2 Multicultural Summer Camp Program Students

+ \; F- M& |7 o$ L$ o( OActivity Planning and Daily Activity* n* z. X* d& J% A6 ?1 }0 l
• Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their resilience, relationship building and leadership.
& s% h% v% B, U5 e& a# a' l0 ^• Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring.
: @+ c7 m n1 i, U• Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer and volleyball,
+ ` {/ ]2 _/ p) C1 s, N2 V• Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.
& |* R) a4 I( l# l• Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.( h8 O$ {& s8 C: G% l7 F
• Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.$ F4 c. P1 C6 }! V0 _

The successful candidate will have:2 \- f% x! B* E3 n# {9 R+ ~. y
• The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
' u5 z, F* ^/ X( M. M Q( n0 q• Experience with children! D5 J- G [+ g/ `7 G8 w) w0 n
• Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth ( x5 D6 T* i% F6 D( g R: Y' I" L/ L
• Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.1 l q: d# v$ H% O
• Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.
+ B, {! X# g! a$ c- h7 N( O+ S• Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources
7 d6 v) ^# w; I7 ~• A clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check
$ X q6 y% L5 J• A clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check

In addition to an excellent work environment, The Africa Centre & Big Brothers Big Sisters offer an hourly salary of $15-hour .
