6 J6 N2 m: \- G4 ?Activity Planning and Daily Activity9 l K; i* o) x: [# {9 `% ?
• Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their resilience, relationship building and leadership.
" j* Q6 _7 n5 z, q8 j/ A• Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring.
* R8 O5 r! ?1 K; k5 w9 ^• Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer and volleyball,
0 G% c& B7 X# S) o• Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.
1 n& T a5 Q t• Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.
; o+ m# R9 F+ H7 ~' k$ U, I" U• Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.6 D4 Y' o3 ?) A( r! S- S

The successful candidate will have:
& I6 x9 @" p) {! \( c( |! Q9 T• The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
8 `3 u2 c5 I% ?• Experience with children7 a6 m# k, _7 s' o( u) ?% D
• Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth , k" s$ c" ?2 m: C; v( P, m; q
• Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.
y7 I/ H' M- x4 z P5 L& s• Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.
0 L0 s# ~9 S: }4 v• Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources

• A clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check

In addition to an excellent work environment, The Africa Centre & Big Brothers Big Sisters offer an hourly salary of $15-hour .
