4 Multicultural Summer Camp Program Staff

Key Responsibilities Include:
0 J+ _3 I. Q8 W: EActivity Planning and Daily Activity0 h9 ^; A5 Y n/ g3 A/ a) H
• Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their resilience, relationship building and leadership.
8 o2 K/ @" Y- u0 G* U• Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring. * V4 D8 A/ [; ]" h9 ?
• Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer and volleyball,
2 |$ R2 D. S' v( G• Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.' ~$ [9 @: o( r; l& ?
• Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.
2 ^, _8 i1 s G ?- @1 }& V• Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.$ }4 k8 T8 U6 k0 j2 \9 M

The successful candidate will have:
. o% Z% e/ J' k6 b• The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
: v! M# O. F2 _( O• Experience with children
) R. o4 z, M2 g% L. O% a' B• Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth
+ r" D5 f$ v) {3 Y: M• Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.
: h* G. {. f9 H* `, a• Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.
% j: L8 r1 J! @• Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources$ z2 N5 b# T, ?* R' z
• Documentation of a clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check ' }0 C3 B( O# R; ?) Q
• Documentation of a clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check 2 Y" e' \7 y! K2 w( f+ |. X+ S
