4 Multicultural Summer Camp Program Staff

Activity Planning and Daily Activity

U- v4 |# h. w9 ^% U* V5 G• Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their resilience, relationship building and leadership.$ W! [8 U/ s, Y) b ?' K. ~- v
• Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring. ' I3 J0 |5 G; d8 |
• Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer and volleyball,
( C( T* v2 i5 \1 Y6 m& l& D6 w$ o' n4 ^- q• Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.# t. t( A. |2 e& w3 Y, C9 [
• Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.6 d7 k W' k% l$ g! U( c
• Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.5 q# e5 k: T$ m1 Z! O5 |

The successful candidate will have:5 c' @! M- c% ]! x
• The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting* E1 m N* w: s
• Experience with children
8 b9 D9 r4 |" [, B$ u0 A; w/ ]• Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth
1 _+ o+ ` ^! w$ L/ N/ p9 U• Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring./ w Q8 g" N- ^8 i$ U
• Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.' d8 I! p! I0 H: `6 P5 N. F
• Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources
# t% j% w- h/ q0 k- Y• Documentation of a clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check / h' n3 D3 v/ \
• Documentation of a clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check 1 J: Q* C5 O, w. A, t2 e
