `- X. h! K% S# y! s
• Documentation of a clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check ( F9 D7 G! S- g2 B
